Horrendous as is anything to do with Halfords. Cancelled MOT booking and then fail to return prepayment within a week! Awful service and you can’t speak to anyone. They really don’t care

Been in here many times and never had a problem but today with a n as il in my tyre and needing a repair to a tyre they fitted 8 months ago I was told I had to make an appointment as 4!staff stood about doing talking with no customers in sight
I’ve spent a lot of money in this depot and was a bit pissed off but off I went to ACE tyres along the road the young guy said he’s busy but he’d deal with it and 30 minutes later all fixed and on my way so guess who’s my go to the company for our family that’s 5 cars national tyres puncture only by appointment ACE tyres are guys that care oh and by the way ACE are cheaper than national so save yourself money and bypass national
And now they want me to update my review with a booking reference number
I think they’re completely missing the point

Very friendly team. I had a prompt and efficient service. The car had a puncture and they could replace it on the same day.

Absolutely shocking service! Do not use this garage. Putting people's lives at risk! Car was in 12/02/24 for a brake check. Paid for new brake pads and discs to the back. Nothing advised for the front. Took my car to a different garage (17/05) as was concerned over my brakes. They said the car wasn't safe to be driven - front in terrible condition and back completely overheated. Contacted National Tyres and Autocare Falkirk and was told all staff had been sacked and the garage was shut down. It's reopened with 3 new employees (one coming from Stirling and one from Motherwell) to try and rebuild it and gain trust again. Was told the work would be done and costs covered. Previous mechanics who were sacked were referred to as a bunch of cowboys. Their own mechanic commented on the state of my brakes and that even with my mileage and time since checked it shouldn't have been in such a bad condition. Braking metal on metal. Both this garage and the independent garage said that both sets of brakes should have been done. The independent garage said they would have refused to do the back without the front as it was in a worse state. I'm now 6 days without my car and keep having to contact Halfords customer service for an update as no one has approved the work to the front brake pads and discs. The back brake pads and discs were fitted 18/05. You take your car into a garage and expect to leave with a roadworthy vehicle but not in this instance. Currently without a vehicle and unable to travel to my work location. Six days down and still waiting...
Thanks for leaving a reply but we're now 10 days on (now 27/05) and not once has anyone called me; dropped the ball and some! I've called in every day at least once and keep getting told the same, that it's been emailed to a manager and I'll receive a call. Only today (around 11:15 am I believe) was an email actually sent to the relevant manager. With three kids and working in a remote location this has been an absolute nightmare and resulted in me having to take 6 days off work and counting! Case number 23296825.
This certainly isn't building trust in customers affected by work done by personnel previously employed by Halfords. Good luck trying to rebuild this garage if it takes 10+ days to fit brake pads and discs and not one member of staff can contact the customer.

Won't be back, went in with 1 fault, came out with 10, tpm sensor fault, they said they could replace and reset fault light. Left with 4 valve caps loose ( a bit petty,I know), 3 out of 4 tires over inflated ( should be 32psi) to 37psi, tire with new sensor set to 47psi, also a cross threaded broken wheel stud, which when I took it to a different garage, said it looked like they had tried to glue it back on. Original fault still there's they didn't have an obd diagnostic tool to reset fault. Extremely badly trained Con men .

Had my car here a few times but won’t be taking it back again. Had my car booked in for a service in December. Got an attitude from one of the staff then asked them to check something else I felt was wrong with my car but they didn’t bother doing that either. Got told I’d need new brake pads the following month so phoned up then got made out to be a liar from the manager with the quote I originally got given from him whilst picking my car up from my service. Took my car to another Halford garage and they let me know that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my brake pads and they were perfectly fine to still be on. Wasted £280 at National Tyre for a service and they can’t even do their job correct.

It was relatively simple to find and order the tyres I required.
The only issue I had was when trying to utilise the 10% discount offer apparantly it did not apply to the brand I required. This could have been made clear before i ordered the items. I may have looked at another brand

Recently I had a bad experience due to online booking problems and due to this scored poorly.
However the guys in my local centre were amazing, friendly and managed to accommodate a tyre fitting same day after the booking problems.
Would absolutely recommend the service and the friendly banter but maybe call or drop in to make appointment.

Best price online for the Goodyear eagle F1 suv for my X3 I could find and because I purchased 4 I got 15% off. Easy to use web site as well and the 0% interest payment plan helped as well. Overall very happy.

I bought tyres for my daughter who works for care in the community company and you offer 10% discount but on buying could not use above discount on 2 tyres?

Iturn up to get four tyre and alignment on the day booked and the tyres are not at the depot. I have to reschedule and waste another valuable day off. I turn up a second time and have now been waiting 2 hours and fifteen minutes in an insufferably hot room for the work which is not finished. Customer facilities are rubbish the toilet is disgusting. No customer service here no apology at any point.

Had to ask for receipt told E mailed but no email
No record of detail of tracking
Found an alloy trim in my boot later that day, I called to asked why not put back on and was told new tyre type it wouldn’t fit, so I then advised the other side was on ? Reply oh !! Then found the other trim wasn’t on properly anyway , so now I will need to have my tyres deflated and rims added back on.
The service at Falkirk isn’t as good as other garages or its other branch Stirling national tyres they were helpful.

I’m sure the lads at Falkirk are nice guys, but as a business owner myself the staff need to work on their customer skills.
I wasn’t the only one in moaning !

The dust caps (2) on the tyre valves were not replaced.
