I had an excellent experience working with my Nesto mortgage agent Jeffrey Liu. He was incredibly humble, considerate, and communicated in a timely manner throughout the process. From the beginning, he made sure to help us secure the best possible rate and guided us every step of the way, ensuring everything went smoothly.

I truly appreciated his professionalism and support, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable mortgage assistance.

We were back and forth for months, communication was weak, requested to send documents to brokers email vs portal due to not being able to convert to pdf from jpeg was not accepted in portal, had to resend several documents we had to have someone come to the house twice for signing documents we almost were forced to re-sign current mortgage due to the lengthy process until 24hrs before due date, making things very stressful, we had to lose our tempers with the mortgage broker a few times during the process to get clarity on what was exactly needed from us many documents were sent multiple times, it was a lot of back and forth, my husband was told one thing then I was told another which confused us emails were not sent to us both the broker had my husband call our current lender to release the mortgage which they were confused by as that is not done until day of release and is up to lawyer, never had an issue in our past 3 mortgages, the mortgage broker did called my husband after the process to apologize offered a gift card for me to remove review (I have edited and sent response to NESTO) Company is from Montreal portal responses were only in French which was frustrating as we dont speak french, they removed the cost of the legal fees from our HELOC without our knowledge and before we had signed off on the documents (in the past this was always rolled into the mortgage so it came as a surprise) will see where this goes....

This company was fast, professional, knowledgable, great service! Karun and the team were awesome! Always on top of things and never made you wait. Thank you! It was a great experience and so nice to receive excellent customer service.

I had high hopes for Nesto at the beginning – they seemed helpful and responsive. Unfortunately, that ended the moment I became a client.

The service quickly turned disorganized and unhelpful. I was promised callbacks that never happened, left to chase down basic updates, and repeatedly ignored.

Nesto’s customer service operation is confusing, lacks accountability, and treats clients as if they’re disposable once signed on. Absolutely frustrating from start to finish.

Do yourself a favor and avoid Nesto. There are far more professional and reliable mortgage brokers out there.

So far I was dealing with George and William- both doing great job so far, explaining the steps and it was easy to communicate with them.
I will update my review when I get the mortgage and I will share my experience with them
But so far- so good.

The best part about working with Nesto was having a mortgage advisor like Karun! We especially appreciated how Karun spoke to us as though he cared about our best interests and was also very attentive to our specific needs and the details of our Nesto file. In fact, throughout this entire process of purchasing and moving into of our first home, Karun outshone any other person we dealt with along the way in terms of professionalism and friendliness! Very special thank you to Karun and a thank you to Nesto!

Jeff Liu was amazing from the very first conversation. He was patient and attentive. Other brokers were not willing to take on the deal due to very tight timeliness and competitive rate I was looking for. He worked some serious overtime and was always there to answer my questions. Thnx

I'm not sure if I just happened to get a dismissive broker at Nesto, but my experience with them has been horrible.
I was just told that Jeff C. is not willing to work with me because I won't fill out an application (I'm just after an initial ballpark number to determine who to follow up with). I'm comparing different brokers' rates and not prepared to have my credit score checked 5 times. I provided my financial information and asked for a quote based on the information given. I was refused and brushed off.
Perhaps he didn't like the prepared document I made requesting the best rates with specific questions about fees and terms.
He may have also not liked that my mortgage wouldn't have been huge. I'm guessing they make a % based on the total value of the mortgage.
FYI the 4 other brokers all took the time to answer all of my questions and provide the best rate based on my provided information.
Poor show Nesto.

Very upfront and beat the bank rates.
Took care of everything. My advisor was great - very fast to get back to me when I had questions.

We needed to secure a mortgage within a very short timeline and Jeffrey Liu helped us out immensely. He made sure that our file was prioritized and he was on top of communicating with us always. He ended up securing a very good rate for us within the limited timeframe we had. Our experience with Nesto has been smooth and pleasant so far.

Lowest rate, responsive customer service from knowledgeable staff. Easy to use portal for secure document submission. Promotional offers to offset the fees associated with switching lenders. Made the renewal process easy and cost effective.

I had been having a terrible experience with my "big bank" as I needed to weigh options to sell and buy new or renew my existing mortgage. The bank was just far too siloed to be able to provide analysis and just wanted to sell me a product.

A friend recommended Nesto and Jean-Pierre and he was able to help me break down the options and make a decision.

I would highly recommend!

When my bank advisor was incapable of understanding that my net pay is not my gross pay, and then proceeded to take three weeks to get the ball rolling on a mortgage - I gave up on them. Juan was fantastic to work with, was able to get things rolling in an afternoon. When droof of documents was becoming arduous, Juan stepped up and was able to guide me through several things to get final approval. Stephanie was also great to deal with, even if I was hard to deal with because I was stressed out of my mind. I simply will not be going back to my bank for a mortgage.

Communication is really easy. Karun.khanna is best broker. He helped me with mortgage and his guidance helped me with everything. Lastly no one can beat their rates

I was feeling overwhelmed by the process and was going to cave and stay with my banks mediocre rate but Jonathan L was the perfect amount of persistence and convinced me to go with Nesto.
