Having spent over £50k on a brand new Mazda CX60 phev, we have never such a terrible experience and so many faults with a new car. After numerous recalls, and a failed tailgate strut, we are now 3... See more

MAZDA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT UK CUSTOMERS!!
I was about to purchase a New CX 60 £50000 UNTIL I READ BELOW
I have always had new Mazdas but after reading Trustpilot I now have reservations
Now I have read THAT IN THE UK WE WILL NOT GET A SIX YEAR WARRANTY LIKE THE 26 COUNTRIES BELOW
This is what MAZDA THINKS ABOUT THEIR UK CUSTOMERS!!
OFF TO Toyota which has a 10-year WARRANTY
Mazda grands six-year new car warranty across Europe
This extended warranty program was launched in the first half of 2022 in Austria and Germany. The Netherlands, Poland, Spain and the complete Mazda Selected Markets Group including Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, Republic of Ireland, Kosovo, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia followed in September 2022.
Mazda in Belgium implemented the six-year warranty in December 2022, followed by France and Switzerland in January 2023. When Mazda Motor Italia launched the six-year warranty on 1st April, the roll-out in 28 markets across Europe was completed.
The Mazda 6-year new car warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects and assumes the cost of repairing or replacing affected components. Only wear parts are excluded. Like other manufacturer warranties, the six-year new car warranty is free of charge. When reselling the vehicle within the warranty period, the protection will apply to the next owner for the remaining warranty time or mileage.
“Mazda drivers across Europe now benefit from one of the most comprehensive warranty packages in the industry” explains Martijn ten Brink, CEO of Mazda Motor Europe. “It gives customers peace of mind for up to six years or 150.000 kilometres, but also increases the value of the vehicle when it is sold within this period as a used car.”
Mazda’s new car and mobility warranties are complemented by a twelve-year anti-perforation and a three-year paint and surface corrosion warranty. For battery electric vehicles (BEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV), the company also provides an eight-year warranty on the high-voltage battery for up to 160,000 kilometres.

AVOID! CX-5 with major safety issues
CX-5 with major safety issues. Mazda had a known service bulletin due to issues, but will not fix it due to the fact it does not affect EVERY car in the range. I have been left to drive an unsafe vehicle and have been quoted well over a thousand pound to fix the issue, which they knew about when selling me the car. I have spoken to Mazda customer service who are refusing to help. I am extremely unhappy and will not be purchasing another Mazda car again due to this.
What happened to mazda quality
First mazda 1992. Latest one cx5 not yet 2 years old and the worst car I've owned since 1986. 1 mile after picked up and clutch is guddering. Why that is not picked up on delivery inspection? So first month, new clutch and flywheel. 6 months later oil light, apparently new mazda lose 1 litre of oil every few thousand miles. Never needed to top up cars before, now regular on this one. 11 months - check engine warning light. Exhaust sensor needed replaced. More oil added at 17 month. 23 months old - check engine light again. Another exhaust sensor which mazda uk refuse to replace because their roadside assistance guy cleared the codes. Basically mazda uk shirking the warranty obligations. I can only assume over past 3 years that quality manager at mazda factory has been on permanent leave as there is no quality to these cars anymore.
Got a Mazda cx60 phev on the motability…
Got a Mazda cx60 phev on the motability scheme and thought the car looked great and was comfortable, unfortunately that is where the problems started. The car has so many problems and is a nightmare. If I had read the reviews before getting it I would not have bothered, it goes into the garage to try to cure 12 problems I have listed. I don't thing they will have much luck as it seems to be a bad build.
The suspension is so hard it's awful and the auto gearbox has a mind of its own, bangs on gear changes and jolts you about, changes up and down at will. Drumming sound around 40 mph and to many other problems to list.
Bought a Mazda 3 car Sept 2019
Bought a Mazda 3 car Sept 2019, car now 3+ years old, 32,000 miles. Red light came on - transpires the oil pump is faulty and now I’m told require a complete new engine at a cost of £5000. The car has a full service history. Mazda will only contribute 70% of the cost to replace the engine. I have £1500 to pay for a relatively new car with low mileage. Was the part faulty from time of purchase as the company have no proof of wear and tear? Mazda took 7 days to respond to my phone query and never responded to my email….customer care!!
Mazda customer service department is…
Mazda customer service department is beyond a joke. Sophie Checksfield who is apparently a manager, couldn't care less that the urgent recall on my car means leaving me without transport and me not being able to drive my special needs child around. Worst car maker and I'll be selling my CX3 ASAP and NEVER buying another. She told me to go to the ombudsman so that's what I'll do!
Mazda 2 Hybrid Dangerous and Unsafe. …
Mazda 2 Hybrid is the worst car ever made. It’s unsafe and dangerous due to the steering taking over every time you pass a parked car. It steers you back into the vehicle that is parked on the side of the road. So many near misses and now only drive if I have to due to this horrendous ‘ take over’ of the steering wheel. Mazda in Bury St Edmunds not really interested in solving the problem. A horrid, disgusting car that has features that take over from the driver. Not safe and not nice to drive. Mazdas worst car ever !!
Avoid Buying the Mazdz CX5
This is my second CX5 (71 plate). I had absolutely no issues with my first Mazda CX5 but on my current one the centre control module has a known issue where the buttons / controls become stuck or inoperative.
Unfortunately Mazda's default position on this known issue to state that "a drink or liquid has been spilt and its not covered under warranty". This position is widely reported on many forums where owners have experienced the same issue world wide.
I can categoricaly state I have not spilt a drink or a liquid in my car or over the control console.
To add salt into the wound, the dealership won't cover the cost of a replacement unit as they are merely a "representative" of Mazda and don't control the warranty decisions.
Mazda CX-60
Mazda CX-60
Quite simply this car is very poor the various transmission noises let it down the ride is harsh and unpleasant added to this the car has many diffract noises when driven. The electric range in only 30 miles if you are lucky, and the car information tells you to change the 12volt battery when leaving the car.
For the money it is poor value. Mazda is Zero help and do not want to know.
DO NOT BUY THIS CAR YOU WILL REGRET IT
The worst car maker ever
The worst car maker ever! Massive issues with my CX7. Faults from week two. Dealer did not register the vehicle sale or services leading to massive issues. Mazda UK/Germany and Japan did NOTHING.
So many other issues like: Gear H shifted so couldn’t get it in gear, spoke to Mazda.. seems it was my fault as I am female! Had to get a male to explain the issue before they organised to pick up the car and fix it!
I call Mazda the manufacturer of devil cars!! Please think again before you buy
New CX-5 engine fault a week after purchase
I bought a new CX-5 which, with only 300 miles on the clock, showed an engine warning light. I was advised by Mazda not to drive it and take it to a dealer. My local Mazda dealer couldn’t even take it in for diagnostics for a month!
It took Mazda UK four days to recover the car and provide a hire car, during which time I was without transport. Their response times are glacially slow and the dealer network obviously unable to cope. None of this is reasonable on a new car purchase.
I bought a new Mazda 3 in 2019.
I bought a new Mazda 3 in 2019.
I had a no fault accident in 2021,the rear of the car was damaged, and while still under warranty, it was repaired by a Mazda recommended garage in March 2022.
At the beginning of the cold spell in November last, when I switched on the rear window heater, the radio failed.
I brought it into Mazda before the end of the warranty, and they refused to replace the rear window,(charging me £75 to find the fault) claiming that it was not a warranty issue. This in spite of my claim that the rear window was dismantled by their recommended repairers and put back, and that there was no other way that the wiring in the rear window could have been damaged.
Everyone at Mazda has tried to wriggle out of their responsibilities, and I have decided never to deal with them again. They are small minded and petty.
They have lost a good customer, of 6 years standing, and I suppose they will lose a lot more.
I have a 5 year old mx5 rf bought from…
I have a 5 year old mx5 rf bought from new. It has covered 8500 miles in this time. Garaged, not driven in winter or in fact in rain if possible. Brakes and tyres hardly worn so car not used to its design potential. Mazda service history. Now I’ve just had mot advisory of wear in rear offside suspension bush. Cost to repair is £787.87. Mazda think it’s fine to spend this amount of money, per side every 8500 miles. Reluctantly they offered a good will payment that would leave me with a £400 bill after 8500miles & then potentially a £1500 bill every 8500 miles. Scan reviews and forums and people are saying it happens a lot after 40000 miles plus.
Mazda Uk hang your heads in shame. Your website talks about how you care and pride your customer service.
The only care in your customer service is
Don’t Care
I will never buy from or recommend Mazda again.
You are an ABSOLUTE DISGRACE
2016 Mazda 6
2016 Mazda 6
Had it since new, was a demo car. Never had any difficulties in getting parts or anything wrong. Norwich Mazda and Grimsby Mazda been great help for service and MOT.
Furious, pathetic customer service.
Furious, electrical fault for the 2nd time. Car was 26k brand new less than 2 years old. Was messed around with the roadside assistance, eventually told there was nothing they could do. Cut off 3 times trying to book into garage, eventually told they can’t do anything til 9th of jan, asked for a courtesy car, told I can have one on 27th jan (after car’s been fixed!) Dreadful service. D Cousins GX70JJZ
Just like to say 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback…
Just like to say 2015 Mazda 3 hatchback is one of the most beautiful cars ever built. From the day I bought everyone think it was more expensive than it was. So many manufacturers have copied it style. I wating to update my Mazada, but the model body style is ugly in comparison. I just love the look of my 2015(2014/2018) Mazada 3 hatchback beautiful
The service support from Mazda is…
The service support from Mazda is utterly hopeless, there is a well known issue with Mazda batteries and every time I have a battery problem with my CX-30, they take forever to do anything about it and their roadside assistance is a joke. Still waiting for them to turn up since a call was booked with them 24 hours ago. Would never recommend Mazda to anyone after this abysmal series of very bad experiences.
avoid getting a new non stock Mazda at all cost!!!
I had ordered a new car through my local dealership who have been very good with me. The problem is with Mazda UK itself.
My newly ordered MX 30 was meant to arrive in September. this was then delayed to October, then in October I was told it would be mid November, then in mid November it was pushed to the start of December. only to find out in mid December the car had failed its DVLA checks as it was a new mod
el!!
The customer services couldn't care less, at first constantly talking over me until I had to explain interrupting was rude and uncivilised behaver. in the end despite it all being their fault i am now out of pocket several £1000's of pounds they basically said they wont do anything and that its the dealerships problem to solve.
Customer support unhelpful

CX5 Turbo failure after 37000 miles, repair cost £2500.
Car regularly serviced by Mazda
Basically, told it was my problem - wouldn't mind if it was a unique problem to me but others have had a similar experience.
Stourbridge Mazda -One hour labour to fit battery!
A common battery fault error appeared on my dash. A quick Google search told me it was a faulty battery - confirming it was a very common fault. Mazda Stourbridge (Green4) still insisted on charging me 30mins 'diagnostics' plus a further 30mins to fit a new battery!!! I challenged the labour time but was told '30mins of diagnostics were needed + 30mins labour'. I asked for the diagnostics report and he said he didn't have it. Shocking customer service. Rip-off!
