David Vaughan at OCL handled my case.
David was great when he communicated with me however, I would say I was not updated as much as I had hoped.
I also found the process took a long while, accident on 15th December 2024, settled in May 2026. That may be a personal view as I have never claimed personal injury before, however see other reviews on here that have settled within a few weeks/months of an incident taking place
However, I have settled, David helped get that settlement through, and the timing delay could simply be the processes involved as I am not a solicitor so do not know the detail.
Would I use OCL again, yes I would, and this time I would be a bit more "eyes open" in regard to the process.

My RTA claim was handled by Daniel Shepherd, who's tenacity and experience meant my claim was settled in my favor.
This is the second time I have used OCL Solicitors, the first case was also successful.

We were kept in the loop at all time and Sophie our handler was always on hand to answer any questions we had. She was a pleasure to talk to.

I found the team to be extremely informative throughout the process, always providing clear updates and guidance. Their responses were consistently quick, which made everything much easier to manage. Most importantly, it genuinely felt like they had my best interests at heart from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Good communication throughout the process of making my claim following a road traffic accident.

I was kept informed throughout by the staff at OCL and people were always helpful and understanding when I called the office.
The only reason I did not mark as a 5 was because I found it stressful that the other insurers dragged it out to nearly a year and the thought of going into a court. However very happy they finally agreed out of court.

I was kept informed and reassured throughout the lengthy process of a no fault procedure which was being contested. Everything was explained and I felt comfortable with all who dealt with me.

My case handler was dealt a difficult case with the 3rd party refusing to admit liability… she pursued this extensively; whilst accepting daily calls from me; due to the stress. She calmed my worry by setting set days to call me, whether there be an update or not (per my request). I do not underestimate that I was a “pushy” client, given the circumstances, that may be expected. However; she always remained calm, informative and reasonable. I have thanked her multiple times; but once again, I’d like to thank her for all of the above.
