Great car, hybrid, with AndroidAuto full function.
The only downside, even with full insurance guy's looking for scratches and filling some useless formulaire.

This is our second time renting from NewWay, and probably the last time. Last year the TPMS light on our NewWay hire car illuminated, which led us to pull over on a busy highway. We “eyeballed” the 4 tyres; they all looked good. We drove cautiously to the nearest town where we went to a tire shop that graciously checked the tyres, found them actually OVERINFLATED!!! They adjusted the pressure to the correct value , and tried to reset the warning light, to no avail. They speculated that the tyres had been overinflated (possibly by the service department of NewWay) in an attempt to extinguish the TPMS light. They assured us that there was nothing wrong with the tyres themselves, and the car was perfectly safe to drive. Since we were many hours away from the closest NewWay centre, we didn’t return the car until the end of the rental period. When we returned the car we told them what had happened . There was no response other than thanks for letting them know. A modest discount, either on the rental we returned, or on our next car hire would have been a good business practice.
On our next car from NewWay the passenger window went down about 1/3 of the way, and then promptly quit, going neither up nor down. We had a 4 hour drive to return the car, which was not a pleasant drive on the motorway with the window down like that. When we returned the car, we told them what had happened. The NewWay rep asked the NewWay check in rep if there had been any signs that the window had been forced open! I told them that it had just stopped operating. Again, no apology or offer of any type of compensation.
We used NewWay because of their all-inclusive insurance policy. Next time we will use Enterprise or another top-tier agency and buy all their extra insurance policies.
It is interesting that NewWay asked us to post a review, but there is no means to send them a review directly. Obviously they don’t really care.

No car worries. Jump in and go. Car had bangs and scratches but didn’t mind. Didn’t have to worry about it. It ran great with no problems Ill rent again

NO Insurance Nightmare. Great quick efficient service but the best was the insurance none of the usual car rental nonsense - just straightforward full cover at a great price - unlike the poor woman I overheard renting at the next counter who was being asked if she would like windscreen cover as that was just another thing that was not included in her rental.

The claim was that giving our flight number a car would be waiting - it was the opposite - car was asked for when we arrived. We went to wait for it and 45 minutes later a different car was produced. It was fine. When we returned it then there were further problems as the contract had not been updated. I expected Newday to be different but basically they are Avis and not apart at all

We had a fantastic experience with NewWay Car Hire during our trip to Ireland. We rented a Hyundai i10 Automatic, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for navigating the country’s unique driving conditions.
If you’ve never driven in Ireland before, be prepared: the roads can be incredibly narrow, often lined with hedges and stone walls. Even with prior experience driving on the “wrong” side of the road (like in Japan), this felt like a new challenge. Choosing a small car made a huge difference, and having an automatic transmission made things significantly easier and less stressful. Trust me - both are well worth it.
What really stood out about NewWay was their transparency. They advertise full coverage, and that’s exactly what you get - no hidden fees, no pressure to buy extra insurance at the counter, and absolutely no upselling. The price you see when booking is the price you pay.
The return process was just as smooth - simply drop off the car and you’re on your way. No hassles, no surprises.
Overall, a straightforward, honest, and hassle-free rental experience. I would definitely recommend NewWay Car Hire to anyone traveling in Ireland.

Fast and efficient at desk in airport and collection point. Great car Toyota Yaris hybrid so low petrol usage

Very smooth process on arrival at the booth at the airport. The man behind the counter was very helpful given my mum is elderly and can't walk too far and found a car within the short term car part so we didn't have to get on the bus.
Only thing was the key fob was "low battery" which worried me a little throughout our trip but thankfully it was all ok. The car had lots of scratches on it so I took a video just to be on the safe side.
