Pool looks dated but , it’s not bad if you can get room down the deep end so I tried the Adult swim at an earlier time slot for quite a few months but ended up giving it a miss due to a bit too many people in a small area . Once again if you are lucky to get a bit of room for a proper swim you will be alright , unfortunately there are a group of Women that congregate at one or both ends that just talk to each other , rather annoying that is . The website times needs to be adjusted as Sunday Adult swim is no more since January and it’s now August .

Superb range man at hatchford brook .i think hes a marshall forget his name ? Dave i think .we had a great time and the lady on the desk was realy nice .never been before or played much golf .we will certainly visit again .thankyou

Nice to see that cocksmoor wood golf course have a head green keeper that knows how to use a mower.The improvement over one month is unbelievable putting Daves work right which he took a lifetime to ruin .Back in the 90s it was the best course in the Midlands I hope they keep the new green keeper and bring it back to the best in the Midlands once again.I hope mytime read these reviews and spend some well deserved money on this course.

Pipe Hayes, Boldmere, Hatchford Brook, Cck's Moor Woods all Golf courses are in shockingly poor condition and for £34 ridiculous price, when we know and do now play well maintained private courses at the same times, for between £20-£28 !!

I've been paying senoir rate with mytime golf for the last few years, I am 66yr old now so officially a senior...but according to mytime I've now got to be 67. It is my view that the new pension age should apply to those who at at 67 get there state pension, not those who are already pensioners.

The place is the best in Bromley for swimming!
But the water is freezing lately making my muscles tense and tired very quick !!

In regards to Pype Hayes Golf course, I’ve had the unfortunate experience of watching this company deteriorate under its new management. What was once a positive and collaborative environment has quickly turned toxic. The new management seems to have a clear agenda of pushing out long-term, dedicated staff members, even resorting to underhanded tactics to try and get them fired. Once the original team member left amicably instead they were told they were no longer welcome due to personal discomfort caused by the new leadership.
Even more concerning is the recent appointment of a new manager, who has been accepting cash at an alternative golf course they were in charge of previously a serious issue that has yet to be investigated. This raises red flags about the company’s lack of oversight and accountability. It’s disheartening to see that instead of addressing this troubling behavior, the company seems to be turning a blind eye and supporting the new management’s actions.
This is not only unprofessional but also unethical. It’s clear that the company values loyalty to the new manager over fairness, transparency, and common decency. If you're looking for a company with integrity and respect for its employees, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Filthy, stinks , gym over crowded with kids and the smell of cannabis. Staff are immature, young, clueless and rude. Management don't respond to incident reports and zero remedies happens. The spa Beckenham is a health hazard and an accident waiting to happen. Completely overpriced and members struggle to use the facilities especially the swimming pool. It's always booked for clubs. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Staff are kids that just hang around looking lost and always on their mobiles giggling.

Boldmere. Not in bad condition, thanks to the efforts of the ground staff. But it’s now £18 for seniors, per round and £24 for adults. It has limited facilities, with no changing rooms and is, after all, only a par 62. I can play local, private club courses for similar money, with top notch facilities. Of course, asking MT to justify the price increase is like trying to knit fog!

At Beckenham Spa the shower room is untidy, the water in the shower is oily, sticking on the skin,very strange! The women changing room has cold air blowing in despite the temperature being zero degrees. No consideration at all to the gym users. Sometimes the gym is too crowded. The management should bring back the "booking" system at least for the late afternoon and early evening.

I'm not sure how else to try to effect change other than to publicly shame Mytime Active here - emails sent direct to the management and the submission of countless suggestion forms have made absolutely no difference! You need to heed your customers - your wet-side changing rooms are absolutely filthy, as so many reviews here attest. A fortune has been spent on another gym upgrade and monthly membership has increased again, and yet swimmers are being treated like second-class citizens. Were it not for your excellent aqua fit teachers, I'd take my custom elsewhere. Stop expecting your young lifeguards to do the job of professional cleaners and let them concentrate on the job they're trained to do!

Went to the soft play at the Spa Beckenham. What an absolute horrendous experience it was.
The staff were completely rude and uninterested in anything, let alone when asking about prices. They spent the whole time in their mobile phones, heads down and oblivious of anything going on.
An overpriced and filthy place, will be avoiding at all costs!!!

I have been using Beckenham Spa gym and pool for years, even prior to Mytimeactive, and really appreciate having the facility there. The gym is pretty good I have to say but the reason for this low star rating is the wet side changing rooms. The showers and changing area are absolutely and disgustingly filthy. New flooring was fitted two years ago and I don't think its been cleaned since. Hairs and scum in the showers. Many of us have complained to the manager but nothing happens. Apparently the life guards are meant to clean the changing rooms. Personally I think it would be better to have cleaners cleaning the changing rooms.

I've been playing golf at various mytime courses in the Midlands for years. I played Pype Hayes on 11th of May for the first time this year (they've only recently reopened the back 9). The course was in an awful state; tee boxes where a mess, fairways had sections that were unmown, 1st cut of rough was too long, bunkers were mostly GUR and those in play were in really poor condition. Greens where too long; very slow and had many bare patches. Not what I expect when paying £29. On a positive note, my prematch bacon and egg bap was very nice. Suffice to say I'll be playing elsewhere unless conditions improve considerably or the price is appropriate for the condition (£10 at most)

Try calling these clowns…..What a shock they are still going. As for the rest of this lots dire ratings …probably run as a TAX LOSS! Just calling these clowns now and put on hold….and hold…and hold! Be aware and avoid at all costs!

Shocking experience with swimming lessons. 18 cancelled in 3 months. Utterly unbelievable. I wish I hadn't cancelled their previous lessons.

ON ENTRY
They run a cashless system, so no change available but you need a pound for the locker or a token, but they don’t have any tokens!

The place is absolutely filthy, thick grime, gunk and dust all around changing area and showers. This is not recent dirt, looks like it hasn’t been cleaned properly in years. So completely run down, dirt all up the walls, doors, chipped paint, broken doors. How can it be left to get in such an appalling state? Even the staff were saying how disgustingly dirty it is and other people had complained the same day.
Hundreds of children use this pool every week, it is a health hazard.
It used to be a lovely centre. The only reason they are getting away with it is there is no alternative. This place needs a serious inspection. Unbelievable.

The new high elms golf course management team have restricted access to some of the holes on the back nine for over a month and closed the front nine for the last two weeks (Nov/Dec 23). My complaint sent over a month ago and again a week ago requesting an explanation as to why they have done this has been ignored as has the request for a refund on the annual subscription due to the closure. They don’t care about their customers

Swimming coach dragged my neurodivergent granddaughter the length of the pool after she refused to leave. shouting at her as if she was an animal in a very public way. I have no option to defuse the situation and my granddaughter was Triggered into fight or flight mode. The treatment did not comply with safeguarding and I will be reporting this to the appropriate authorities.
