Excellent product and service....took care of delivery and pickup in two different locations for our month-long vacation. Would recommend to anyone requiring mobility aids during their vacation in Ireland.

The all terrain knee rover we rented from Martin's company was an absolute God send! My husband broke his foot the week before we were due to go to Spain to visit our son. In order to make the most of his trip and not end up sore and exhausted using crutches we rented the knee rover.
Unlike some of the other companies I contacted who said it could not be taken abroad Martin said it was no problem that it was insured for everything bar theft so we kept a good eye on it when out and about. It was tagged at check in by Ryanair- we had informed them a few days before that we were bringing it and there is no charge to take it and then he was able to use it to get down to the gate which as you know with Ryanair is some distance!! He took it all the way to the steps of the plane and then it was taken and was waiting on the tarmac when we got off-same on the way back-thanks Ryanair great service.
It was invaluable when we went all around Granada which would not have been possible on crutches-it would be too tiring.We had to tell Kevin to slow down at times as we couldn't keep up with him! We managed to fit it in the boot of the car with all of the luggage as it partially folds.
The service from Martin is A1 he dropped it to our house and collected it-is available by phone and email-so would recommend 100%.

I highly recommend Mobility Direct. I am an American tourist and required a knee walker while on holiday in Dublin. After a few emails with which they provided quick replies, I had rented a quality knee walker for a very reasonable price. They also delivered and picked up the walker from my hotel making it quite easy on me! Thank you for providing this service!

My husband is an ALS patient and we came to the MND convention in Dublin. Due to his condition, we just couldn't have done that without a proper bed. We have contact Mobility Direct and they were so helpful and really went out of their way to make it work. The bed & mattress we rented waited in our hotel room and was picked out after our check out (even though it was a weekend ). The equipment was good and the whole experience was great.

Martin had a mobility scooter waiting at our hotel when we arrived. I was able to keep up and do things that would have been extremely difficult without it! Price was the best I found, service was excellent!

I broke my ankle recently and I was doing some research online for an alternative to crutches. MobilityDirect.ie had several excellent alternatives including knee scooters that were available to rent or buy. I was able to rent a knee scooter for a very reasonable price and MobilityDirect.ie delivered it the next day. The customer service was fantastic and always prompt. I highly recommend MobilityDirect.ie for anyone who needs mobility help and advice - they have great products at very reasonable prices and they are run by professionals who know their stuff. A great small Irish business :)

I had extensive elective foot surgery in Mayof this year and renting my knee scooter from Mobility direct was one of the best decisions made . Martin was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with advice on which model to rent. I used my Knee Rover for more than 6 weeks and it was just great . Crutches ( I later found out ) are a pain ( literally ) to use , no free hands and very tiring . With my knee scooter , I could get about easily and from the first few days I could " scoot " to the bathroom and with my trust knee scooter by my side , felt reassured I was independent and safe . From day one and for the two weeks of almost total elevation ( min 22 hours of elevation definitely pays off ) I used my knee scooter as an opportunity to stretch and do simple standing exercises ( obviously the operated leg is non weight beating ) every time I visited the bathroom or moved from A to B . After the initial 2 weeks and with the Go ahead from my consultant I was able to get outside with my knee scooter . Building up from short " scoots " from the car to shop / restaurant and on one occasion even the pub ! After building up strength , I even managed a scoot down Dunlaoghaire pier and back ! The Knee Rover or "All Terrain version off Roader" , as I called it was no doubt my Best Buddy post surgery . It's not easy , non weight bearing for 6 weeks is tough and in still in rehab phase but I can honestly say deciding to rent the Knee Rover was the best decision I made . The knee scooter was waiting for me in the hospital and I got " attached " to " him " over what is a difficult time . When Martin came to collect " him " from my home I felt almost emotional ( but elated too ) as the scooter had been my constant buddy for over almost 8 weeks . I wish there were more People in business like Martin . Thank you Mobility Direct .

I cannot recommend Mobility Direct highly enough. I had surgery for a broken foot 6 weeks ago and rented a knee scooter 5 weeks ago from Mobility Direct. Martin from Mobility Direct was extremely friendly and efficient and had the knee scooter delivered to my door less than 24 hours after initial contact was made! It was an absolute lifesaver! It enabled me to get out and about and was much more user friendly than crutches! When I was finished with the scooter it was collected within 24 hours - a very efficient service altogether! I cannot recommend Mobility Direct highly enough to anyone who is unfortunate enough to break an ankle/foot! Thank you Martin at Mobility Direct for making dealing with a broken foot so much easier!

Thank you so much for your incredibly prompt delivery of the knee crawler . My 12 year old daughter would have been very housebound without it. Having had surgery on a broken leg 2weeks before our holiday the knee crawler came to our rescue. Our holiday to lisbon could not have been done on crutches as it was very hilly but we managed it and of course flew through airports . All in all a marvellous invention . Perfect to use round the house and school. Almost no need for crutches with this. Highly recommend mobility.ie too!!! Deirdre

I have been delighted with the service I received from Mobility Direct.
They delivered just that! Mobility to my school door with a next day delivery with no fuss at all.
I broke my foot and could not put wait on it for over 6 weeks. As I had so much ground to cover in a busy school as well as the need for greater mobility in the classroom, it has been the perfect solution for me. Not to mention me being the envy of my pupils who wish they could bring a scooter to school too!
It has also allowed my body to be under less stress as, prior to the knee-walker, crutches had been hard on my shoulders, hands and 'good foot'. I felt it helped to keep my broken foot more elevated too.
All in all a positive experience and I would recommend both the product and service provider - Mobility Direct, without hesitation.

Last year I fell off my bike and broke my leg and ankle. Because I already had an upper arm disability I was unable to use crutches while I was 4 months non weight bearing.
As a matter of urgency I needed solutions to manage a wheelchair in my own home. I phoned Martin and within a day we had choices explained and perfectly fitted portable Ramps delivered and fitted in my
Home. The service was excellent and I thought the cost very reasonable.
They also went a step further recently and lent me a ramp for a charity concert and fundraiser. So happy to recommend these guys.

Huge thanks to Martin at Mobility Direct. I called re hiring a knee walker late one Thursday. He was able to deliver the next morning which was Good Friday. On delivering the knee walker it turned out to be too big and a paediatric model was required. Martin was an absolute professional and came back the same evening with the mini model rather than leave it until after the bank holiday weekend. It made a huge difference and was enormously appreciated. I would highly recommend this company for service and professionalism.

My daughter broke her ankle recently and after coming across a video on you tube we purchased an iwalk from mobility direct. It arrived the following day! We used the excellent support tutorial videos on the iwalk website and assembled it pretty quickly. The videos on learning to walk with it were great and very detailed.

My daughter 12yrs had been struggling with her crutches, sore hands, pain in her other hip and difficulty tackling stairs, carrying her school bag and other items. This device made everything so much easier, she had the use of her hands, more stability and was able to doing pretty much everything. As her mother it made my life so much easier! Great invention for lower leg non weight bearing injuries.

as the victim of two recent accidents involving a fractured foot and wrist, my spouse was obliged to use firstly a wheelchair and following on, a knee walker , both supplied by Mobility Direct.
Martin Murray, the company's owner, could not have been more obliging! The service he provided, fast and efficient same-day delivery and pick-up, could not have been better. It was quite simply an excellent service experience!
We cannot find words adequate to describe how pleased we are; it so rare these days to find someone who can deliver needs in such a friendly and personal way.

The product is really great, helped me to overcome some big issues I was having with crutches.
The ability to walk and have both hands free, the ability to walk extended distances and not be so held back by crutches was brilliant.
Martin couldn't have been more helpful with delivery and collection etc, a pleasure to deal with.
I would strongly recommend this product for anyone 'unfortunate' enough to need it

Over the summer I fractured my left ankle very severely on a wet road in a freak accident. Following emergency surgery the importance of keeping my foot elevated was emphasised. I was given a pair of crutches on discharge and I wondered, as a busy mum of young children- how I was going to do this.
I then got Martin's name and he was fantastic- he came out to the house on the day of discharge and brought a knee walker. It was brilliant. The fact that I rested my knee on a saddle and scooted meant that I was mobile, keeping my foot elevated and was able to "run " after my children. This would not have been possible with crutches.
I was the told by my doctor to mobilise as much as possible in the outdoors. I contacted Martin and straight away he brought out a knee rover which was an outdoor version of the knee walker. It was fantastic- it meant I could go places with the children that I could never have gone safely on crutches.
Martin provides an excellent service- he is a true gentleman-very warm and empathic. Nothing is a problem for him. I would highly recommend him

Martin and his team at Mobilitydirect were more than accommodating
for my stay in Ireland (what a beautiful country) . They made a delivery
of the scooter to the Apt where we were staying and arranged to pick it
up at the hotel out by the airport when we left, saved a lot of personal
hassel on my part. The scooter itself performed as described and came
in very handy on multiple occasions . It broke down very easy and fit in
the car nicely. You do have to charge the battery every night but is no
big deal., I would highly recommend Mobilitydirect to anyone needing
assisted means of mobility while in Ireland. We traveled 1400 miles with

I recently had major ankle surgery which will mean I will have to be non weight bearing for at least the next 8 weeks . I rented the knee rover from mobility direct & it has been absolutely fantastic!! It has allowed me to remain mobile & independent even while in hospital. My surgeon was very impressed with it and was very happy to discharge me from hospital using it.The Knee Rover is very secure & and steady even on uneven surfaces.I have not used my crutches at all. The service from Mobility Direct was superb I ordered it by phone from Martin & it arrived first thing the next morning as promised fantastic service . I would have no hesitation in recommending the knee rover from Mobility direct to anyone who has a lower leg injury or foot or ankle surgery & wants to remain independent & mobile .
