This is an update to my earlier review. The first repair just involved greasing of the wheels, after about 2 weeks it has the same noise. When I contacted service, Jenece told me there was nothing she could do bc the matter was closed until I asked for the VP of operations. I managed to get another service call and again the only solution is greasing the wheels, not good enough. Maybe they should contact the manufacturer for a solution. So, I guess I will be stuck with a defective sofa. I will not buy there again. I just bought a sofa and it has a defect. I contacted my sales person Yvonne, who contacted customer service for me. Customer service janese got back to me quickly and handled everything to submit the claim to the service department. Both of the ladies have done a great job. I am now waiting for service.
Purchased a white Empire Sofa approx
Purchased a white Empire Sofa approx. $4200 and wornn after 3 years. They will not stand by their leather because it is junk. I tried to get it repaired and no one can repair it. It is only in the area that I sit on. No where else. I supposed it is just a show sofa not a sit on sofa? Ginny was rude with a dont give a DARN attitude. Guess they get these call every day.
They are forcing me to keep defective item
I ordered an Modavi bed and it came with a floating slats. I reported this, and they sent out someone to fix it. The technician inspected and said he cannot fix it. Now when I am trying to return the bed they refuse to take it back and are asking for return fee and restocking fee which will total to almost half the price of bed. They are making me pay for a defective item.

I had the worst experience ever buying a king size bed from this company. I bought the Movido bed, a few days later I decided to return it after a close inspection at their Tampa store. I bought the bed for around $1,800, after a close inspection at their store, it was worth $600 tops. It's the "cheapest expensive bed" I've ever seen. The slats were so thin (not real wood), it felt like it will break when I just pressed it. The bad itself was extremely unstable and wobbly. It was quivering when I sat on it (I weigh 200 lbs), and already squealing. This is a brand new bed in the showroom! The build quality was so bad it was laughable. And this is not even the worst part!
The return experience was even worse. I paid for the bed in full, then cancelled barely 3 days after, the bed hadn't yet been delivered to me. But they charged me $129 for cancellation. Their customer service is a 0 stars. It was so bad I couldn't believe it.
It's been a terrible experience with this company and if you are reading this review, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
BE AWARE
Modani hid the fact that the couch we ordered was on backorder until days after purchase. They tried to remedy this only with the offer of a different couch, which was quite literally ugly. I tried to leave a review warning other customers of this scam, however their website moderates reviews so I am sure it will never be seen.
No customer service, no reply on complaints
One of the doorpanels of the closet I ordered was crooked. For the past 4 weeks I have been trying to contact them. Phone is not answered, whatsapp help does not respond, e-mails are not answered.
If you have a problem with their products, you are on your own. I would highly recommend to stay away from this company!

Terrible service
I’m an interior decorator and designer. I bought a dining room table 2 months ago for $3000. They came and installed it and it was working. The first time I tried to use it myself the mechanical mechanism did not work with the remote control or manually. It was stuck half open I called them for service. They said that their policies only seven days for warranty. They were very rude and short with me and they refused to send anyone to repair it although I offered to pay for a service charge. Now I have a table , that doesn’t work and it’s mainly to the junkyard. I will never buy or recommend to any of my clients Modani furniture no matter which state my clients are in.
Warning/ Outdoor furniture
Warning! Do Not Buy Modani OUTDOOR FURNITURE (especially if you live in Florida) . Delivered last week. Wood stain washed out from golden brown to light bleached look, and that has stained cushions, wood discolored with stains, Cushions hold water like a sponge. We have purchased many many thousands of interior furniture . When I called customer service they informed me you have to cover all the outdoor furniture until use (seriously!!, no one ever mentioned or I wouldn't have bought it) . Its 1 week old!! I was then told I can "sand" my brand new furniture down and re-stain it/waterproof it and it should be fine. Or pay a 35% restocking fee. Ridiculous. They lost a good customer over this. I will be canceling the other 3k in orders I have with them . Don't sell something you know wont last in Florida climate not tell the customer a critical item that its cant take water or the outdoor climate we live in.

Summary of why you should think twice before buying furniture here based on my recent experience.
Friendly in the showroom but once they have the sale they don’t care. Definitely don’t risk any big orders with them bc they will do everything in their power to not help and to get as much money out of you as possible:
1) Sales team assured me they had a full refund 3-day return policy and THEY WROTE IT ON MY INVOICE. Then when I tried to return 4 chairs the day after I received them (I called, text, and followed up for 4 straight days before getting a response) they said I owed their 35% restocking fee and then said they would make it 25% for my trouble even though I have their commitment for a full refund if returned within 3-days in writing. The store tried saying a sales associate give me incorrect information but my gf was offered the same 3-day return at another of their locations.
2) Can't get their delivery dates right to save their life. Told us we would get our couch in 2 weeks and it took 6 weeks, we have a coffee table that was supposed to be delivered in September and we are told now "sometime in November"
3) Terrible follow-up, I have texted, emailed, and called the store and customer service daily for weeks for simple information
4) District manager Kseniya Milius takes no accountability for fixing issues and blames not being able to do anything on her own customer service department. In my case, she said I absolutely should not be charged a restocking fee and that her own customer service department is being totally unreasonable but just shrugs her shoulders and says there is nothing she can do.
5)No one above a three store DM level will reach out to you to matter what. Customer service is even worse. They only have a frontline worker text even when specifically told you want to talk to someone at a higher level.
*I am in the process of trying to get a call from anyone at a senior level, or any level for that matter 😡
Excellent Service
My husband and I were shopping for a few pieces of furniture to fit in our small 1-bedroom apt. We were very pleasantly greeted by Carina whom I found to possess the perfect of balance of informing present sales and then leaving us to take time to browse the store. We found a couch perfect for our needs. Because we needed time to make room for it, we did not make the purchase right away. At my request, Carina kept in touch to update its availability. The price savings were just too good to pass up. Carina and also the manager, Brian, were very helpful and patient in coordinating our purchase and eventual pick-up. Our excellent experience at Modani is a direct result of the knowledgeable staff.

After three months, there’s no response! No response to my emails, no response to my calls.
When I call customer service, I was told many times that I’ll receive a callback but absolutely nothing.
Please don’t work with this company. They have a terrible customer service and never tell the truth. They will keep you unaware of what’s going on. No transparency with your orders even if you’ve paid thousands of dollars! Horrific!
Horrific Customer Service
We ordered over 3k worth of furniture from their website. They somehow mess up the city and zip code and on delivery day it's headed an hour from where we live. I confirmed the order email had the correct address so I have no idea what they did. I spent 3 hours trying to reach a human person to explain the issue and I couldn't get anyone. Tried live chat, text and email. Nothing. Problem still has not been addressed as I STILL cannot get anyone to respond. Nice furniture but horrific customer service

Worst experience ever. They advertised a couch on social media and their website and the couch looks nothing like the picture. Returning the item is a second job. I have been on hold for 2 hours straight. I will never buy from this company again. Think twice. It's a waste of money and they scam you just like everyone else in ATL. RUN
