Worth contacting to understand your pensions

Spoke to a rude, unhelpful and cold advisor when calling for advice about a complicated pension situation for which I could not find any advice on the Internet. Kept interrupting me whilst I was trying to explain the situation. Couldn't even just wait a minute to let me finish speaking. Told me my question was not pensions related and that he could not help me. End of conversation.

Sign posted me to citizens advice who could not help me. Waste of time all round, not did not feel like the advisor truly listened to or understood my question, since he kept cutting me off. Very cold behavior, and I cannot imagine how my elderly grandparents would have felt trying to speak to him about a stressful pensions situation. Would not call again.

I had not a clue about my pension options but I spoke with a very knowledgeable gentleman who was very patient with me and understood how difficult pensions are to navigate. He gave very concise information and helped me understand how my pensions worked and what I could expect from dealing with my pensions advisor. Phone call started at 9.20am, ended at 10.35am. He went at everything at such a pace that there was no way we could write it down! We understood none of it. We were spoken to like we should know everything!! If we knew everything, we wouldn't have needed the call. Very disappointed,left in tears, and absolutely exhausted. Honestly, I'm broken here 😢 😭
