Krzys (Chris) at National Driving School is friendly, energetic driving instructor who taught me from my first lesson through pre-tests to getting my licence. He's patient while also giving detailed helpful feedback to accelerate improvement. I would unreservedly recommend him to any learner driver.

I just passed my driving test today on my 1st attempt and its all down to my amazing instructor in Carlow John Treacy. After contacting a few different instructors in Carlow and being turned away because I have a disability I was very deflated and it knocked my confidence. But when I contacted John he took me on without hesitation and I truly can't thank him enough. He showed so much patience and kindness and nothing was too much. He went above and beyond for me and I'm just so greatful to have had him as my instructor. 5 stars isn't enough for this man. A true professional and a gentleman.

I passed my test first go today in Dun Laoghaire all thanks to the help and support of Fergal! In a short space of weeks, Fergal squeezed me in to his very busy calendar and helped me go from a very nervous driver to a confident driver. He explained things very well to suit my specific learning style which is a rare find! I would recommend Fergal to anyone who's learning to drive. Each lesson was relaxed, broken up into manageable pieces, informative without being overloading and always full laughs! Cannot recommend or thank Fergal enough for giving me a boost of confidence!🥳

David Wilson was a fantastic driving instructor and I would highly recommend him to anyone learning to drive! He is incredibly patient, explains everything clearly, and always makes sure you understand what you’re doing rather than just telling you what to do. He really helped me build my confidence and feel prepared for my driving test.

He also thinks he’s very funny… 😂 but I’ll give him that, he definitely made the lessons more enjoyable!

Chris at NDS was exceptional! I only had one session with him the day before my test and I genuinely think it made the difference in me passing.

Very calm, honest and motivating. Incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. I felt so confident and comfortable walking in to my test. I only wish I got in sooner!!!

I recently did a driving mock exam with Thomas.
He was absolutely brilliant.
I hadn’t done any mock exams previously and wasn’t very familiar with the test area but with Thomas’s help I felt confident and prepared going into my test.
He was extremely patient and supportive. He answered all my questions and went over everything I needed to know.
With just doing that one mock exam, the day before my test might I add) I managed to pass my driving test.
I couldn’t recommend Thomas enough.

I passed my driving test in Naas this week. My main school was different, and I failed on my first attempt. So, I took some sessions with Conor Otoole. It was an excellent experience, and he helped me resolve many issues in a short time. I regret that I did not take sessions with him and wasted my money for nothing with an irresponsible instructor. Thank you, Conor, for everything.

I had Mick. I can't recommend him enough. Great instructor, patient, and explained everything perfectly for me to understand. To the point, I passed my test.

I passed my driving test after just a week of lessons with Fergal at National Driving School - despite not having driven in two years. I’m based in London but was back in Dublin for one week visiting home, so I needed an instructor who could get me test-ready fast, and Fergal completely delivered. What stood out most was how knowledgeable he is - he clearly has a deep understanding of the test, the routes, and exactly what examiners are looking for, and he used that to focus every lesson on what actually matters. He’s also a brilliant teacher: patient, clear, and great at explaining things in a way that actually clicks, without ever making you feel rushed or judged. On top of all that, he’s genuinely great craic to spend an hour in a car with, which made the lessons enjoyable rather than nerve-wracking and gave me real confidence going into the test. I’ve no doubt that passing came down to how good his teaching was in such a short space of time. If you want an instructor who’s knowledgeable, extremely skilled, and great craic, Fergal is exactly who you need. Couldn’t be happier - thank you Fergal!

I did a few lessons with Chris after my 12 EDTS to get me ready for my test. I couldn’t recommend him enough. He covers everything in detail and leaves no stone unturned. He is enthusiastic and very positive which helps you get into the right mind-frame for when you drive. He ensures that you pass and can drive safely. He is suitable for all levels of driving and i’d defo recommend going to him if your looking to pass your test asap

I had a great experience with the NDS and Fergal as my driving instructor. He is a great teacher who I would highly recommend. His manner always put me at ease during the lessons. He was always very honest with his feedback if there was anything I needed to work on, but he would always be so encouraging too. He has a great way of explaining driving concepts that makes them real easy to understand. He was always really interested in how I was progressing as a driver. Going into my driving test, I couldn't have felt more prepared thanks to the lessons Fergal provided. It made me feel really relaxed on the day of the test and I passed it first time around - because there were no surprises on the day thanks to Fergal. Would give 100 stars if I could!

Very impressed with the National Driving School! My son learned to drive last summer with Keith and quickly improved, becoming a confident driver. Keith was very flexible with lessons, and the length of time in which my son learned to drive was remarkably quick.

For his pre-test, we contacted Fergal, another instructor with the National Driving School, as I thought it would be good for him to have someone who didn’t know him to do the pre-test. Again, Fergal was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very patient, accommodating and encouraging and did a few pre-test sessions with him.

My son went into his test feeling very confident about the process and was delighted to pass. However, as a mother, what I’m most pleased about is that, with the help of the National Driving School and both Fergal and Keith, he has become such a capable, responsible and safe driver. That’s what gives me the greatest peace of mind, and I couldn’t be happier with the driving tuition he received.

Highly recommend Andrew as a driving instructor! I took lessons with him through the scheme for foreign licence holders, and he was professional, patient, and very helpful. He gave me great tips specific to my chosen test centre and helped me feel much more confident for the test. Not only a great instructor, but also a great person and friend. Thank you, Andrew!

I did a mock test with Clodagh the day before my driving test and it really put me at ease. She was so kind and helpful. She gave me tips and pointed out what mistakes to avoid all while instilling such confidence in me and without adding to the nerves. Everything was communicated so clearly and she answered all my questions. I’m certain that It’s thanks to Clodagh I passed the following day. I highly recommend booking in!

I had such a lovely experience with Chris from Dun Laoighre. He went above and beyond for me 🥹.
He really took time to understand me and how my brain worked and helped me pass my test!
He was very accommodating when renting his car for the test as mine broke down a week beforehand and squeezed me in when he could.
He really believed in me and helped me believe in myself. (I really thought I wouldn’t pass) but with his confidence and guidance he really helped me get through 🥹
