Shop Around for the right deal

I was recently selling a modern gloss black Weber Baby Grand Piano in excellent order .. never played. Sent images to McLarens pianos Glasgow who were interested and offered £2500 for the piano. Used baby grand Weber pianos retail for around £4000-£5000, new they are approx £7000. McLarens came to inspect the piano and discovered (unknown to me and barely visible) a hairline crack on one of the legs. The offer was downgraded to £1000 for the piano (expensive leg) which was of course declined. On re-advertising the piano it was immediately sold to a highly reputable English company who were aware of the minor defect for £2300, and they sent a professional team to collect at no cost to me. Moral of the story if selling a piano … shop around and go south for a fair deal!

I delighted to welcome a new 'family'…

I delighted to welcome a new 'family' member to my home. It is a beautiful, limited edition Blüthner that I bought from McLaren's Pianos in Glasgow.
Jamie, Alice and her team were just superb from beginning to end. They went the extra mile to make us happy! Their service was both professional and efficient and is of the highest standard in the industry.
I will be recommending them to all my music friends.
