Motorpoint - Peterborough Reviews 

I made at appointment online to sell my car to my local Motorpoint. The online valuation was extremely competitive to others I'd received elsewhere .
I arrived at my allocated time & was offered a drink by the lady on the desk (she was polite & friendly). She advised me to sit on one of the sofas to wait for the person who would be dealing with me.
I was kept waiting for about 25 minutes before someone came over & asked for my car keys (to have the car checked by a technician)
After about another 10 minutes a man came over with some paperwork & asked for all my car details, log book, service book etc.
He was then backwards & forwards to a desk behind me. It seemed a little bit chaotic.
I do think it'd would've been more professional if I'd have been taken to the desk, rather than sitting on a sofa in the middle of the waiting area with him rushing backwards & forwards.
However, the man was very polite & friendly & made me feel at ease. He guided me through the online part I needed to do for DVLA (selling to motor trade) The whole process was easy.
I received the same amount for my car that was quoted on the website valuation & this was deposited in my account within a couple of hours (it was a Sunday)
I'd definitely come back to Motorpoint to sell or buy . The staff are always very friendly, helpful & professional, never pushy.
Tip - It's very important you put the correct information on the website for the initial valuation. I did & there were no issues on the day. I believe prices can change after the actual appraisal there but there was no issues at all with mine .
The only reason I haven't rated this experience 5 stars is because of the wait & I wasn't seated at a desk.

I had a really smooth and hassle-free experience with Motorpoint when I brought in my vehicle. The agent who attended to me was extremely professional, attentive, and provided all the information and guidance I needed throughout the process. Everything went efficiently from start to finish, and I left their office completely satisfied with the service. Highly recommended!

It was an easy trouble free transaction from start to finish with immediate payment to chosen account

I went to sell my car at Peterborough on Sunday, having already been given a valuation online. We were quite impressed by the whole experience , the site was clean and tidy as was the showroom/ reception area. Tea or coffee was offered by the receptionist and was greatfully accepted. We had been allocated a very young man by the name of Fred to do the initial appraisal of our car. Fred explained the process that would happen and talked us through each stage and was very clear and precise with his information. This young man is a credit to Motorpoint and also to his family, polite and not at all pushy, which unfortunately is sadly lacking nowadays. I am giving big praise to Fred because he deserves it.
Our car was taken into the workshop for an assessment and within 25 minutes Fred came and found my wife and I and said all was good, (which we knew was the case). We was paid the full price that was quoted and we then signed the document of ownership over to Motorpoint. Fred had previously explained as it was a Sunday, we may not receive the payment until the following day. We had email confirmation of the sale and price received before we left the site. All this in less than 1 hour.
We received the full price quoted as we were honest with our appraisal of our car before we took it to the site. No lies told and full price received.
To our surprise my wife looked on our banking app early evening on the Sunday and the full payment had been received.
Motorpoint offered more than anybody else and the whole experience was very smooth, and Fred helped this along.
