One of the Best Hosting Companies with Great Service

I have been with this company for 5 years now and have nothing but praise for them.

Before I discovered Lyrical, I was stuck with a hosting company that, at the two year mark, wanted to increase the yearly fee by more than double the price I was already paying, despite the fact that their service seemed to be going downhill. That had also happened with the hosting company I was with before that.

I'm glad that Lyrical changed that trend. I can honestly say that I've had almost zero down time since being with Lyrical. They have also only raised the price of my plan once in 5 years and even then, they did it apologetically.

The willingness of the team at Lyrical to fix any problems on your site, even if it's not strictly to do with hosting is amazing. What's even better is that the service level has remained high, even after 5 years.

When they are resolving a ticket, talking with the team seems more like chatting with friends over email

I guess the only slightly negative thing I could say is that, because there's no live service chat, it can sometimes take time for tickets to be resolved, but the team is very responsive, so I think this is quite manageable.

Having had experience with several different hosting companies over the years, I can confidently recommend Lyrical as one of the best.

Lyrical Host - Hosting company worth staying with

I’m so grateful I found Lyrical Host in 2021, after a frustrating experience with another hosting company.

I’ve fallen in love with how Lyrical Host does business, from the first time I made an enquiry.

Their tech support people are honestly the best! They genuinely care for their customers.

And I have never had any serious website issues with them, except for those tech issues created, unintentionally, by me.

Even though I can’t see their faces, obviously, I always feel they answer tech support requests with a smile on their faces.

And if you’re with Lyrical Host, you would know what I mean by that.

When some of my website pages displayed gibberish characters, LH Support was so reassuring and fixed the issue so quickly.

I even accidentally sent a message where parts were all capitalised, and I felt so embarrassed because it was like a screaming message.

And Joe even took the time to explain why it happened.

When I ask for tech support, they always do extra, which makes me appreciate them more.

Most of my tech support questions are probably “basic”, but I have never felt dumb asking them because their customer service is consistent and always genuinely helpful.

Joe, Gareth, and Michael are legit Tech Magicians.

I like to think sometimes they have a crystal ball. I’m not a techy person, so sometimes when issues are too technical for me, it’s hard to explain things.

But they always get it.

It may sound weird, but when I receive my Lyrical Host bill, I feel happy, and it’s the only bill I’m excited to pay as soon as I receive the invoice.

Because it means it’s another great year with them. I pay yearly.

At the same time, I feel so guilty because it feels as though I’m getting so much for what I pay.

So every November or December, it has been my commitment to buy whatever bundle they offer. All the bundles I got were good and so worth the money.

I don’t go on Facebook much anymore, but I always look forward to monthly emails from Jenni, co-founder of Lyrical Host, and one of the very few women I really love in the online world.

Aside from the fact that she’s down to earth and a kind human being, her emails are full of goodies.

I love the free stock photos. Yes, they’re free, but they are premium quality. I use them on my websites and digital products.

They have so much great stuff in the Resource Library too.

Just the best company

Just the best company, the staff are always brilliant and so keen to help. I had my blog with another well-known company before them and I was in tears all the time because I never understood what they were saying or what was wrong. After moving to Lyrical all my tech problems just disappeared. My website was instantly so much faster and they helped me tweak it even further. Even my visitors commented on how much better it is now. Best of all they did it at no extra cost :) :)

Toxic Communication, Gone Downhill...

It started off great (when I only managed a couple of blogs and was relieved to escape SiteGround's creepy annual price hikes). However, as I began to grow further, unfortunately I noticed that standards were going downhill fast.

When I decided to move to another web hosting company, this took a while as I had to make sure I don't go from frying pan to fire. However, I received little or no help and they refused to refund me for that duration despite refusing to offer customer support to me in that period.

So why did I move? For starters, site speed was incredibly slow. I reached out to this company on several occasions but their advice did not remedy the situation. When I pointed out that their own site was slow and had not followed the advice being given to me, I was met with defensiveness.

Despite promising a lot of support on their sales page (I quote > "Full WordPress and Blog Support: We know WordPress inside out, and we'll never leave you struggling alone or tell you to hire a web developer. Our support team is headed by an experienced, professional WordPress developer, so not only do we provide general hosting, domains, and email support, but we can make small code and cosmetic changes to your WordPress website, answer any WordPress-specific questions you have, provide plugin recommendations, fix errors, and much more...at no extra cost. It’s like having your own WordPress developer in your pocket.") this was not always my experience! I was repeatedly told to hire a developer even for small tweaks.

I think they make such claims in order to attract customers hoping that most people won't take them up on the offer for long - just like gyms after New Year's resolutions. I was with them for about 5 years and in my case, it appears they grew tired of delivering on their promises and descended into full blown rudeness and hostilities. When I repeatedly asked for clarification about what they were willing to do and what was beyond their scope after-all, they said it depends and they would let me know case by case. Still the rudeness continued.

It's not the customer's job to determine scope of what a company is willing to do and it's unfair to make the customer depend on staff moods and whims. Scope needs to be objectively clear.

Often owners are working hard but rude front line staff ruin the business. So thinking it would be helpful to sound the alarm, I reached out politely to the female co-owner (the one who sends out email newsletters and manages a Facebook group for this company) to complain about toxic level rude communication from the most experienced male support worker in the forum and a lady who claimed to be a manager.

She gave me the run around, made excuse about attending a doctor's appointment and stopped responding to my complaint. Something seemed off so I researched online and was shocked to learn that the extremely rude male was actually the co-owner of the company! He was not transparent enough to disclose his role when dealing with my complaint and basically went through the motions of "logging a complaint and getting me a manager" knowing fully well that they were all in it together and would back him up publicly regardless of his offensive actions.

Despite their 'moral code' and all the fluffy stuff written on their about page, I found several interactions (with the aforementioned co-owners and some of the junior staff who were no doubt watching and learning from their shabby examples) to be very toxic. I was very careful to keep emails and screenshots so these remain on file till date.

When I asked questions about their technical architecture, they became very defensive insisting I had to trust them without further questioning or go elsewhere. Bizarre. Why do I have to trust anybody blindly? On the internet? So many things just made no sense until I found out eventually that they are simply hosting re-sellers!

Fortunately, it ended very well for me. I reported them to Visa via my bank and got my money refunded via charge back. I also moved to a web hosting company that actually owns its own servers (not a re-seller with fluffy branding and ethics they don't abide by). So now I am enjoying faster hosting, technical support and communication with decorum. Buyers beware and research.

Response To Excuses:

1. Requested information about your technical architecture was neither found on your website nor provided to me. You did not disclose that you are only a re-seller. I have your rude emails still.

2. How many hours of developer work is stated on your sales page as a maximum? I paid monthly so expect help monthly.

3. Our charge back was successful so that says it all. I've left a good mix of reviews. A few toxic ones who can't take responsibility claim reviews are untrue but note they bully negative reviewers to look perfect online!

We're sorry to hear that after many dozens of hours of free developer work and hundreds of hours of one-to-one technical support from our team (all unrelated to hosting and simply to help you with technical aspects of your business) you're unhappy with our customer service. Our team really did try their best, often replying to you in the small hours of the morning with politeness despite the nature of some of the communications from your side.

The bank dispute was found in our favour as we provided more than we describe in our offering. Unfortunately reading some of your other reviews, it does seem that other companies have mentioned that there are "untruths" in what you say in your reviews, but there are no hard feelings from our side, we're glad to hear you're happy with your new host and we wish you all the best for the future.

Lyrical Host has saved me as a non-techy blogger

Lyrical Host has saved me as a non-techy, savvy travel blogger. I have yet to find something that the customer support team will not/cannot help with (and I reach out with issues often!) My experience with Lyrical Host is night and day from the hosting service I had previously. I have a large, successful travel blog and Lyrical Host has been by my side for years and I never plan to leave.

I've been a customer for many years…

I've been a customer for many years with a top tier hosting company before coming to Lyrical Host. As is the way with so many big companies, the service went downhill and the prices went up.

I moved on to LYRICAL HOST and I have to say, after over two years, they are the best hosting company I've used. The service and support is above excellent. Communication and notification is consistently reliable. In terms of going the extra mile to offer help and advice, they cannot be beaten.

They are an absolute pleasure to work with,and I am happy to recommend them unreservedly as a top tier hosting company, with service, support and maintaining my web presence with reliability and true professionalism.

Great customer service and community

I have been using Lyrical Host for years and can’t imagine I won’t be using them for many more to come. Love the community, the tools and the resources. Customer service is always excellent, responding to questions quickly and actioning whatever needs to be actioned.

Exceptional Customer Service

Lyrical Host is an incredible experience!

It's not just about 'hosting' your website, you feel like you are 'one of the team', collectively making your online journey as easy as possible.

Not only do they offer the best customer service EVER but bring customers together sharing resources and advice in a community Facebook Group.

There are also monthly resources sent directly to your inbox to use for your own promotional materials.

I am a proud affiliate and all the customers I share Lyrical with have always commented on them being a breath of fresh air.

Couldn’t recommend Lyrical Host enough…

The team at Lyrical Host are absolutely fab. As well as helping me with any issues I’ve had with my website they’ve also helped me with other issues including my Facebook account and setting up ads on my site.

They go above and beyond every time I have contacted them with a problem. They are great at communication even if they have had to explain things to me multiple times when I don’t fully understand.

I cannot recommend them enough.

I finally love my website again.

I love my website, finally!! I struggled so much with my website when I was with other companies. I’d contact support when I had trouble and they’d send me to article after article to fix things myself and I often made things worse. I’m so glad I switched to Lyrical Host. They treat me like I’m important, not a burden, and their support team are all the kindest people. I never thought I’d feel this confident with my WordPress site, ever. 💛

Amazing hosting experience!

I used to have websites spread across several different hosts, largely because they were acquired with a host and I was too lazy to move it, or because I wanted to test different options. One of the big shifts I made in 2025 was to move them all to Lyrical Host after seeing just how incredible they are (one site was already there to experience their amazing service and support). I can't recommend them enough!

Best decision ever

From performance to support, everything is just 10/10. It's been 5 years and my site has been running smoothly without any issues ever since I switched to Lyrical Host. Highly recommend if you want WordPress hosting that’s ethical, supportive, and refreshingly human.

I’ve been with Lyrical Host for a while now and honestly, they’re the kind of company you don’t just use, you recommend.

They’re a small UK-based business with a big heart and even bigger ethics. Their support team is friendly, fast, and genuinely helpful (and yes, they’re real humans based in the UK, not bots or outsourced replies). Whenever I or my clients have needed help, they’ve been right there. No drama, no jargon, just solutions.

The free monthly resources like gorgeous images are such a thoughtful touch, it feels like they actually want you to succeed, not just pay your invoice. They offer free malware scanning and cleaning, fair pricing, and a brilliant sense of community through their Facebook group.
