My decision to get a total knee replacement was difficult. After weighing my options in Canada, I am delighted I selected Nord. From start to finish, the facility met all my expectations, answered my very long list of questions (Agne was amazing, as is the Facebook patient group) and gave me confidence I had made the best decision for me. Everything ran smoothly... pickup at airport, consultation with surgeon, surgery, stay in the clinic (2 nights) and all physio post operation. I would not hesitate to recommend Nord to anyone who is considering this as an option.

From the first call to the last visit to physiotherapy it was professional and faultless.

As with anyone, there is an amount of anxiety when thinking about going abroad to have surgery and to read all the reviews it sounded to, good to be true which makes you think am I doing the right thing? The answer was yes. World class service from start to finish. Everyone I spoke to said hiker there had the same opinion, where from wales, Canada or even the locals.

If I or any of my family needed any surgery in the future I will be going back 100%.

I have just returned to Scotland having had my second knee replacement operation. The first one was 29th January 2025. Having extensively researched Nord, and other options, prior to my first operation, I chose Nord due to their first-class reputation for care and rehabilitation. Having experienced the complete package of care on my first visit, I had no hesitation in returning to have my second knee replacement. It may seem like a big step, going over to Lithuania for your treatment, but the level of care, the excellent physio, and the ease of the transfers from your hotel to physio by Nord transport, makes it easier than finding treatment in your own country. The cost level aside, I would choose Nord purely on their levels of service and the quality of their surgeons. All you require is to make contact with Nordorthopaedics and one of their customer care representatives will guide you through the whole process. I was looked after be Agne and she was a delight to deal with. Thanks again to all at Nord.

After my first hip replacement in October 2024 the decision to return to the Nord clinic was a very easy one. I had my second replacement in May 2025.The whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.The results are outstanding.I would recommend to anyone experiencing the pain of arthritis who needs a solution.

Getting hip replacement is a big decision, especially when considering going overseas to do it. I decided to go to Nord in Kaunas Lithuania after doing plenty of research and watching their Facebook patient group page for a year. I wish I hadn’t waited so long. They were brilliant. From the first enquiry through to the pick up from the airport, the actual surgery and physio everything was top class. Professional, efficient, and friendly with transport to and from all appointments. Everything went like clockwork. So so good! And as a bonus Kaunas is a beautiful clean city with the most amazing pedestrian street Liberty Avenue lined with cafes, restaurants and shops. Perfect for short post operative walks and meals out. Can’t recommend highly enough! My advice would be stop putting it off and book in with Nord!

Had a partial knee replacement last week. Thought the whole process was great from pick up to drop off to the airport. Great staff from surgeon to drivers. Very easy process.

I am two weeks after my THR and feeling amazing. I can climb the stairs at home without pain.
This was my second THR both carried out by Nordorthopaedics.
This wonderful clinic makes everything so easy, right from the first email. Every question or query answered promptly and in detail.
Transport to and from the clinic organized with total precision.
All the staff throughout are completely focused on you, so as to make you feel at ease and in safe hands.
It is a big decision to have such major surgery done abroad. I can personally state it has been the best decision I've made, twice.
Professor Sarunas Tarasevicius makes you feel a part of the family, explaining everything in great detail.
After surgery, you are encouraged to get up and on your feet almost immediately. Then it is onto rehab with Prof. Laimonas Siupsinskas who is the best in the business. He had me walking without crutches in less than a week.
So if your body needs fixed, these are the people to do a professional job and the great plus is, they do it cheaper.

This was the second total hip replacement for me and like the first time, everything about the experience from start to finish has been definitely 5 star. To be "mended" at last from years of pain and gradual immobility is the most wonderful thing. I cannot express how grateful and happy I am to have found Nordorthopaedics.

I had foot surgery at this clinic and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The entire team was extremely professional, and the procedure was very quick and efficient. When I first thought about THR I was skeptical about going outside NI for surgery, then I discovered Nordorthoaedics Clinic , what a discovery from the initial seminar in Belfast in November 2024 right though the whole process to surgery in January 2025 totally professional in what they do.
They made the whole procedure so easy from getting sorted with dates for surgery, accommodation while I was there in Kaunas, the professional operation of airport pick up and back they go over and beyond.
The clinic itself is world class beautiful comfortable surroundings staff on hand 24/7 to attend to any need you had just making that experience that easier for anyone anxious.
Also a physio team second to none , really bosting my recovery and confidence.
All in all everything and everyone at Nord are special and comes highly recommended, thanks for all you done for me ,,,,,,

Right from the first enquiry the information stream, efficiency & helpfulness was terrific. Every question or request was answered or fulfilled.
To be honest, I never researched any other clinics for my knee replacement, I was given a recommendation from a friend who had a hip replacement, knowing how high his standards were & that he would give me the facts of the whole experience, good or bad . That’s why I chose NordClinic.
I sent them my outbound & return flight details, once I had picked an operation date, and all the booking of hotels, after surgery physio were all booked on my behalf. It was so easy ..
I’m now 12 days post operation and home. I’ve got to follow the instructions given to me by the physio team to continue with my rehabilitation and full recovery.

I wish I had thought about this several years sooner and given myself more pain free years of life !!!

Having given up on the NHS and the waiting lists, I did my research and considered all the available options,
I also met some people who had been to Nord, I decided it was the place for me. The best decision I have made in a very long time. The service, professionalism, logistics and genuine care are remarkable, Everything is taken care of, all you have to do is concentrate on recovery,
If I ever need an orthopaedic procedure again I would not consider going anywhere else.
My advice is don't hesitate you won't regret it.

What can I say but nothing but praise. Nord Clinic has been fantastic from start to finish.
I had a total hip replacement on the 6 May and could not be more grateful for the love care and respect I received. Agne my customer service representative was with me every step of the way and guided me through the process. She is an absolute credit to the clinic.
As for the clinic itself I think one word sums it up - safe. The level of care and treatment you receive from all the staff you encounter is nothing short of brilliant. I explained I had a fear of needles and they made sure I didn't see the spinal injection at all.
Each and everyone of the nursing staff treated me so well and made me feel relaxed.
Yes would I use Nord again ?- 100%. If my left hip needs a replacement in the future I will be going straight to Nord.
Even the logistics from picking you up from the airport and going to the clinic is total professionalism. The drivers that took me to my appointment at made me feel at ease and talked about their city and country with pride and were engaging.

All areas of the Nord Clinic operation from initial contact,through surgery to the rehab program worked smoothly and were carried out very professionally. I honestly can't fault the service, the high level of skills and attention to detail, which in this day of poor customer service has been a pleasant revelation.

After having been told by the NHS that my son would have to wait 12 months for ACL reconstruction we decided to look at the options abroad . We chose Nord based on the many positive reviews and also the amount of information available . We then spent a few weeks speaking with Agne on email and we had a consultation with the surgeon who would do the surgery. The service before we arrived was brilliant as they helped us through every step including getting S2 funding from the NHS. When we arrived we were met at the airport by the logistics team and from there we were looked after every day before the surgery and afterwards . The clinic is very modern and the staff from the drivers , receptionists , nurses , surgeons and physio team are all amazing and my son had a great experience. He is now a week post surgery and we are back in the UK and we would not hesitate to use Nord again if we needed to . I highly recommend them and thank them for looking after my son so well .

I would absolutely recommend NC. The medical expertise, staff, logistics and care are second to none. The physio follow up is top class with attentive and professional staff, especially Matas. I live in Hong Kong with family in the UK and NC was recommended by 2 of my family members who had similar excellent treatment. I have already ditched the remaining crutch and I am now getting about the house unaided with almost all pain gone. And this is less than 9 days after surgery. Remarkable.

I had my right hip replacement done at Nord on the 28th of November 2024 and the left hip replacement on the 17th of April 2025.

On both occasions Nord exceeded my expectations. From Customer Service (Neringa, my contact for both procedures, was always very efficient and supportive),
Logistics, Reception, Pre-Op, Surgery (performed by Professor Sarunas Tarasevicius, a brilliant surgeon),
Post-Op care, and Physiotherapy (led by physiotherapist Professor
Laimonas Siupsinskas who is attentive and caring).
All the facilities were clinically clean which I love!

Nord's excellent and efficient coordination between departments makes you feel

I have just returned home from meniscus surgery at Nordorthopaedics. I was very apprehensive beforehand, maybe because of the stigma of having a procedure abroad...however it was by far the best decision I have ever made and the best healthcare I have ever received. The customer service before flying out was great, the staff & nurses at the clinic were so friendly and professional, the logistics ran like clockwork and the physios were brilliant after surgery. My surgeon (Valdemar) was fantastic before and after surgery and I can't thank him enough...And on top of all this, Kaunas is a beautiful city and the people of Lithuania are so friendly. Amazing place, amazing experience.

I contacted the Nord Clinic in March 2025, and had my FHR on 10th May, and I'm now three weeks in to my recovery.
I can't praise Nord too highly - the whole experience was made perfect by their thoroughness, professionalism, attention to detail and thoughtfulness, which was backed up with excellent communication and reassurance from start to end.
The post-op physio was outstanding, and the follow-up documentation for the recovery weeks after flying home have helped me to be well on the road to a full recovery.
