Mysteriously "lost" return, refused refund
Returned a product, and never received my refund because I opted to use my own shipping label. Had to go through a whole claims system through USPS and weeks of negotiations with Newegg, where USPS determined that the package was properly delivered, but their warehouse team conveniently "lost" the package and now refuse to provide a refund.
EDIT Dec 10, 2025: As requested by Newegg, I sent them the proof of delivery and rejection of their claims with USPS, and they just gave me a canned response saying they weren't going to take responsibility for their theft. I followed the instructions in their return portal for the returns on my label, and it seems like it's just a convenient funnel for them to steal return packages and your money.

Joke of a service
Wanted to purchase a digital software product. Clicked to purchase. Told I have to create an account to buy a digital product. Created the account. Entered all of my details etc. Went to complete the purchase. Message: "Out of stock". They are quite happy to grab all of your information and only tell you *afterwards* that it is out of stock. Deleting an account requires you to practically beg them for permission by explaining "why" you want to do so. You type in the reasons and submit. You get a message telling you that your request will be processed only once your email is verified. The email verification message? Never comes through. This is a complete and utter shambles. I'll bet they will have no problems sending junk and spam email, though. Avoid.

They have an item up for sale at $7.99. You literally can't buy this item for that price. It will go to your cart for $18.99. This site is 100% a ripoff. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM NEWEGG.

terrible experience all the way. they have apparently nice discount but if you check on Amazon, the regular Amazon price is their discounted price so no advantage. Then the delivery is nightmare, it is just so bad, more than 12 days and 3 tentatives I still don't have my rig. So they offered a refund for the parts I did not receive. They have the guts to offer a refund of 00.00$, literally, for what's missing (200$ of components). Not a joke, they're serious. They would provide me a 0.00$ refund. Never ever using this website again

This company served me very well when l used them in 2016-2017. I was building a PC from scratch and was an amateur so l had to return one or two items to them. I insisted that they ONLY give me a PARTIAL refund for the trouble l caused them, but they REFUSED and gave me a full refund. I am only here writing this review now after all these years because l'm upgrading my PC and have now read some bad experiences being spread on the internet. I am wondering how genuine those bad experiences were, was it two people, one on the inisde, one posing as a customer, trying to crash the company? No, that would never happen right? I swear to God l have found this to be a decent company to deal with so far and l plan to upgrade my PC to be more of an art / graphics PC, by purchasing from them soon.

Let’s do the math:
(30×5) + ... + (60×1) = 210
210 ÷ 100 = 2.1
Even excluding 2-, 3-, and 4-star reviews for simplicity, you can see something doesn’t add up. Either the platform is using weighted averages that aren’t transparent, or it’s suppressing negative reviews. Either way, it casts doubt on the trustworthiness of the system itself.

Absolutely amazing
Absolutely amazing. Brand new laptop developed an error ar the first restart. I think his name was Chris. He set me in the right direction. It took 5 hours for the reset to complete. Way past his time to go home. I cut the call by my choice so he could go home. He gave me a call back today, Monday, July 7th as a follow up. He was/is great!!!

Anecdotally, Ive had a good experience so far!
I've taken the dive and gave Newegg a chance. After all the GN drama and even still the amount of negative light they've been getting I figured I'd give them a chance. I ordered a new Motherboard, ram, and a new PSU from a third party seller. So far so good, I haven't had any issues with these parts and look to continue to enjoy them for the foreseeable future.
