The service and follow up from the team
The service and follow up from the team throughout the process was terrific. However at the signing stage on the Friday, we were expecting all to go through and have the funds over the weekend. On Monday morning we were advised that someone at Lumi office forgot to include a space for my wife to electronically sign on one document. So, the entire process had to be repeated. A little bit of stress that should have been avoided.

Lumi's underwealming & inefficient loan application process
Lumi's requirements to support the application and eventually processing of my loan were onerous and, at times, erratic. Even after being asked to confirm that no other information was needed as the transfer was being finalised, Lumi had omitted one provision in the standard contract and a new contract had to be issued and signed.
While those I dealt with were curtious, it would be good if Lumi could apply the same type and level of scrutiny that was applied to me, to itself.
Through this process, I have low confidence in Lumi as a lender. The type of loan being offered ended up be completely different to that being sought and this was only revealed with the distribution of the contract for signing.
I think Lumi needs to introduce the concept of applicants being potential/actual customers rather than consumers. This might provide a more customer oriented experience.
In addition, I have considerable sympathy for my broker who had to put in a substantial amount of time and effort for what ended up being not a substantial loan.
Overall... not happy and Lumi should lift their game.

In relation to the loan type, our goal is to provide a suitable product based on the information available. In this instance, there was a gap in communication during the transition from application to final contract, and we acknowledge this should have been clearer.

I am not happy with the experience
I am not happy with the experience. My previous lender was not paid on time , because of which I have to bear the cost one extra day.
When we are in these dealing , it’s better to be transparent. I thought getting the finance from Lumi will be an easy task , but I have not experienced the same.
Now the agreement is signed and money is disbursed , so I cannot help it .

While we worked to turn this around in less than 24 hours, we understand that because the initial letter was only valid for the date of issue, it resulted in an extra day of interest for you.
