Ordered a Skyline extractor recently. Whilst looking on line, this product is considerably cheaper than similar products on the market. Great customer service
I didn’t buy a hood, but I bought a house which had one fitted. The hood kept dropping down…you know…you’d push it back and the following morning it’d flop open again lol.
Anyway, I dropped Luxair an email with some pictures and had an almost instance response…and they posted me some new grommets the next day.
Problem solved.
If I ever remodel the kitchen, I’ll be getting another Luxair hood! Thanks for the great service; courteous, expeditious and clearly with the desire to be helpful. It’s refreshing. Thanks

Avoid this company- poor customer experience
We ordered a cooker hood from this company which was delivered promptly on Tuesday. Our fitters came on Friday and on fitting the underside of the unit they found it had a number of dents. The fitter stopped and we contacted the company who advised that as we hadn’t flagged this with them within 48 hours they wouldn’t be able to help or offer a replacement. We have spent over £630 with them including delivery and they have now offered a partial refund of £59 plus three free filters. I appreciate that we didn’t check the goods within 48 hours, however it’s clear from the communications that we have had this company do not care about their customers. They also have very limited knowledge of the sales of goods act and satisfactory quality. I would advise to avoid and purchase elsewhere!

We are saddened to see that despite our various emails and phone calls in relation to this, that a negative review was still left after we had confirmation that a mutual resolution was reached.
As we have explained, there is absolutely no doubt that this damage wouldn't have been noticed prior to installation - upon removing the hood from the box and removing the packaging, the damage would have been immediately noticed and at this point should not have been installed.
However, in these circumstances the damage was not noticed or reported until after your installers had fitted the hood. As I am sure you can appreciate, at this point it then makes it impossible to determine where and how the damage has occurred and this is why we stipulate goods must be checked and ourselves notified of any issues within 48hrs of delivery and before installation takes place, we care greatly about all of our customers and having this stipulation in place is to protect our customers as much as us.
If we had been notified within 48hrs that you had received damaged goods & installation had not taken place we would have issued a replacement promptly, with no issues.
In the email/phone correspondence you did mention the sales of goods act, in which we encouraged you to go down this route should you feel necessary, however, you accepted a partial refund and 3 replacement filters instead to bring a resolution to this matter.

Excellent service from a British company
I had a technical query on a ceiling extractor fan, and this was answered promptly. It was only 3 days from ordering the fan to delivery, by Luxair themselves, to the UK South coast.
Their driver Lee was punctual and we inspected the item, he then explained how to handle it during installation to prevent damage. Really happy that all went well, and all from a British company.

Disappointed with the chimney bracket…
Disappointed with the chimney bracket with loose nuts, why aren’t they riveted on like the nuts that attach the curved glass? I didn’t use the new bracket as it was useless and reused the old luxair bracket. I also reused the old stainless steel chimney as the new one was shorter, I didn’t appreciate this the dimensions are buried in the pdf.

The nuts for the chimney bracket cannot be riveted, as you need to be able to move the chimney bracket, the glass is secured by screws and washers, not rivets.
We would really like the chance to be able to help/assist here, and we are saddened that we haven't been contacted to offer assistance.

Our old cooker hood broke down and it…
Our old cooker hood broke down and it was time for something new we started a search on the internet after looking at a lot of companies we found Luxair and so glad we did.
This is the only company we found who describe fully the product including the grade of steel they use we decided on a traditional cooker hood in black delivery was fast and easy for my cousin to fit looks amazing Fanastic Company

Excellent service if you can get used to the web ordering page.
I needed a replacement remote for a cooker hood installed by the developer in my barn. Luxair cooker hoods website showed the exact item I needed. Ordering was ok once I realised I could say I was a “regular customer” rather than a builder or a company. The remote arrived very quickly, very well packaged, complete with battery fitted and worked perfectly. I mistakenly ordered two, but the company cancelled one order and refunded the extra money immediately. I was very pleased with the service. It was also amazingly good value.

Very happy customer
Firstly, the hood looks fantastic. It’s the only one we could find with a curved chimney, which matches our curved cupboards.
Secondly, the service from Luxair was exceptional. I bought the 90cms version hood, but when it came to the kitchen being installed, the fitter said the hood was too big. Luxair arranged a replacement with the 80cms version, and arranged collection and delivery.
Thirdly….and this is important these days…I was able to speak to an actual person! I didn’t have to use email or chat or messaging; they provide a telephone number, answered by Hollie, who was excellent.
Thank you Luxair. Very happy customer.

Ordered a cooker hood it was delivered when expected. Chris the delivery driver brought the hood in, unpacked & checked it to ensure no transit damage. Chris was very friendly & gave some tips on fitting & maintenance. Delighted with the service.
