very unprofessional company with poor standards of workmanship

what a dreadful company i have had 2 repairs from this company[because my insurer insisted i use them]and both times they scratched my car Approximately 2 years ago i got damage on the rear left on mai y vehicle and these people repaired it recently i kept getting a puddle of water in the foot well in front of the rear passenger seat.jas i did not know the cause i took it to a local garage who ascertained that the work had not been carried out correctly EG nationwide had not sealed the repair correctly. They are [in my opinion ]incompetent careless with very poor customer service. If i have the misfortune to need accident repairs in the future i shall not use this inept company again

avoid southampton branch

Unfortunately my insurance company, privilege, only use this company for repairs to vehicles. This has been a bad experience from start to finish, no one answers the phones, calls you back as promised or seems to know what is going on. The repairs manager is rude, patronising and basically called me a liar when I had to return my vehicle for a 2nd time as it had not been repaired correctly.
All in all, for minor damage, it has taken a month for my car to be returned, I then had to ask my dad to complete the repair as it had not been done correctly and I couldn't deal with the hassle of returning the vehicle for a 3rd time.
The hire car they lent me was also filthy, smelt bad and was delivered with no fuel in it, I didn't even bother using it.
If your insurance company asks you to use this company please just save yourself the stress and ask them to use another company.

Do Not Let Them Near Your Car

Would leave a Zero star if I could. DO NOT let them near your car !
Four attempts to replace a windscreen, after they fitted it so badly we had water running through the electrics and an inch of water in the carpets. They are Hastings Insurance designated windscreen repairer.
Nationwide Customer Services are a joke, they would not pay for damage done by their technician. Three months without a penny or even an apology, we had to go to our insurer to get payment for repairs needed, our insurer paid us in full for the damage they had done. Stay away you have been warned!

Stay away from this unprofessional

Stay away from this unprofessional , poorly managed organisation which fails to deliver good quality service! My new car which had some scratches was painted terribly ( orange peal with hair stuck under the paint) , they messed the delivery day numerously, brought the car with half of the scratches not fixed! No one clearly cares about customer satisfaction and the quality of work provided! Amateur workshop would do a better job! I regret using Nation Wide Crash Repair and would like to prevent everyone from having the same disappointment !

Just one courtesy car?

Waited all day for a car pickup. I had to phone them at 4pm ish and was told a driver was on the way. At 4.15 I was told their courtesy car was damaged so couldn't be sent (apparently there only 1 I could possibly use). No acknowledgement of the inconvenience at all and now have to wait in another day.

Replaced sunroof and in doing so tore fabric in three places, trapped both seatbelts behind panels so both were illegal, dented metal rim around roof trim, left a cable hanging out from the window rim and put internal panel back on but not butting up to the one next to it.

Customer service absolutely dreadful - Littlehampton branch. Two weeks later and still no response to head office complaint I made.

Avoid poor workmanship

Car sent here by insurance company. Workmanship very poor, unsatisfactory repairs vehicle rejected 4 times resulting in the insurance company inspecting the repairs and agreeing that the work was substandard and have arranged for an alternative garage to redo the repairs, meaning the vehicle is off the road for another 2 weeks. Avoid not worth the hassle and stress.

ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER…

ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH !
my car was hit by another vehicle today and it was arranged to go to Nationwide repair centre Leeds, collection truck couldn't drop me off home, I had no money on me and my mobile phone was dead due to all the calls I had to make to arrange recovery, while nationwide accept vehicles being delivered to them up to 5.30pm they will not supply a courtesy car until the following day so thanks very much for the help I enjoyed my 4 hour walk to a friends house to borrow money for a taxi home in freezing temperatures starting at 4.30pm, being disabled and walking slowly with a crutch was beyond their understanding or compassion I suppose, they then have the absolute cheek to send an email that same day titled 'COMFORT LETTER' which states "as a valued customer we will do everything we can to minimize the inconvenience this (the accident) causes you" they couldn't care less about their customers and should be avoided at all costs if you value your own health. my car had better be absolutely perfect when its returned or it will be rejected immediately!!!!!!!

Pleased to be wrong!

I was so worried by all the bad reviews on here that I contacted my insurance company to ask for a different garage for the repairs to my motability vehicle. My fears were unfounded though (to which my insurance company assured me that they would handle any issues that may arise).

The Slough branch was excellent. They were patient with having to postpone the repair until my insurance company could find a suitable courtesy car. They kept me informed on the progress of the repairs via text message. Then brought the car back looking like it was in mint condition. Glad that they bucked the trend of bad service.

Awaiting repairs.

Awaiting repairs.
My keys were stolen, it's a mobility car. I have a courtesy vehicle.
However nationwide didn't have a clue where my car was, it was either in Swindon or Bristol. Then I have been told its up to two weeks for it to be assessed and fixed..
Spoke to the skoda dealer 1 1/2 hour job and even if nationwide fit the locks it still has to go to the dealer for coding.
They will lie to appease you but it is all lies. If you ring motability they will deal with them for you and get to the bottom of the problems. Basically they do a cheap job, they have more work than they can deal with.
Jack of no trades, when they say crash repair center. Parts replacement center they won't body fix anything, they can't no skills in any body repairs.. Look on the recruitment sights they are crying out for people, but no one wants to work for them..

Disgusting service, liars and use bully boy tactics.. USE WITH CAUTION AT YOUR OWN PERIL

If I could give minus stars I would

If I could give minus stars I would. This is the most unreliable company that I have ever dealt with. I will be asking my insurance company why they use this company. They have more excuses as to why they have not given the service they promise than I could think of. I am now on the fourth promise as to when they will return my car to me. It appears that if there is any delay on the motorways they do nothing, as if A roads do not exist to this company. My suggestion is you use ANY other company and save yourself a lot of hassle.

Would give 0 if I could

Would give 0 if I could, took a number of times to eventually sort out a date which they were supposed to be picking my car up, came to the day and no one showed! Rang 13 times and they couldn’t be bothered to answer the phone and when The admin named Tracey eventually did she said she’d ring back and then couldn’t be bothered So was yet again left to me to ring. Was arranged for the next morning and once again didn’t show up which I was actually happy about as i read the reviews on this awful company and so I rang my insurance and changed the repair company! Complete liars who can’t actually be bothered to deal with you and only want the money!

Top notch care from the Wallisdown, Bournemouth branch.

I really think that reviewers should state the branch or depot they are commenting on. I've just had my BMW 330 repaired at the Wallisdown, Bournemouth branch, and I very highly recommend them. I was with the assessor when he did the first inspection. He told me exactly what was likely to happen, advised on booking in and time scales. I was then updated regularly on progress and also when there was an unforeseen problem and delay, and, most importantly, the repairs were completed to a very good standard indeed. I was at all times treated in a very friendly and courteous manner. Thank You to ALL at Wallisdown Branch!

Avoid beware take it to your back street garage for better repairs

My vehicle as been back in to nationwide on 9 separate occasions and still getting wind noise coming thou the door which was supposedly replaced just waiting for managers to come to look at the car even after nationwide appointing independent engineers twice who both agree that this is still not repaired to standard
