Finding a reliable moving company these days feels like playing the lottery. Our experience with Move Safe started on a high note—excellent customer service, clear communication, and a seamless booking process. But by the time our move was complete, the entire ordeal had turned into a frustrating mess.

Here’s the catch: Move Safe isn’t a moving company. They’re an aggregator—essentially a broker that connects you with actual movers. While their service is top-notch when you're dealing directly with them, the moment they pass you off to a moving company, you're at the mercy of whoever they’ve chosen. And that’s where things can go sideways.

In our case, we were assigned a mover located nearly 250 miles away. They started strong with a professional and fairly efficient packing crew, but everything fell apart after that. Delivery dates were missed, talk about refunds rang hollow, and to make matters worse, the company subcontracted the final leg of the journey to another mover from New Jersey. That crew sent just two workers, who arrived with a beaucoups of damaged items and left us with a cracked sidewalk.

By the time the dust settled, Move Safe’s role in the process was basically over. Neither of the moving companies took any level of decent responsibility, leaving us looking down the barrel of a nightmare of damage claims and dead-end conversations.

So, should you use Move Safe? Maybe. Just go in with eyes wide open. If luck is on your side, you might get a solid mover. If not, you could end up in the same mess we did. Consider yourself warned.

Enployee who’s named after jeans with MoveSafe Relocation was so rude and condescending! He said "are you paying this deposit or not" while I have already expressed I needed a PDF not a copy of an email to submit as an expense for work. That guy literally sucks and is the main reason I said to cancel the quote and I'd rather use someone else. Goodluck getting people to use your service while dealing with a rep like that.

The customer service representative and movers were very courteous and responsive. Movesafe is a brokerage that finds you the best moving company that meets your personal and financial needs, whether you are moving in-state or out of state. Make sure you understand and know whether you require the entire truck or just a specific square footage for your belongings.

I had Movesafe broker my move for January 2025. As part of this process, I provided their sales rep with images of everything that I was moving. The sales rep put together and estimate of 1100 cubic sq feet. Some of my items were missing from his estimate, but there was also additional of other items. I pointed this out and was told that it would balance out. Come moving day and the moving company documented that I have 1550 cubic sq feet of items to move. That's a 40% increase over the estimate. This resulted in an additional ~$1500 in unexpected costs for the move.

While I understand that it was only an estimate, being 40% off is too far off. I contacted Movesafe and had them do a review. They took no accountability for the actions of their sales rep and offered a small $150 rebate. This is absolutely unacceptable. Their sales provided the estimate based on the images I sent and was still somehow 40% off. They should have taken accountability for this.

This was the first time shipping a car. We were anxious but Leroy and Michael at Movesafe were very knowledgeable and helpful! They are definitely honest. When they couldn’t secure a transport for the contracted price, they actually ate the extra amount themselves! I would definitely use them again.

Worst experience ever! I was quoted $14K for a move from Washington State to Colorado. The final bill was over $35K! The move team was made up of Armenians who spoke little to no English which made it almost impossible to communicate, in that my Armenian is extremely limited. The household goods arrived over 2 weeks past their delivery contracted date and numerous articles were broken. In spite of their horrible service we are finally moved into our new home and the move is now just a distant nightmare.

They held onto our stuff for over a month and a half and everytime wed call for an updated we were lied to and told that a driver was assigned and they were two days away, This was a lie and we have been stuck waiting almost two full months now without the majority of our belongings. Move safe is just a broker who gives your file to a bunch of different moving companies and gives you the cheapest bid then basically forgets about you. Do not ever use this company, I wouldnt recommend it to Hitler himself.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Bait and Switch at its finest! I spoke to the rep, had emails, and texts giving me a sense of trust and security. The quote based on my inventory quickly tripled after my things were loaded. They sent a truck that already had items, so all of my things wouldn't fit! I legy so much behind!I was told 5 to 7 days for my delivery. It is now Dec 30th and I have no idea where my things are. They were loaded Dec 14th,2024. I cannot get communication! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Stephen made sure I was prepared for the move, and the movers were professional and efficient. The only small issue was that one box had a torn corner, but nothing inside was damaged. Overall, I'm happy with how it went.

Due to a sad family medical emergency we had to cancel a day after signing our moving paperwork agreement with Movesafe. We were very impressed with Andrew Ricci's understanding with whom we dealt with initially and later with Matthew Ricci. Andrew was very professional and patient with all my questions.

The quote went from $6748 to $14,859 TO $24,300 the day of the move!!!
They were supposed to provide two 26ft. trucks...only one showed up, another was rented from Ryder. It was an all-day event from 8am to midnight!!!
I called on several occasions to let them know that one truck would not be enough.
The day of delivery I got a call from the ILLIONIS State Police letting me know that the truck was being detained due to improper paperwork.
And, now when I call they don't answer phone!!! It goes right to a recording...waited 22minutes the other night.
Also, the final payment was to be made in cash!!! no check or credit card!!!

they will use the great deal tactics over the phone to get you to put down the deposit asap, but the real price will be about 4-5x the quoted amount.

Overall I had a good experience with move safe. Very nice and got right to work. Very happy with everything

I used Move Safe Relocation for my recent move. The team was polite and professional, and they handled my belongings with care. However, the delivery was delayed by a couple of days, which was inconvenient as I had to adjust my schedule. Overall, the service was decent, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of punctuality.

I recently moved from Chicago to Seattle and hired MoveSafe Relocation after reading positive reviews online. From the start, the process was smooth. The quote was straightforward, and I appreciated the transparency throughout.

On moving day, they arrived right on schedule and were friendly and professional. They handled my stuff with great care, wrapping everything securely to avoid any damage. I appreciated their efficient teamwork, which made the day go by quickly.
When my stuff arrived in Seattle, everything was in perfect condition, and they even helped me arrange my furniture. Overall, my experience with MoveSafe Relocation was excellent, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy moving company

I had a good experience with the movers. They arrived on schedule and came well prepared. They were strong and fast workers all while being careful with fragile items. They were able to lift heavy items with ease. This service saved me a lot of time and labor.

Do NOT give this company a dime of your money. As if moving isn’t stressful enough in itself, Move Safe made it an absolute nightmare.

MY husband and I booked Move Safe at least two months ahead of our move. They said we needed to give them a two-day window because we were moving from GA to NC, but said they’d confirm the day they’d move us and our stuff at least a week before hand. It would be Saturday or Sunday. We were quoted around $2000.
A week before the move comes. We have heard nothing. My husband calls and they say they still don’t know. Then, they say that they if they pick up our things Saturday, they might not make it there until Monday (it’s less than a 4 hour drive). Obviously that was not going to work because we need our things to live with, sleep on, our pets’ stuff, stuff for work on Monday etc. my husband finally get ahold of someone else, who says they actually will get it there Sunday if it’s picked up Saturday. What time would they come Saturday? Still couldn’t tell us.

Finally, at 5pm on Friday my husband calls again (because nobody called us to update us) and we were told they’d come Saturday between 12-5pm. Fine, we thought. That will give us time to bring the pets to a friends house, and pack and move the smaller items in the morning ourselves.

7am Saturday, we are awoken to someone who barely spoke English saying they were 15 minutes away. 5 dudes in no uniform or anything arrive in a rented uhaul and demand now is they time for them to take our stuff . Since I did not have time to drop our pets at a friends house, I told the movers not to leave the door open as we have a cat who I couldn’t find. They did not listen, my cat got out, I looked around the neighborhood for an hour for her only to return to two of the “movers” SMOKING CIGARETTES IN THE UHAUL WITH HALF OUR STUFF. “They must be done now” I thought. Nope. I went inside and there was still tons to move .

They were rude, careless with our things, horrible at communicating, and then charged us DOUBLE what they quoted because there was the stuff that we’d planned on moving ourselves, but didn’t have time to because they came early. Half of our kitchen dishes and mugs broke btw.

EVERYTHING about the experience was horrible. When we contacted MoveSafe, they finally agreed to refund us $100 out of the $4000 ONLY IF we signed an NDA saying we can’t leave a negative review. Well, SCREW YOU MOVE SAFE I hope nobody else has to experience what we did

Move Safe is a scam. They are a middleman. They are in cahoots with Four Season Movers. STAY AWAY FROM BOTH ,unless you want to be charged double
When they damage your furniture they pass you on to third party ins company. They make it so difficult to put a claim in . Furthermore ,beware and count all boxes and items in each. They lost two boxes and was told since I packed them its my problem.
I already contacted the states attorney . I suggest others do the same . They need to be shut down!!
