I hired National Private Investigators to find an old school friend. We hadn’t spoken in over 20 years, but a birthday nudged me to try again. I called Jack in the morning. He explained what he could do, the price was fair, and he got to work. By the afternoon he’d sent me the report. I was stunned at how fast it was.

My wife was very recently on a business trip to London, and although British nationals, we currently live in Germany.

A situation arose that was incredibly sensitive and distressing for my wife when in The City, and needed a rapid response. In addition to some unknown 'moving parts', the situation involved a police and crime report, however given the realistic nature of the Met Polices resources and priorities, it was almost certain that the time critical issue we were facing would not be addressed.

I felt helpless, being in a different country, and contacted National Private Investigators via their Whatsapp contact function. It was a Sunday, so my expectations of a speedy response were limited.

However; I was completely wrong. I had summarised the issue in the message, and was contacted by the Managing Director in person. He told me he had read the situation, and understood immediately the need for a speedy interaction with the incident.

He gathered more detail from me, and reached out to his network, sourcing a highly experienced security professional, who specialised in the area of concern.

Details were taken, a plan was developed, people were mobilised, and things happened! The professionalism, knowledge base, and calming manner in which NPI dealt with this matter were nothing short of outstanding.

The issue was dealt with swiftly, discretely, and with military precision.

NPI are the absolute real deal.

They charged me a lot of money (which I don’t have as I’m a single parent) to then tell me they can’t find the person I was looking for. They assumed things as it was a person from a dating site and therefore just didn’t bother to look for them properly. Not everyone is a catfish or a scammer on these sites. I will find that person myself and then sue them. I have sued a well known American jewellery store and will sue this investigative agency as well. I will get the proof that will show how little effort they put into it. They also don’t know the law. Any vet can confirm if they have/ haven’t treated a dog, but are not allowed to disclose information about the owner. The agency told me something different which is false. They just took the money and did the absolute minimum. They didn’t even bother to look in Canary Wharf for a billing accountant. Don’t bother hiring them as they will let you down

UPDATE: in response to their response, here is information from the dating website: ‘photo verified means that a user has proven they are a real person and their profile photos are accurate’. There are 10k Croatians in the whole of the UK so finding 1 should be doable in a postcode.

Jack and his team were super supportive, responsive and quick in all communication.
I went through dozens of so called PI firms claiming they can help but did nothing but scam me of my money!

However Jack is and sounds exactly as he appears on his small YouTube clips. Polite, super good at listening never cutting me off once when I had the tendency of talking over the same points:)…
Only asked for a small deposit and made me feel really comfortable with my delicate case which has been eating away at me for the best part of a year.

I found my experience with NPI and Jack himself to be very disappointing. After hiring him once, I found him to be extremely unprofessional. He failed to show up for an agreed online meeting and never contacted me to cancel. It required countless emails and phone messages before he finally responded. Most concerning is that he ignored my repeated requests for access to my data, which is a clear breach of GDPR. I have now lodged a complaint with the ICO. I would not recommend his services.
