I chose ISM for their glowing reviews, but unfortunately didn't have the best experience. Booking my lessons was with the team in the office was great, they were friendly and accommodating.

My experience with my driving instructor was not great. They would shout at me while I was driving which created a really uncomfortable environment. They would also use their phone to text other students about bookings multiple times. It lead me to lose my confidence while driving.

I done all 12 lessons with my instructor Saad Ahmed. From the start to the very end Saad was calm, patient and friendly making my learning smooth and enjoyable. He explained things so well ensuring I understood what it was I had to do at all times. I just passed my test this morning, my first try, and i’m so thankful for Saad and all his guidance. We done a 2 hour pretest and it really stood to me! Thank you so much again for all the help and I would 100% recommend driving with ISM!

I recently completed my remaining lessons with Sarah from Mars Driving School and I have to say she was absolutely amazing. Sarah was so patient and kind even in stressful and tough situations. Sarah took the time to explain everything throughly! Sarah is very easy to talk to about the stress and nerves of driving and she is extremely positive! I can’t recommend her enough! Sarah is someone who goes above and beyond for her students!

Niamh is simply the best, I do not have words to describe her job. Thank you

I did my CPC module with Francis on Tuesday and I have to say he was fantastic. Some of the instructors would be boring and put u a sleep but Francis maclarin was the best by far.he well informed the class and had us all interacting with each other. Well done keep up the good work. Cheers .

I did my ADI Cat B training with ISM in 2025/26 and had Dave Malone as my instructor throughout the process. Dave has a wealth of training experience and knowledge about the different tests and imparts this in a clear and client oriented manner. The syllabus covered everything I was tested on, and Dave's attention to detail and demanding approach meant I was able pass all three stages first time. I would highly recommend Dave and ISM.

I have just finished all 12 of my lessons with Sarah and I had a great experience! She is patient and kind and I felt more and more confident after every lesson! I’m looking forward to booking my test and getting some practice lessons in with her in the future

My son recently did 2x2hr pre-test with a man called Aidan Berney he was amazing his feedback wS 10 out of 10 beside my son being a very good driver I honestly dob believe that the guidance and confidence Aidan had in him is a massive part of why he passesd I would highly recommend Aidan we are in the Louth area

Sarah was an excellent instructor, she was careful, patient and well detailed with her training. I would recommend her she is literally the best instructor.

I had a really positive experience with the Irish School of Motoring (ISM). From start to finish, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. My instructor, Ioan Padureanu, was patient, knowledgeable, and explained everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way, which really helped build my confidence on the road.
Lessons were well-structured and tailored to my level, so I never felt overwhelmed. Ioan was always encouraging and gave practical tips that made a real difference in my driving.
The booking process was straightforward, and communication was always prompt and helpful. Thanks to ISM and Ioan Padureanu, I felt fully prepared for my test and developed safe driving habits that I’ll carry with me long-term. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and supportive driving instruction.

Had David as an instructor while doing manual he was fantastic, moved over to automatic so I lost him as a teacher unfortunately but would highly recommend!

I was blessed to have Niamh as my driving instructor passed my test on the first go!
Niamh was so informative and patient with me while I was learning.
She makes you feel relaxed while you’re learning which was so helpful I was so nervous before getting in the car with her.

I’ve done all my driving lessons with Niamh Brady, who is certainly the best of the best and I couldn’t recommend more. She knows exactly what you need to know and how to teach you it. Niamh also helped so much with preparing me for my test day and ensuring I was confident and test ready. Thank you so much Niamh!

I did my lessons with Niamh Brady in Finglas and I can’t praise her enough. She has the perfect temperament to keep you calm and relaxed and she knows how to gently push you to build on your last lesson. Before my test I booked a few pretests with her and she really helped me over the line, making me more confident and pointing out some final things to be aware of. 6 months after my first lesson and I passed my test first time. Thanks again to Niamh, she’s a superstar!

My instructor Saad Ahmed has helped me immensely ever since I started doing my lessons with him. To say that he is a good instructor would be an understatement as I noticed a massive difference when I switched from my old instructor to Saad.

His calm and patient demeanour has helped me to stay relaxed while driving which is a big positive for me because usually I’m quite an anxious driver. After each pretest he pointed out my mistakes and my mistakes kept reducing after each lesson. My favourite trait about Saad was how simply he explained things to me. This made me believe that passing the driving test was actually easy and thankfully I passed on the first attempt thanks to Saad’s help. Could not recommend him more!!!!!!
