I was having trouble logging in to my account turned out I had about 3 Florin sorted it out for me she was patient with me as I’m not very good with all the technical stuff, florin took me threw everything step by step she was absolutely brilliant 🤩 so now I’m well on my way making my family tree and loving it. So thank you florin you are a superstar x

The phone contatc was polite and efficient He did his besst to help me in spite of a rigid policy that would not allow me to cancel a subscription immediately that I became aware of an automatic renewal
To say I was notified year ago is not a satisfactory excuse
It would have been helpful to be notified of the renewal two days ahead of time .
The impression this leaves with me is that My Heritage does its best to keep taking money for subscriptions while using a bogus claim that the client had been notified....profit before service.

Sneaky, underhanded business practices. Second year in a row they more than doubled my subscription rate. They do not send an invoice prior. I do not recommend.

Adi was an excellent customer service representative! He immediately understood my issue, offered several solutions, and I ended up more satisfied with my subscription than before I spoke with him. He’s an excellent representative of your company and you’re k cut to have him!

I can find most information I look for but h a very been disappointed when I ask your sales team how to buy online certificates from your web site.unlike Ancestry who have a pop up to buy.
I have been unable to get past the most looked up relative as obviously there is no trees with this information for you to pass on.

### My experience with MyHeritage

I took the MyHeritage DNA test and, after about six weeks, I finally received my results. The problem is that, once the results arrived, I discovered that practically all the useful information is locked behind the Premium subscription.

You pay for the test, provide the company with extremely valuable data about your own genetics, and in the end, the free result is basically just a map showing an ethnicity estimate. To access features that I consider much more interesting — such as DNA Matches, more detailed ancestral origins, population-based analysis, Y-DNA, and other advanced tools — you have to pay for a subscription that can cost as much as £109.

The whole experience made me feel misled and exploited. The business model seems to be: you pay to provide the company with extremely valuable genetic data, they store that information, and then you have to pay again — and quite a lot — to actually get meaningful information from your own results.

For me, an ethnicity estimate alone does not justify the price of the test or waiting six weeks for the results. If I want to actually explore my results and understand my possible genetic and ancestral connections, I encounter a paywall at practically every step.

Overall, I found the experience extremely disappointing and, for me, a complete waste of time and money. I expected to receive useful information from a test I had already paid for, not to discover that I would have to keep paying to access practically everything that makes the test interesting.

It would be nice to be able to get lists, like a family group or descendants , they way ROOTS MAGIC.

I’m still not happy with the automatic renewal charge, which was more than three times what I originally paid last year. I’m also not particularly happy with the discounted price. The only reason I accepted the offer was the exceptionally professional and helpful service I received during the phone call. That experience alone convinced me to renew for another year at this higher price.

I love that I am given details of matches found between my own family tree and others on My Heritage showing examples of the same people appearing on both trees. I have confidence in these connections, enough to introduce them into my own tree without having to do all the research.
