Heating broken so absolutely freezing, ruined the film

The booking process was fine. The film was excellent. The theatre was comfortable apart from being extremely cold. I do not think you need air conditioning on at this time of year.

Spiderman was great, we love Ben and Jerry's and the medium Fanta was huge! Checking in was easy too!

It was so cold in the cinema that it took the whole enjoyment of the film. I was wearing my coat in the cinema and was shivering. I’ve previously complained about this at my last visit and nothing has changed

I am 83 and useless with technology. Booked 2 tickets for brilliant film pressure and forwarded to Wallet, husband’s phone and son who urged to see it. When we arrived no sign of tickets in wallet, husband’s phone. V kind man on check in who sent me to popcorn man who produced tickets instantly! It was a great film and I was so happy to receive such kind treatment from your amazing staff! Back soon as I was given promotional material by the check in guy!

Film was great (Sense and Sensibility). The Odeon Guildford could do with some updating and I don’t like the mess customers make with food and drink but the experience was still worthwhile.

Lovely staff, very kind and helpful. It always makes the experience nice.

The whole experience is rather depressing from the shabby decor to the staff who give the impression that they would rather be anywhere else on a Saturday night. Then there is the outrageous prices charged for snacks and drinks.
Maximum profit for minimum cost.

Very disappointing experience at ODEON Guildford.

My four friends and I travelled around an hour by train to watch **Khalifa at the 19:15 showing on 20 August**. Only after we arrived were we told that the air conditioning was not working. Staff said the temperature was “manageable,” so because we had already travelled a long way, we decided to stay.

Unfortunately, it was extremely uncomfortable. It was already very warm before the interval, and after the break it became even hotter. We were sweating while trying to watch the film.

We paid **£8.50 each — £42.50 in total for five people** — and this is not the standard of service I would expect from ODEON. If the air conditioning was not working, the screening should have been cancelled and customers refunded, or at the very least customers should have been informed in advance.

After the film, I also could not find any staff member available to raise the complaint with.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. ODEON should handle situations like this much better and respect customers’ time and money.
