Extremely disappointing experience with Natuzzi Editions in Tustin

We purchased a very expensive, brand-new leather sectional from this store. After only a couple of days of normal use, we discovered that it was extremely uncomfortable to sit on.

I contacted the store immediately and asked whether we could exchange it for a different sectional. I even explained that we were willing to select a more expensive model and pay the difference. The store refused our request immediately and offered no meaningful solution.

For furniture at this price level, I expected the store to care whether the product was actually comfortable and satisfactory in the customer’s home. Instead, once the sale was completed, I felt that our satisfaction no longer mattered.

This was not a request for a refund simply because we changed our minds. We were asking to remain their customer, purchase another sectional, and spend even more money. Their refusal to work with us was extremely disappointing.

Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this location again and cannot recommend it. Before buying anything here, obtain the return and exchange policy in writing and make absolutely certain that the furniture will be comfortable, because you may receive little assistance after delivery.

I suggest considering the Natuzzi Italia showroom at 3309 Hyland Avenue, Suite E, Costa Mesa, instead.

Just spent an hour in the shop ordering my new sofa from John. A pleasure to deal with and an extremely nice man with lots of patients for an indecisive customer. Looking forward to delivery now and would highly recommend Natuzzi Editions.

Don’t ever buy furniture from Natuzzi Editions, particularly the Wednesbury outlet. If something goes wrong their customer service is absolutely abysmal. The company just doesn’t care and “buries its head in the sand”. Communication on their part is none existent.
We ordered both a 2 and 3 seater sofa in late December 2025 at a cost of nearly £6500. A month later they are delivered. We immediately noticed that the arm to the 2 seater sofa was damaged and that there were several imperfections to the fabric. It also came in 2 parts which didn’t fit together correctly. From this point we just asked for a replacement sofa.
The store was informed of the problems on the day of delivery and 10 days later an engineer arrived to carry out an inspection. His only solution was to steam clean the sofa and to take it apart to realign the fixing bolts. No mention of replacing the item. Please tell me why I would want a brand new sofa “repaired”.
Despite further contact with the store, Citizens Advice Bureau and Trading Standards we were getting no where.
In the end I decided to make a claim on my credit card under Section 75. As part of this claim an Independent Furniture Specialist report was carried out. The representative informed form me that the sofa could not be repaired and that it was poorly manufactured, probably in Romania.
During the claim my bank informed me that Natuzzi failed to respond to any of their communications.
Avoid this company at all costs as they are rubbish.

My wife and I have finally bought our dream sofa set through Ruhel at Brent Cross. It has been a long process as we have changed our minds multiple times and gone through many options. Ruhel was always patient with us and provided excellent customer service. Not only did he give us many customisation options but also some lovely input in the design and configuration of our purchase. We would thoroughly recommend Ruhel as his experience and knowledge is second to none.
