I have had my new Miele induction stove…

I have had my new Miele induction stove top for 4 months and have already had it replaced under warranty. The new one is not much better, it turns itself off midway through cooking so you come back and have to start again, it is hard to control the temperature and constantly makes a loud “ticking” sound. I would not recommend and would never buy a Miele cook top again - very disappointing

Biggest purchase mistake

My husband and I bought Miele dishwasher a year and a half ago. We got an error message F78 6-7 months into owning the machine. My husband was able to trouble shoot it. Now, a year or so later he is unable to trouble shoot with the same error message (not under warranty anymore). We paid 800 dollars for the machine, Miele says it will cost 200 dollars for someone to come take a look at it. We looked up the price of a new circulation pump and it costs $600. With a service charge, thats 1600 hundred dollars for a dishwasher for under 2 years of owning it. Miele advertises their products last for 20 years. That is obviously false advertising and if you are going to charge a high price, it should last. Miele offered to reduce 25% cost of the part if it need it. Ok thanks, so instead of 1600 dollars it will be 1400. Still not worth it....very disappointing. Save yourself the extra money and dont invest in it. Spend half the money and buy a product that will last longer. You aren't paying for quality. Waste of money and waste of disposal of resources.

Please don't spend money with Miele.

Please don't spend money with Miele.
All appliances have too may faulty. Most of them even from first year. Customers service is so poor. When you complain, no one care. I bought 7 appliances from them had problems with single one. But worse was my combination microwave paid almost £5000 for it.
It 3 years now. Every single year had problem. Now they say it is more than 2 years and I have to pay for repair, even was not happy, did no choice to accept it. After 3 week wait for part coming. They called and said part is not arrived and may have manufactory problem. Than nothing. I called and put complaint, they said manger will decide to what to do. Nothing yet. Every single day I call and ask for result and every single day they said some one will call me in same day but no one calls. Month is gone and I have no microwave.
Today bought a microwave from Curry for £100. It is the same i had at work for 5 years and heavy used of staff and never had any problem. It is funny £100 microwave works much better than £5000miele ones.

They don't stock enough parts!

It's been over two months, two months and 10 days to be exact and our local serviceman/supplier has yet to receive a part for our dishwasher. He warned us saying it's a good product but they are terrible with parts supply, if and when we will need one. Should have listened.

Will never buy a Miele product ever again!

We bought a Miele Lumen dishwasher a couple years ago and have had nothing but problems from the time it was installed. The dishes don’t get clean. I have tried all their “suggestions” and several different soaps. A tech came out a few times but nothing changed. As a last-ditch effort, I recently decided to try it on the “sanitize” cycle and that worked finally. The part I hate about this is that it is a 2 hour and 50-minute cycle!!!! So much for saving on electricity. On their website it says “Save up to 50% on electricity. All Miele Dishwashers can be connected to a hot water connection at a temperature of up to 150°F. This reduces electricity consumption by up to 50% and running times by up to 10%. In the Economy program, the energy consumption of the dishwasher drops to as little as 0.45 kWh.” If I ran it on economy my dishes would be so dirty!

The dishwasher also condensates or leaks water under my cabinet and drips onto the floor leaving a puddle. Not to mention it drips on the electronic panel. I imagine there is a failure waiting to happen there. On the same side it drips it also build up all the gunk on the inside of the door panel. It is weird and I have no clue how this is happening. I keep cleaning it off and the next day it is back again after a cycle of dishes. I have pictures and video of everything I am explaining. Lastly, I have a horrible rattle when the dishwasher first starts.

We had a working KitchenAid before we thought we were “upgrading” to a Miele. We now wish we had never got rid of the KitchenAid. We have a Miele vacuum and have been happy. Miele is supposed to be the best of the best. Sad to say that after our experience with the dish washer we will never buy a Miele product again. To say I hate this dishwasher is an understatement! I’m ready to “office space” it!

After I wrote a review awhile back a manager had contacted me and had someone come out to try to “fix” it. However, nothing was ever fixed. In fact, after inspecting under my sink recently I have noticed that the water line is connected to the cold water. It should be connected to the hot water, per their website. I have reached out recently but no one has returned my emails/calls.

Total rip off

I have a Tumbler Dryer and Washing machine form Miele Costing around £2,500. After only 300 hours of use both have broken down. They came out to repair the tumbler dryer and had to order parts taking the best part of three months. Their customer service agreed to pay half the cost of labour and free parts. When I received the invoice it did not include the half price labour. I informed them of this which they would have to investigate and that a note would be put o my record so that I was not chased. Unfortunately I was then cashed and when advised that an issue had been raised I was told that it was with customer service and a not will be put on so that I will not be chased. I later received an email threatening that action would be taken so I phoned again and was told that it was still with customer service and not to worry. A little later no news form customer service but calls to my home and mobile chasing for unpaid invoice. This is harassment for an error caused on Miele’s part. Phone again and told that a note put on my account so no more chasing and that it was being referred back to invoicing. Yet again another chasing email. Eventually I get an email confirm that it should have been at half the cost and that a credit would be applied and I need to pay. No apology given. At the same time the tumbler dryer was being repaired the engineer looked at the washing machine. After he left it was still not working properly. Homer I received an invoice for over £100 for doing nothing. This included a fee of £50 as it was another machine. I complained but told the invoice was correct and I have to pay. The engineer at no stage advised me of the extra cost and I am now taking this up with trading standards. In short I spent a lot of money to get a reliably washing machine and tumbler dryer but I have only received trouble and harassment when they have made an error. I would avoid them and will never buy from Miele again

WARNING - FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS BEING POSTED

You will note that 253 postive reviews have been posted since Dec 2019.

164 of these occured on a single day 21st May 2020
60 of these occurred on 28th May 2020.
The remainder over the last few days but mostly all grouped in a few days.

Seems like a marketing campaign just to imporve the poor score that existed in December 2019.

95% of these excellent reviews were "invited" by the company.

I had cause to complain about their appalling service and was checking back to see what other people were thinking.

Terrible quality

Purchased a brand new high end washing machine. Broken from day one, leaking water from the bottom. Service can come in 3 weeks (!!) to check the machine. No way, this piece is going back to the store and the last time I purchased a Miele. This is the opposite you would expect from a premium brand.

Absolutely awful horrible company when…

Absolutely awful horrible company when it comes to service. I paid $1400 for a dishwasher 1.5 years ago. It's broken. The first technician said it was fine (but still wouldn't run after he left) The second technician diagnosed a broken water pump by doing nothing except reading a code. It's still broken after 2 weeks. Never again, this company is blacklisted forever in my book.

Apparently non-existent customer support

Had my robot vacuum fixed under warranty some months ago but one of the parts they replaced is also defective. Now customer service is apparently off-line been calling for days and there is no indication of wait time and they don't call back if you select that option.

Dryer M.-No 10 753021

Dryer M.-No 10 753021. This top of the range heat pump dryer is the WORST dryer I have ever had. It takes HOURS to dry anything bigger than a hand towel, let along a double duvet cover. Even though I now button the duvet to dry it, the machine manages to turn it inside out and and send it out in a tangled damp muddle after two hours. I have had two bath towels and two hand towels drying for 3 hours on Extra Dry and they STILL aren’t dry.

Terrible service we bought new Combi steam oven first time tried to use oven it says fault code F267 called Miele had to wait 9 days for engineer to visit when he arrived he new what the problem was apparently factory had fitted wrong thermostat which causes fault and they new the serial numbers of the appliances affected but did not contact the customers ok I know things happen but then was told UK does not have any this replacement stat and could not advise when they would receive it so thanks Miele you new of the PROBLEMS and did nothing about and the sad thing is why do they behave like this and why send engineer without the part I really hope your business gets all the success it deserves

Awful customer service

Awful customer service until we reached, in error, the area service rep (who first told us that he wasn't allowed to deal with consumers) was excellent and walked us through the very simple solution for changing detergent cartridges for washer/dryer. No one at Fred's in Bozeman, where we bought the washer , had a clue or seemed to care much, the Miele service rep, Gilmore, knew nothing about a solution and the waiting time on the phone for someone in service was interminable at the outset. To make matters even worse, the German geniuses who wrote the instruction manual forgot to mention the correct last step. I own two German cars,; happily they have nothing to do with Miele. Caveat Emptor with Miele!

I have used the service twice

I have used the service twice. In January of this year we waited a month for service on our clothes washer. The service man was polite but he brought the wrong part and then it took two weeks to get the right one and get back. Today I called to report that our dishwasher has quit and the first availability of a service man is ten days to look at it. I spent a month at the laundromat the last time and now I will be washing dishes for at least two weeks. The machines are great when they are working but the service times leave something to be desired.

Repair experience - Miele CM 6350 Coffee machine

Sent in a Miele CM 6350 Coffee machine for repairs due to a faulty front panel. Took a fair amount of time to get the machine back. Once returned, we had more issues than when it left. Called customer service number, waited almost 25 minutes to speak with someone. They said you will need to send back for more repairs. I asked for expedited shipping and they could not assure me that would happen. It's this type of response that gives companies and their customer facing employees a bad wrap. How hard is it to do what is right?

For the record, this is about a $2,400 (all in) coffee maker. You might expect a bit more urgency, especially given the initial repair was a complete miss. Bottom line...set your expectations low, really low and hope they can met it.
