Movesafe needs to be honest! I signed a contract showing the cost of the move and it was fraud. After going thru an exact inventory of what would be on the truck, when the brokered truck showed up I was told Movesafe had the cu footage wrong so my cost at pickup and drop off were more than twice as much as I was told it would be. Three pieces of furniture were damaged and two 80 qt containers were not received. Movesafe must pay people to post good reviews because they were horrible and unethical.

UPDATE: The company contacted me and offered compensation in exchange for removing this review, apologizing for the poor service my family and I received. While it appears this may be the only way to recover some of our losses, I feel it's more important to share my experience so others can make an informed decision. Customer beware - it makes sense now why they magically have 4.5 stars!

My family and I moved from Charlotte to Nashville in December 2024, and this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with any company.

We were initially quoted approximately $2,500 after I carefully provided a detailed inventory of our belongings. However, when the movers arrived, the cost suddenly increased to nearly $8,000, with a significant portion expected to be paid in cash. The movers themselves were polite and professional, but they informed us that this situation happens frequently because MoveSafe operates as a broker rather than the actual moving company.

After the move, several items were damaged, including our couch, crib, computer monitor, and other household belongings. I submitted a claim and waited approximately four months for a response, only to receive a settlement offer of $145, which did not come close to covering the damage.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend working directly with a reputable moving company rather than booking through MoveSafe. The low initial quote was not representative of the final cost, and the claims process was disappointing and frustrating.

Save yourself the stress, unexpected costs, and poor customer experience—do your research and consider other options before booking with MoveSafe.

The problem with this company is that when you call for a quote, the representative is focused solely on making the sale. To do that, they’ll give you a low initial estimate without disclosing some very important details.

When the movers arrive, they will demand more money, citing unexpected fees like charges for carrying items to the elevator. These extra costs are not mentioned upfront.

Another major issue is the lack of a guaranteed delivery date. Your belongings are taken to a warehouse and held until the truck is full, which means you could be left waiting indefinitely. This lack of transparency can seriously disrupt your schedule and cause a chain reaction of problems in your daily life. They say it can be one week, 30 days, is up to them. and you can`t call a person, since is not even the same driver that pickup that will deliver to you.

I’m not here to judge their business practices, but I can say that failing to inform customers properly leads to stress and inconvenience—especially when you’ve already paid a deposit and are up against a deadline, with no time to find another mover. With more transparency things could be better arranged.

Be very careful with this company.

As a home-based baker and chef, I was really nervous about moving my kitchen setup but MoveSafe Relocation exceeded my expectations! The team was punctual, professional, and handled all my baking equipment with great care. My ovens, mixers, and delicate tools arrived in perfect condition. They even took extra time to ensure everything was securely packed. Thanks to them, I was back to baking in no time. Highly recommend for anyone with specialized equipment!

What impressed me the most was the incredible customer service. Every call was answered quickly and politely, and the team was always happy to help. I felt supported throughout the entire move. It’s clear they care about their customers not just getting the job done, but doing it right.

Movesafe Relocation is a complete fraud. They operate solely as brokers, meaning you pay a significant amount of money for them to do essentially nothing.

A major issue arose when I updated my moving list days before the actual move. Movesafe was supposed to relay these changes to the moving company, but they failed to do so. Consequently, the movers arrived and began meticulously counting every small box, even for a studio-sized move. It felt like a deliberate game.

Ultimately, I was forced to pay an additional $500+ on top of my initial payment for a mere 300-mile move. When I attempted to address this with Movesafe's customer care, I was met with unhelpful attitudes.

I am not a paid reviewer. My advice is to avoid Movesafe if you're looking for an honest business. These individuals are nothing short of scammers.

I have made 10+ moves in my life and must say that none were as traumatic as the MoveSafe experience. My move ended up costing almost double what they originally quoted me, and I didn't even move some of the larger items I had intended!! I was not aware that they are a BROKER only (my fault for not enough research) and sub out the work to other companies. Communication was nearly non-existent once the initial agreement was signed and payment made. When my household goods were finally delivered, some boxes were wet and crushed. There was a single person to unload my goods. There was a LOT of breakage of my items. and other items are missing. When I've reached out to them for assistance the response is they're waiting on information from the third party. I would not use them again

Move Safe Relocation in Texas delivered an outstanding service during my recent move. The team was professional, punctual, and handled all my belongings with care. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend them for anyone in Texas looking for a reliable moving company.

We were directed to Jackson Movers by MoveSafe Relocation Services in Florida for a move from Dallas to Bend, Oregon. The original price quoted by MoveSafe was just under $4,200. The move ended up costing just under $14,000. That was lie number one. The pick up of our goods went fairly smoothly. We were told that our furniture, which was picked up on April 11th, would be delivered by April 16th. It was delivered two weeks later on April 29th. That was lie number two.

Getting information from MoveSafe as to the whereabouts of all of our worldly possessions during that time was akin to finding out who would be the next Pope. We were also told that since we paid additional funds to "buy" the entire truck, that the truck was ours and that would not be shared with any other items. That proved to be the third lie. Our goods were taken to a warehouse in Dallas, loaded onto another truck with seven additional deliveries, the first of which was in Chicago, which from a geographic standpoint is northeast of Dallas some 900 miles, so there was no way our furniture would show up by the 16th.

When the furniture did show up, it was delivered by two gentlemen who seemed to be rather upset that we were in a two story house, although that was clear from the paperwork. It turned out that they were from another moving company which indicated that Jackson brokered the move to a third party which was not disclosed to us. That was lie number four.

During the unloading the movers received another call that they had to make another pickup that same day and the unloading of our goods became a rather haphazard affair with them placing boxes that we had clearly marked by room wherever they found space. We also ended up having to assemble the beds. We attempted to keep an inventory of boxes as per the list that was generated when the goods were picked up, but the way the movers were working towards the end that made it impossible. We lost 10 boxes in the move and my road bike was damaged.

During the whole process I would say that the degree of empathy exhibited by the staff at MoveSafe was somewhere around zero. We had to buy furniture and cookware just to make our new home somewhat inhabitable.

MoveSafe could start the process by explaining exactly what is going to happen during the move and what to expect. There seemed to be a new surprise (and not good surprises) every day and they were less than helpful in explaining what was happening. We were living in a home with nothing to sleep on or cook with for two weeks and their standard response was that they were within the prescribed time window. That was not helpful.

Move Safe Relocation provided great service overall. The movers were skilled and worked efficiently to get everything done. They took care of fragile items, and nothing was damaged during the process. The only hiccup was a minor mix-up with the paperwork, but it was quickly sorted out. I appreciate their professionalism and attention to detail and would recommend them to anyone planning a move.

If there were negative stars, MoveSafe would get -10 stars. This company has lied and deceived my husband and I since February 2025. I was assured they were the moving company. Nope. They are brokers. They stole $4000 from us to make a call to a sub contracting moving company. As soon as this move began going away, all communication ceased. No calls. No texts. Our move date was March 29. No body showed till March 30. Then we are told THEY are the moving company (there will be a review by company name shortly). And they want $5000 more to move us to Georgia. Still zero contact from/ with MOVESAFE. To date it is day 22 with no belongings. Our life is in the back of the MIA truck and nobody seems to know where that truck is.....Do not trust this company.

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with this MoveSafe Relocation. On the initial call, I was quoted $3,900 for an 800 sq. ft. move and paid a $1,295 deposit. Everything seemed straightforward at first. However, about a week before the move, I spoke with a representative to go over the exact same inventory list I had previously provided — and suddenly the price jumped to over $15,000.
Understandably shocked, I asked to speak to a manager. I explained the situation and expressed my desire to cancel, especially since the original representative had told me the deposit was refundable. Unfortunately, the manager informed me it was not refundable. I felt cornered but was eventually offered a compromise: a 26' truck for just under $9,000. I agreed, even though the situation already felt off.
On moving day, two trucks showed up — neither of which were dedicated solely to my move. They were already partially loaded with items from other jobs. This was not what I had been promised. I called the company immediately, and they essentially told me there was nothing they could do.
When my belongings finally arrived at my new home, only about 3/4 of the 26' truck was occupied with my stuff. The remaining space was filled with someone else’s items. Again, I did not receive what I had paid for — a full 26' truck dedicated to my move.
This experience was riddled with misleading information, a lack of accountability, and poor customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Please do your research and be wary of companies that make big promises and deliver something entirely different.

The issue regarding our claim with Mak Elite Transportation LLC, hired by MoveSafe Relocation remains unresolved, and my husband, Gregory Kerr, and I are extremely frustrated. We have exercised more than enough patience, and it is now approaching an entire year without resolution.
Our experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Out of the 36 boxes we entrusted to your company, 17 arrived damaged, and busted open, with items missing from them. Even more concerning, 5 full boxes of our belongings are completely missing, and no one has been able to tell us where they were delivered or what happened to them.
The handling of our valuables has been careless and unprofessional, and the lack of accountability and communication throughout this process is unacceptable. We are devastated by the loss and damage to our personal items and feel completely disregarded as customers.
Given the circumstances, I feel compelled to continue sharing our experience publicly in hopes of warning others and pushing for some form of accountability.

Still waiting for a response about the claim. CSI says they need more time. What about us?

Company is a complete scam, they lie to you from minute one. We were lied to about delivery date, items being packaged, extra fees, our stuff being separate from others, and so much more. Hot mess from the beginning. I will never even think about using this company ever again.

MoveSafe is a parasitic broker company that does not own any moving trucks. It is a 100% middleman broker company that takes more than 50% of the total moving cost.

This is a very untrustworthy company! The original estimate was $1312 for a small move. When the movers arrived 8 hours after the scheduled time without notifying me, the cost was increased to $3340. Their reasons for the upcharge kept changing. "Well. you didn't tell us there was a curio cabinet." (It was on page 9). "Well, you didn't pay for packing materials." (It was on page 1). "Well, you didn't pay for the boxes and labor." (Also on Page 9 under "Packing Materials and Labor.") "Well, the movers didn't know there would be packing involved." (You mean that fact that I purchased boxes, packing materials, and labor was not a good indication). Well, the movers increased your one room job to 450 cf. (When the items arrived, I measured them myself and it totaled well under 100 cf) Finally, the company offered me a $50 "Inconvenience fee", if I didn't leave a negative review. (Keep your money. It's worth letting others know about your practices). If in their response to this post, they sound contrite, it's just cosmetic. I've been on the phone with them several times regarding this.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. This isn't a review made from spite. They repacked my items and then overcharged me over $1700 stating that my items were over the weight/size limit when that in fact was not true. They quoted me originally for my items for a certain cubic feet but when it was time to move I sold a few items and that cubic feet decreased drastically. They never informed me of a weight limit nor did my items take up the whole 26 foot truck. They even charged me extra for a bulky item which on their contract would be a washer/dryer or motorcycle.. they charged me for my mattress. Estimated delivery was 2-14days and they took my items to a warehouse in Maryland opposite of the final destination. Unacceptable, unprofessional. You can barely get in contact with an actual person to talk about your concerns. We will be taking this to court.

Scheduled a Move in January for February, They called me to confirm, 5 days prior, but then "fined" me cause I had to change the date, 7 days prior and moved the date to March. Called today to confirm inventory, and move location, and the quote went from 1900 to 7000 after arguing about it for an hour, they decided they could do it for 3800. So I declined, I had paid half of the fine, 150 and a 850 dollar deposit.. so they scammed me for 1000, which I can't get back, for non services rendered. Avoid these people at all cost, when online trying to find a mover, if you see MoveSafe (directly or by re-direction) then close the link and do not take their phone call (561) florida area code. They used to be Elite Moving Partners, on Lucerne Ave in Lake Worth Florida. which has also been closed, due to various business practices. they are not BBB registered and have a c+ rating.

The worst company you could book with they never pick up the phones they asked you for the exact cubic feet and still charge you for more feet tells you sizes are not what you told them, but you give them a right measurements they give you exact price then when they come it’s a total they try to charge you more that it’s a different company that comes Then they told us a certain date and we didn’t receive our stuff till a month later every day it was a different story then when we received our stuff a month later and being charged extra and being told, we will get a reimbursement for half of the stuff back and which we had 72 boxes and they only took 34 so that would’ve been another 40 something boxes that they should have took that we would been getting reimbursed back then they charge us for stairs stairs they supposedly didn’t say a lie. They offered $200 back 100 stairs and 100 for the items mind you all the stuff came back broken cracked. They left a mess in the house. They’re literally the worst company you can ever go with. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau, but they said that they’re not even a real business , if I knew this, I would not let my mother book so now we are trying to fight because she deserves at least half of what we paid we did the math we should be expecting at least 1000 back and they only offered 200. They’re very rude and disrespectful argue with you. You don’t answer your calls , gives you the runaround. Do not book with them at all. So have a whole bunch of my family members going to put bad reviews out on them and just contact somebody higher

Our move was to include the transportation of a vehicle - day of the move, no transport had been set up and we had to drive the vehicle ourselves.
Watch out for the “cubic feet” up charge. We argued with the movers for two hours over the L-Sectional verses a couch. The brokers (who estimate the costs) said they listed the sectional, the movers said their list only have a couch, we were allotted 35 boxes, we had 22 (most medium, six were large) we were charged extra…….we ended up paying $1,100.00 more than originally quoted and the car had to be driven the 1800 miles.
During the process we were promised a refund would be issued - the movers had the furniture packed/wrapped and said they did their part, we either accepted and paid or they would unwrap the furniture (which we would have to pay for) and they would leave-they earned their part of the costs.
Get several bids and read the reviews - this was a horrible experience and the refund they are offering is $50.00. That does not even cover one tank of gas!!!! BEWARE
