At the sterling IL location "Sharon"…

At the sterling IL location "Sharon" the manager was very rude. Was talking to a worker about batteries and Sharon was starting to raise her voice at me telling me I can't hangout here and talk. Was gonna shop there for stuff. I decided to take my business somewhere else. I will not go back.

Terrible product quality...no where to show it

There is a reason that they don't take reviews for their products online....because the quality of their products are terrible.

I bought an outdoor gas fireplace for several hundred dollars, kept it covered when not in use, and it is turning into a pile of crumbled concrete. Shop somewhere else.

Delivery Charge

I am in complete shock on how much they charge for shipping. I was going to have windows shipped to me they were going to charge me $298.00 dollars. I couldn't talk to anyone we have been emailing. Come on Menards I will be ordering from the competitors.

Mostly good service.

This company has never done me wrong on a purchase in their store. I've always received the 11 percent in store rebate that is advertised and the only negative experience is the odd occasion that a displayed product might be a special order item if I want it in a different size and I might have to wait a week or two.

Do not order cabinets from Menards

Do not order cabinets from Menards. They’ll get shit wrong and screw you on the 11% rebate. One of the most horrible experiences I have ever had and still waiting on a counter top that they had to re do. I’ll probably never get the 11% rebate. They waited a week to ship the cabinets to me because the banding wasn’t in. I never even used that shit

Whatever you do don’t order anything…

Whatever you do don’t order anything online at Menards it’s a pain in the butt to get anything taken care of or go ahead and try and print your receipt out and then when you wanna complain to Menards, you have to look at pictures of bicycles, trees, cars, and verify all of that before you can even complain about Menards

Menards...a pathetic excuse of a Company.

I was very interested in a high dollar (10s of thousand$)item on Menards website, so I clicked on the materials list to make sure that the components of the order were in line with my needs. The materials list section had NO details as to the materials. I searched for some time to find it...gave up and tried to find a Tel #. Must to top secret...found one listed but is was a well known CC Co. F Menards...they will NEVER get my business.

Ripped off by family owned company

Worst place to buy from ever. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. They say they're a family owned company but they don't care about their customers. They sent me the wrong items and wouldn't do anything about it so I disputed it with my credit card company. They somehow got the credit card company to make me pay. I'm mad at them too because they believed Menards lies. If you buy a dog and they give you a cat instead, is that fair. Now that their company has grown they don't care about their customers anymore only how much money they can make. I saw their ratings are at 1.6 and they're being sued. I wish I would have known this before I bought from them.

Propane in Morgantown, WV

The one in Morgantown, WV charges a $5.00 service fee and $3.75 a gallon to fill up your propane tank. Propane is currently $2.69 a gallon. I needed 3.70 gallons to top off my 20 lb. propane tank and it cost me $18.88. Did President Trump slap a tariff on propane?

Appleton East Menards

Appleton East Menards, one of the front end managers (won't name but you'll know if you deal with them). Extremely unprofessional. Very rude towards us customers and the staff. Never seems to be in a good mood. Doesn't seem to want too help and makes you feel like your wasting her time.

There is a reason menards has such poor customer service

There is a reason menards has such poor reviews. The customer service is atrocious. I purchased an item that was defective but didn’t know until it was opened. I called the store for them to hold an undamaged item in the store for an exchange and they refused! It was a heavy item and I needed help getting in the car but they refused to hold. I asked if they would take money off so I wouldn’t have to come in and hassle but they refused. I will not shop at Menards and will go to Lowes instead. Saving a buck may not help in the long run especially when their merchandise is sub par.

tried to cancel an online pickup order…

tried to cancel an online pickup order about an hour after i placed it. it took me a week and several emails and calls to get it straightened out. you see i had to cancel each departments order separately even though it's one store. I feel it would be easier to just add a cancel button that would cancel the order all at once instead of per department on one darn order is just crazy imo smh home depo from now on

Horrible customer service

WORST customer service I've had in a long time. Do any of their employees enjoy working there? 80% of the people I engaged with just stared at me until I spoke to start the conversation, and NONE of them appeared to be having a nice day.

I purchased a stepladder before I drove home to empty my vehicle and make room, and was told it would be waiting at the front entrance. When I returned to the front entrance, they told me it would now be waiting at door 15. When I drove all the way around to door 15... they told me to go to door 3. And when I drove over to door 3... I find that it's about 20 FEET from where the ladders were inside! That means even the employee working the area with the ladders had no idea there was the option for me to pick it up just outside.

I didn't have far to drive home, so I rolled my back windows down, put the ladder in the back seat, and let it stick out the side. On my way out of the yard, I presented my receipt to the guy at the gate, and got a VERY snarky and disrespectful "Um... doesn't your back seat fold down!?!?" I already knew that the angle would be too shallow, but didn't feel the need to explain that to this snide assclown. Instead, I simply asked him "Well, should I hop out of the car, and rearrange it right now?" He said "Uh... I don't know, but that's not how I would have done it."

Horrible service, piss-poor attitudes from employees, and a level of disrespect I have not received as a paying customer (spent over $200) in a long, long time. I'll be going to Home Depot, or ANYPLACE else from now on.

Delivery Scam

I ordered a sofa online at Menards and cancelled the order a couple days later. I received a refund for the price of the sofa but they refused to refund me the delivery fee (over $100) that they charged me for the sofa that was never delivered. Smh. I won't be shopping at Menards ever again.

MENARD'S IS TRYING TO KILL ME

These people are absolutely fn worthless. I placed a simple order for four things in inventory and available at their Sandusky Ohio store. When I go to the online checkout one of the items was required to be picked up at another store 60 miles away. I called to verify that it was in inventory at the store and yes it was. They said just come in and we'll take care of it. This has turned into an absolute nightmare. In order to do the exchange they had to delete the purchase and redo everything. Fine. The ensuing accounting disaster has completely rocked my world. When I got home from the store I got an email stating my order was ready for pickup in Wisconsin. WTF!! They double billed me. I now owe more than what I purchased. Then I received a credit for the store 60 miles away that never charged me as they canceled the pickup that further screwed everything up. I've had to call Capital One over two dozen times and you can't get ANYONE at Menard's corporate to call you. Email is the only option. I've spent SO MUCH DAMN TIME EMAILING THESE AHOLES IT'S OFF THE CHART. WHY THE HELL CAN'T SOMEBODY CALL ME AND GET THIS FIXED!!!! I AM FURIOUS. There is even more noise to this story. The sad part is this is the third AND LAST time they have blown up my life with a SIMPLE ONLINE ORDER and accounting disaster. This is the SHORT abridged version of this whole mess because I am sick and tired of dealing and writing about it.

Hey Menard's when you read this pick up the damn phone and call me to get this straight and we can talk about the RESTITUTION I WILL GET ONE WAY OR ANOTHER!!

I spent over $150 dollars and was told…

I spent over $150 dollars and was told I was gonna recieve a 11% rebate on my purchase.
This is a complete scam by Menards, you only have a certain amount of time and then you have to go purchase envelope and stamps in able to get it.
They're a freaking joke with this rebate garbage. Someone needs to sue their ass for this crap. It they want to give a rebate it should be a simple thing. Not all the crap they have you do. That's how they scam the consumer because most people have more important things to do besides take time out of a busy day to do the crap in order to save some bucks. Quit advertising your BS Menards. If they were decent they would give the rebate right at the check out. Menard is crap.
