My Nord experience
From initial contact, the level of openness, honesty and information provided regarding overall costs, then to the surgical and rehab process was fantastic. When at the clinic from pre-op tests through surgery and then rehab, I felt the level of care was 100% personalised to my needs. I cannot fault NORD and the team in any way. As the saying goes, everything was exactly as it says on the tin. To me, anyone in pain who can get the money should just book NORD. Getting quality of life back cannot be understated. In my case 2 years of pain is now gone. All I have since the day of surgery is some slight discomfort but that is easing.

Absolutely the place to go if you need anything Orthopaedic.
Organisation is fantastic, people are great , price is incredible and the aftercare brilliant.
I would have no hesitation in going back to NORD for any further procedures :)
Save up more and have it done in the UK instead,
After a few months of waiting and rearranging my trip, I was told that my hip wasn't bad enough to operate. But only after making the travel arrangements, Now most airlines don't refund your money even if you give them two weeks' notice, and it's not a location to travel to that gets regular flights. I was disappointed about the cancellation of my op but they were the ones that pressured me into booking all the arrangements! I shan't be using them in the future.

An amazing place
My experience with NHS was not good. I had an X-ray in may 2022 and was told I had arthritis in my hip. The radiologist report ,which I have only recently seen, stated that I should be referred to a consultant. This was not done and I have gradually gone downhill since .had to stop running, cycling etc. could only swim using my arms. Had a fall on May 9th this year which really hurt. Decided I must do something. NHS wait just to see a consultant was a long one. I was looking at years to get it fixed.
Discovered Nordorthopaedics on 10th May . My surgery was on 8th July and I am well on the way to a new life now (21/07/2025).
The whole experience was amazing. From being picked up at the airport right the way through to being dropped off at the airport. (Kaunas).
I would say to anyone considering travelling to Nord ,don’t be afraid , do it. It is a life changer.
First Class
From my first contact with Neringa it was nothing but sheer professionalism. From the surgeon, anaesthetist, nurses physio down to the logistics team I could not fault them. Thank you all
I had my left hip replaced at Nord
I had my left hip replaced at Nord, having thoroughly researched the Internet for reputable clinics. Their website provides a host of useful information including Q and A with the surgeon and physiotherapist. I also joined their Facebook group where you can post questions and learn from people who have attended the clinic already. From my initial enquiry through to having my hip replaced and follow up physiotherapy, the service and care has been outstanding. Communication before and during my stay was excellent. My contact during my stay was Agne , who answered any queries I had, promptly and thoroughly. My medical care was second to none, as was my physiotherapy, so a huge thank you to all the team involved in my treatment and recovery. I would highly recommend the Nord clinic to anyone considering hop replacement. A 5 star facility.
Please read all of this review
Please read all of this review. I was terrified about having a total hip replacement, especially at our local nhs hospital that has a bad reputation so decided to look at alternatives. Nordorthopaedics came up on Google so I did my research and it was a no brainer. Everything good I read in the reviews was proved correct from the moment I stepped off the plane with my husband. One of the lovely logistics drivers was there to collect us and take us to our air bnb and collect us both each day for pre-op, surgery and physio. After the op the nurses were fantastic, really looked after me. A big thanks to Matos, the physio who quickly got me walking unaided, I was walking up and down the physio room 3 days later which by the way he got everyone doing.
The surgeon, professor Sarunas Sarasevicius gave me great confidence with his strong character and hand shake, you know your in good hands.. you just know and the result was superb. Also, I am from north Manchester, each day I would be at physio, with me were other Brits, Melvin from Belfast, Steve, Linda and Rob from Wales and William from Scotland.. not forgetting Roger from England. The friendship was instant between us all, Each and every one of them were lovely, all with there own stories to tell and we are missing them all. A big part of rehabilitation for thr is the exercise bike so I have bought one and use it daily. If you have any doubts or fears about going to nord for any treatment, please forget them now, I was so scared but its the best decision I've ever made, make sure its yours too. One last shout out, Agnė, my point of contact was always there to guide me through the process from the start to finish, always getting back to me the next day, and even now I've been home for 2 days just messaged to see how I am. Thanks to all involved and my fellow Brits, I am well in my way to having my life back.
My medical care and recovery in rehab…
My medical care and recovery in rehab experience with Nordorthopaedics for my left total hip replacement was first class could not have asked for it to have gone any better especially after waiting so long for the NHS Wales to treat me best decision i have made in my life contacting Nordorthopaedics to treat me
Absolutely 5 star
I have just returned home from my second visit to the Nord clinic (hip then knee) and once again first class service from the admin team logistics clinic staff inc cleaners nurses doctors and especially surgeon's all top class and personally this is probably the only clinic I would use puts our NHS to shame
Highly recommend
I'm back home after a TRHR last week. I cannot fault any part of the experience. The whole thing was completely seamless. The Clinic, staff, Surgeon, Logistics team were all superb; so welcoming but professional. I had a TLHR in January also done privately in Glasgow. The experience is night and day. At Nord they put so much emphasis on post op physio and self care.....and the Nord was £6000 cheaper. (That included flights, op and 7 day stay A/I at UPA medical spa) I need my knee done too and have no hesitation; Nord gets my vote every time. Can't recommend highly enough.

After being told that I needed a replacement hip I set about researching my options and the Nord Clinic stood out by a mile.
I can honestly say from my first contact with the Nord Cliic to returning home the entire experience was outstanding.
The professional attitude of everyone is like a breath of fresh air.
Staying at the Kaunas Hotel was the big bonus as you step out onto an amazing tree line boulevard full of cafes and restaurants.
The 14 days I stayed was more like an holiday.
To sum up I wouldn't hesitate to contact Nord Cliic.
Thank you Nord!
It was a big decision to have tkr surgery and a big decision to go all the way to Lithuania - but Nord Clinic came very highly recommended by a friend who had a thr, and the reviews on the Nord Patient facebook page were very encouraging. And my own personal experience - it was 5-stars all the way. The staff take such good care of you, the facilities are impressive and I found the physio afterward to be absolutely superior. I definitely recommend the lymphatic massage! I really don't think I could have done better anywhere else. And.......I so enjoyed my time in Lithuania. The Kaunas Hotel was an ideal location for the post-op recovery with its beautiful pedestrian street lined with bars, shops and restaurants - the ideal place to do my walking! I really am very grateful for the whole experience. Thank you to the entire Nord Team.

The Nord orthopaedic clinic were superb with my hip replacement from start to finish.
They really are world class.
If you have any doubts about using them you shouldn’t they are excellent.
Overall, amazing.
Great staff, great service and amazing results. I had a broken collarbone that needed to be fixed desperately. After many long hours searching on internet for different clinics and options, nord came up and I contacted them. Quick to answer, accurate and very kind Agnė took care of answering every question I had, she took care of booking the hotel for me, managed my transportation from the airport and much more. The surgery went amazingly well, the scar looks really good and I had no complications. The surgeon dr. Sipavičius was really nice and funny, he made everything clear and made me comfortable from the get-go.
I could never thank them enough, thanks thanks thanks!
Hip operation, Lithuania.
Very helpful information and advice from Justina, price is half of that in UK. You also get very good physio after operation, which is extremely helpful for recovery. This is the second hip I have had done with Nordorthopaedics, and I have had first class service both times. Bill Baldock 84 years old.
Best thing I've done in years!
Following 5 personal recommendations from people I know, I had no hesitation in contacting Nord Orthopaedics.
The level of service from them is outstanding, from the Admin team, the medical staff, drivers, physiotherapists, surgeons, Logistics team: across the entire experience I was kept well informed and everyone seemed genuinely interested in my comfort and well-being.
Clinic facilities and staff are second to none!
I was up and walking only a few hours after a hip replacement, without pain or discomfort: the intensive rehab physiotherapy has really helped me on the way to a full quick recovery, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to Nord Orthopaedics for any future procedures.
Kaunas is a lovely, clean city with friendly people and a vibrant cafe-culture: great food too!
Don't worry about travelling to Nord Orthopaedics for surgery: everyone speaks clear English, are very caring and professional and are genuinely interested in their patients.
Why would I choose a clinic in Lithuania?
Lithuania? Why would I choose Lithuania to get my Hip replaced? So I had a look at the Nordorthapedics web page. Its a pretty good website, impressive. But surly thats just a front to lure you in and take your money? 4.9* rating on Trust Pilot, well those can be faked right? I will give you my honest evaluation here. Everything you read on the website and on trust pilot is 100% real. These guys are the best at the what they do. On June 2nd, I had my hip replaced. I was walking, ok a couple steps, hours after my surgery and Ive just gotten stronger since then. It has now been a week since my surgery and im improving quickly. I cannot recommend Nordorthapedics enough and Lithuania was beautiful and the people were very welcoming and polite. I know you are reading these reviews and you are worrying and just trying to find the best place to get whatever work you need done at a reasonable cost and the best care possable. Do not worry and just book these guys. You will not find a more professional organisation to trust with your surgery, stop looking and just book it. Start enjoing your life now.
Life changing injury dismissed by NHS
Having been dismissed as a candidate ( without even the benefit of a consultation) for rotator cuff repair by the Northern Irish NHS consultant in Derry a potentially lifestyle changing injury was given hope by a skilful Nordoropaedics surgeon. The experience of first hand reports, from those who had received treatment there was borne out and I received a professional service from first contact. The Nordoropaedics admin staff did everything possible to make arrangements run smoothly. Once on the ground their logistics team were on hand to assist with clinic appointments. The experience was hard to fault. In other circumstances a stay in historic Kaunas would have been a very pleasant week; historic buildings, good restaurants and cafes were all on hand from the downtown hotel accommodation, booked on my behalf, by Nordoropaedics staff, for my week long visit.
Rotator Cuff success
Hi,
Having recently returned home to (Northern Ireland) from Nordorthopaedics in Lithuania with my now repaired (Rotator Cuff)
I can't praise the complete experience highly enough.
Dec 2024, I ripped a hole in my scapula tendon, I saught a local private consultant, MRI & advise, only to face a minimum of a 5 year wait on our broken NHS, or get the surgery privately at + £10k cost to me....
Once I started looking around I very quickly came across Nordorthopaedics, after reading positive review after review and at a fraction of the cost, I reached out to them for my surgery.
From the 1st contact with the customer service representative (March 2025) to sitting here at home recovering (03 June 2025) they took me through the entire process step by step, from collection at the airport to my hotel, to the clinic, back & forward & back to the airport, it has been a faultless experience. All the staff and my consultant/surgeon (Valdemar Loiba) were friendly, excellent & professional. My surgery turned out to be more involved than previously discussed and after completion my surgeon explained every detail.
I would recommend Nordorthopaedics to anyone.
