This is the fourth time I have been to Neilson Messini and it gets better each time I have been. Our main sport is tennis and thoroughly enjoyed it this time. Good team lead by Cam with a young team special mention to Louis who was very patient and helpful to us older players. We enjoyed the cameraderie of all the players. The food was lovely lots of choice and freshky cooked. Would definitely recommend Messini as talking to fellow holiday makers who have been to many of the resorts the concencus was that the Messini Beach club was the best Neilson resort.

For the price, the wide variety of sporting activities on offer & food , it is amazing value for money! Tennis coaching, yoga, aquafit, kayaking, sailing, cycling & pickleball means there is something for everyone. The beach is a short walk & the summers are plentiful! The staff go the extra mile & are friendlt& helpful at all times.

Beautiful location, facilities, food and sports. Prices still being held in drink and food areas but wanting to bring a family of 5 next year is hopeless as you virtually have to pay full prices to squeeze and adult child on the sofa bed.

Pros 1. Food is superb 2. Good eateries in locale for non inclusive nights 3. Drinks are not too expensive. 4. Staff are superb 5. Although we don't have children the "kids club" looked well run and very good. Cons 1. No basin in our room's toilet - you have to disturb other occupants of bedroom to wash hands. 2. No milk by tea area in restaurant in the afternoons 3. Website for booking (reserving) excursions was mainly in Greek. 4. Too few e-bikes and no bikes with really low crossbars for elderly women. 5. Less than ideal beach conditions for sailing. When there is a decent onshore wind there was always dumping shore break. Poor "beachies" had to work really hard in dangerous situations launching and recovering - they are brilliant! 6. The local area is blighted by rubbish along the roads and tracks - some of which has definitely come from the Neilson resort. Maybe there should be more visual reminders to the guests to respect the local environment and put litter in bins and recycle plastic rubbish - especially water bottles. 7. On our first evening, we watched the pool cleaner throw loads of crystals and gallons of chemicals into the pool. The smell of chlorine wafting over the bar area was very off-puting. I didn't swim in the pool at all because of worrying about the chemicals in it. 8. Most afternoons there was a really loud volleyball commentary - really spoiling the peace of the resort and any chance of enjoying our balcony in the late afternoon. Not everybody likes or plays volleyball, let alone wants to hear about it at a ridiculously loud volume!

Excellent resort, lovely location really friendly staff . Quibbles:- Sailing kit a bit tired at end of season and some activities fully booked before arriving in resort . Should be a Pickleball introduction session for people who have never played.

Lovely location and low rise accommodation well spread out. All staff are excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the tennis, cycling and stretch classes. Bar and restaurant staff couldn’t be too helpful. Alicia and Cam fantastic tennis coaches.

Excellent holiday, We have been many times to Messini.It is one of our favourite places. Food is good. The sailing is excellent and the beach staff do a superb job . In fact all your staff do an excellent job. You should be very proud of them. Thanks again for a great holiday, Arthur and Gill Edmunds,

The tuition is very good. The tennis coaching was the best I’ve had at a Neilsen resort ( been 15 times). I don’t like the booking app. If you are promoting an activity holiday you need to make sure activities are available for your quests. This will mean varying class sizes and additional personnel for different weeks of the year. During our week there were 250 more adults than the week before but the staff and activities were the same and they couldn’t cope with the demand. My wife couldn’t get in the stretch and relax as well as other activities. We most probably won’t go on another Neilsen unless you can guarantee spaces on the activities we want to attend. Might as well go somewhere cheaper.

Messini Beach Club has a lot going for it: excellent food, great activities, beautiful gardens, comfortable pool areas and some genuinely outstanding staff. We particularly enjoyed the e-bikes and sailing, and there was a great balance between being active and relaxing. However, the persistent sewage smell, tired-looking areas, bathroom layout and lack of privacy, limited access to the local area, and particularly the lack of communication around our late check-out meant that the experience wasn’t quite as polished as we had expected. Importantly, our experience at Messini hasn’t put us off Neilson as a holiday company. Everyone in our party would happily book another Neilson holiday, as we really value the active holiday experience and the range of activities they offer. However, based on our experience at Messini Beach Club, we wouldn’t choose to return to this particular resort.

Fantastic sports facilities with so many great options. The instructors are excellent and really friendly - they make activities great fun. The accommodation and food is good. And transfer times are short. A fantastic holiday and our second trip to Messini.

Good resort with lots of facilities and friendly staff. shares amenities with the Buca hotel next doo so can seem very big in terms of guests ( and staff ) went in a peak week which was a bit overwhelming for me.
