A trainee nurse clipped my German shepherd nails. She was so quick and efficient. I’m not sure of her name, but she was brilliant.

the vet was amazing and they really care and not just about money which is refreshing as we love our dogs

Appointment was on time. Thorough check up for our Cat . We have used this branch of medivet for the past 4yrs. No complaints . Very happy with the service provided.

Do not use this vets they are the Sweeney Todd of the dog world!!! Been with this vets for 25 years and was taken over by Medivet, what a joke! The staff lie to to cover up medical negligence, but if it’s any consolation they are the cheapest in the UK for teeth extractions - £18 a tooth with all after care and included.

Vet and student and receptionist very helpful and excellent with my dog. The vet went beyond expectations

Cameron the vet was very good and caring about our chicken that we bought in to be looked at and treated.
I recommend this vet practice and care we received so far.

Unfortunately the last time I visited for my pet's injection the cost was increased by about £21, taking the monthly payment to £135.21. Over the last year or so the cost of the injection has been increased twice at least but never by such a great margin.
When I enquired, the receptionist could not coherently explain the reason for the increase.
Furthermore customers should be advised beforehand about increase in prices which should also be displayed.

Very disappointing experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I am required to give 1 star.

Last Saturday, we took our dog, Alessa, to Medivet in Vilvoorde, where we were seen by Dr. Mollaerts. Alessa had been behaving very unusually for two days, and we were extremely worried.

During the examination, the veterinarian only carried out a superficial check-up. At one point, he observed her behaviour from a distance. He said, "Maybe she has injured herself, but I can't pull or move her around to find out whether she is in pain." However, I was certain that this was not the case.

Her temperature was 39 degrees Celsius, and we were told that this was "borderline". I then specifically asked whether a blood test should be performed because I was seriously concerned. The answer was very clear: "No, you don't need to worry. I'll give her an anti-inflammatory medication, and if she doesn't improve, you should come back."

The bill came to €65.

On Sunday, I immediately noticed that my dog's condition had not improved. I felt that something was seriously wrong, so I took her to an emergency clinic, where blood tests were carried out immediately.

The results were devastating: my dog was dying. Her blood level had dropped to only 12%. She was immediately admitted to the intensive care unit and received the necessary medication and supportive treatment. Her condition was critical. Eventually, we were referred to Antwerp for an emergency blood transfusion.

Thanks to that rapid intervention, Alessa is currently stable. She is now being monitored every two days, and she is receiving cortisone and other medication.

I am writing this review because I want to emphasize how important it is to listen to the concerns of pet owners. I clearly expressed how worried I was and even asked for a blood test myself. Had I waited any longer, my dog would most likely not be alive today.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this situation was handled.

I sincerely hope that other pet owners read this review and think carefully before bringing their animals here.

The veterinarian nurse Danielle is wonderful but the monthly Librella injection I get for my dog has gone up from £109 to £132.84 when I paid my bill today. This is a really high increase of £24.
Librella have not increased their prices. I will now go back to The London Veterinarian Practice in York Street. Very disappointed have written to the CEO of Medivet for an explanation .

Really looked after my dog when she had to have some dental treatment. Everything was explained to me and I was given the opportunity to ask questions too, which put my mind at rest. Thank you.

Caring staff, always interested in your pooch

This was my first visit to Medivet. My cat needed his teeth cleaned due to a build up of plaque. Although I have always used a different vet, they were very slow in sending me a breakdown of the costs & when I finally did receive it, the price was really high. My daughter uses Medivet & recommended I go there. I had an initial appointment to have my cat checked & booked an appointment for a week later to have the treatment done. I was given clear advice about what would happen & the cost, which was almost half compared to the original quote from my usual vets. They checked my cats health & weight & gave suggestions on how I could help prevent future teeth problems, they even gave me a free sample of dental biscuits to help reduce the chance of plaque build up. The staff were lovely & I felt they really cared about my cat. I'm sure when he goes in next week for his op, he will be looked after really well. I shall be using Medivet in future as the staff were very professional & I felt confident with the service they provided.

Whenever I visit or call Medivet Bermuda I'm always very satisfied, the service they offer is outstanding all the staff are helpful friendly and excellent at there job.

I was previously with a Medivet practice. I had been going there since 1989 with my dogs. Unfortunately when it became Medivet from being a private practice the service and care of my pet declined. This was mainly due to the continual change of staff and locums. Although vets seemed good there was no consistency for my dogs care has not been very good due to the turnover of staff and vets.
I have left this vet practice , which has been Medivet for several years now , in May 2026 after going there for 37 years!!!
I have now moved to a locally run practice which has been so much better!
