Lovely Items, Atrocious Customer Service and Returns

Whilst their items are often (but not always!) lovely designs made with decent material, their customer service, and especially anything related to returns, is absolutely atrocious. By the way, please take note that the reviews on here that praise their customer service are poorly written and likely AI/bot generated; they don't feel genuine in any way.
It is almost impossible to return items, and even if you're lucky enough to be able to use the returns portal (powered by 'Shop', a completely mediocre tech company), they take forever to be processed, and in relation to a recent purchase I made, I had to get a refund via my bank.

Had to return an item

Had to return an item, which went missing en route back.
Customer service responded very quickly (within 24hrs) I was asked to wait a few days, so they could look into it and when they were unable to locate the missing return, they refunded me immediately.

Dresses arrived and the quality was not…

Dresses arrived and the quality was not as expected and the fit was awful so decided to return. Nowhere on the website does it tell you how much the return label will cost, just that there is a £4 handling charge per order. Upon being issued a refund they’ve deducted £9, so charge £5 for the return delivery on top of the ridiculous handling fee. Will not be shipping here again based on this alone.

Fantastic customer experience

I unfortunately had a parcel stolen and the customer service was brilliant and resolved asap - much appreciated and grateful for the fast and fair resolution. On a separate note, quality of the clothes is really strong and love all my pieces.

Rory provided exceptional customer…

Rory provided exceptional customer service throughout. Although my original order was unfortunately lost in transit, he was incredibly understanding, responsive, and went out of his way to find a solution that worked for me. When a replacement wasn’t going to arrive in time, he promptly arranged a full refund with no hassle. His communication was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. Thank you, Rory, for making a disappointing situation so much easier!

Bad quality items, worse customer service

Ordered two dresses recently directly from nobody’s child, unfortunately on first wear one of the dresses dye transferred everywhere and stained an expensive pair of shoes. I contacted customer services to see if I could get a refund or some sort of goodwill gesture due to the damage. Instead of being helpful the customer service representative asked me for an explanation on how a “flowy” dress could have made contact with my shoes. Absolutely ridiculous. These are not cheap items to purchase, I appreciate these things happen but to receive such an accusatory response from their customer services is disgusting. Will not purchase from them again.

I bought a dress in Windsor and needed…

I bought a dress in Windsor and needed to return, I live in Shropshire and was unable to deliver to the store. The nobody’s child team were very helpful, dress returned to the store by post, took a little bit of time but the money was returned to my account

I wish I could give this company ZERO stars.

I wish I could give this company ZERO stars. I recently placed an order for several items, and when it arrived, part of the order was missing. Since then, I've sent numerous emails asking for help resolving this and getting a refund, but I've had no resolution.

The communication from this company has been genuinely poor — slow, unhelpful, and dismissive of a straightforward issue. As a result, I'll be returning everything I did receive.

In all my years of shopping online, I've rarely dealt with customer service this bad. I'm significantly out of pocket and deeply frustrated by how this has been handled. Shame on you, Nobody's Child.

Disappointing

I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of a dress I purchased. I wore it only once and have not even washed it (dry clean), yet the fabric has already developed numerous pulls and snags. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard of quality.

To make matters worse, I had already contacted customer service because one of the detachable straps snapped. It’s very concerning that I’ve experienced multiple quality issues with the same dress after such minimal use.

Based on the fact that the dress has only been worn once and has never been laundered, I believe these are manufacturing defects rather than normal wear and tear.

I have contacted customer service and hope they will resolve this by offering a full refund or replacement. Until then, I can’t recommend purchasing this dress based on my experience.

Nothing ever fits not worth the price

Purchased items from nobodys child twice now and they've never fit right.
First was a top which I exchanged for a size 4 and the empire line still sat in a really odd unflattering place.
Today a dress arrived and I was hopeful it would be lovely but the polyester lace is scratchy and the side seam zip puckers when worn which is unsightly for a slip dress I look like I have a 3rd hip!
All in all I've lost £18 (in unrefunded delivery and returns service charges) over the last year to NC and I just dont see the point in continuing to shop from them
ALSO - you can't review an item on their website- so what are the reviews but bias collections from where exactly???

Refund

I bought a skirt recently from this company and unfortunately it didn't fit well. I paid £68.75 for this (which included £5 for postage!) , but they only refunded £59.75, as they charge £4 handling fee, which i found outrageous, so I've ended up spending £9 for nothing! Needless to say I will not be purchasing anything from this company in the future, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Josefa

It was the worst online shopping…

It was the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had, and I would never recommend this brand.

The product was not as described. It was much shorter than expected and far too big, so the size chart is clearly inaccurate.

Returns are at the customer’s expense. I requested a return label, but instead they only sent me return instructions, so I paid €29.99 for shipping. When I later asked to be reimbursed for the extra shipping cost, they claimed I could have used their prepaid DHL return label. I repeatedly explained that they never sent me one, I requested a return, and they only provided return instructions.

They argued with me over €12 for more than a month. In the end, I gave up trying to get my money back, but the whole experience felt dishonest and like a rip-off.

Avoid this brand.

Customer service assistance

I recently made an order online and accidentally entered an incorrect shipping address. I contacted customer services for assistance, sending an email at 19.24. I received a response at 19.27 (same day) confirming that the parcel would be redirected to the correct address once received back from Royal Mail. The item was received by the recipient today. The customer service was excellent.

Difficult to obtain a return label

Deleted confirmation email and was unable to obtain a return label. There is no live chat, just an email that no one answers. I guess they do it on purpose so that we miss the return date and get stuck with poor quality items.
Awful company. Will never order from them again.
