Buying a diamond is not an easy task
Buying a diamond is not an easy task, there's so many physical stores or websites around. After looking at a couple of reviews about Miadonna, I was immediately drawn. The product I ordered is really amazing, everybody gave compliments! Also, the customer service is great and accommodating.

Hello Crysta, I am so sorry you were unhappy with your Home Try On. We are unable to offer all of our Home Try On rings in every ring size or with different sized center stones as we just could not afford to offer this or have that much inventory. We generally make the rings ranging from a 5-7 as these are the most popular sizes so sadly anything smaller or larger than that we are unable to accommodate. I hope you were able to get a better idea of how the rings looked having them in person.

Fake reviews and Worst purchasing experience
This was probably one of the worst purchasing experiences that I've ever had. In the course of my engagement ring journey I've worked with a bunch of different jewelers and businesses and the contrast is startling. It set back my wedding planning more than month and tremendous stress give the amount of $ in play. Not to mention scheduled and rescheduling of planned events.
I had to ask 7 times for an ETA on resizing a ring over the course of 3 weeks before I got an answer. Then when they couldn't deliver in the required time I had to ask >3 times for a refund after which they insisted on charging a $30 shipping fee. Extremely shady and in my estimation very poor integrity. I'm sure this review will get a long winded, gas lighting, blame-shifting response.
Some of the ratings are sus as it doesn't match their yelp rating. Please do due diligence and checkout some other companies.

Hello Justin, I am so sorry you were unhappy with your purchasing experience at MiaDonna. We are disappointed that you feel this way as we believe we went above and beyond to get your engagement ring to you on time. The issue started when you ordered the ring 2 sizes too large and consequently we were unable to resize the ring without compromising the quality which we would never do. We clearly state on the website that a ring can only be sized 1 full size up or down. A ring resize generally takes 5 business days however we needed to craft an entirely new ring for you which meant it potentially would take 10-15 business days. We repeatedly asked what your deadline was as we were expediting the remake for you but you refused to give us a date. We were unable to give you an exact date as the jeweler does not want to promise an unrealistic date until he gauges how the casting is going. The casting house does not work over the weekend which is when you reached out 3 times for an update. We explained that they were closed and that we would get back to you first thing on Monday morning which we did. We actually got your remake completed and could have had it shipped within 9 business days which was exremely fast. It was at this point you requested a 30% discount off the ring which we were unable to do. We are a foundation first company and we do not have the ability to give such discounts as any discount comes directly out of the money we give to the mining communities that we are trying to help. MiaDonna was not at fault for the resizing error or throughout the entire process. We had already lost money on the first ring which we had made for you and we had completely made a brand new ring at no extra cost to yourself. It was at this point you requested a refund which we willingly gave you less $30 shipping and handling charge for the first ring you returned. This is clearly stated on our website as we ship all of our rings out with free shipping but if it is returned for a refund then we charge a $30 shipping and handling fee. We believe we did everything we could under the circumstances. All of our reviews are genuine customers who had a wonderful experience at MiaDonna. We pride ourselves on our customer service and trying to give our customers the best experience we can.

Asked x2 for review before receiving my ring
I don't think a customer should be asked for a review or opinion before the customer has received their product? But since you've asked now twice for this, I will say that there is a huge gap of silence from time order is placed until delivery - the rough time estimate given at time of order isn't accurate, and there is no follow-through explaining where my order is in your process of crafting the ring I ordered. So far this experience has been awful.

I am so sorry you have been asked to review your ring before you have even received it. I am not sure why this would happen and we are looking into it. We are currently on 13 business days and we do quote 15 business days to handcraft the ring. You should have received an email as soon as you placed the order saying we will be in touch once the ring is ready to ship. We generally do not update before that time. Your order was placed just before the July 4th holiday and the casting house do take a slightly extended holiday. Please accept our apologies and I will be in touch later today once the jeweler confirms the ship date. I believe it will be any day now.
