It's not comfortable

I purchased my LoveSac because my sister has one and I thought it was pretty cool that it can be changed around, the covers can be washed etc. After purchasing my own LoveSac I have to say, it is not comfortable at all. I choose the down blend and the back pillows do not stay fluffed and my husband dislikes the actual seat cushion as its not comfortable for him. Since my sister has one, I thought I would change out the back pillows with her since she has so many, and still no relief. I have chronic back pain after having spinal surgery in 2018 and although I love the functionality of the LoveSac, it is not a comfortable sectional. This is my 6 month review as I wanted to wait just to see if this is truly the case. My husband and I have to manipulate, add other pillows, or just sit elsewhere to get relief because sitting on this sactional becomes painful. I contacted Lovesac about swapping out the back pillows as I happened to like the seat cushion, but they don't have that option; its all or nothing (meaning I would have to take them all back and swap, I can't keep the seat cushion and just swap out the back). This sectional is rather expensive and I'm very disappointed in this purchase. I did sit on all of the options in the store, but shopping without long term sitting, it's hard to decide which cushion is actually the best. Down Blend I wouldn't recommend especially if you have back issues.

Refuse to Honor Warranty - False Advertising

I have had a SuperSac for years and despite the lifetime warranty on the foam, the foam got flat and doesn't support our weight anymore (I'm about 180 lbs). I made my first warranty claim on the foam and they refused to honor it. I have to pay for extra foam. BUYER BEWARE - LoveSac is falsely advertising their warranty and will not honor it. You have been warned.

poor communication & so expensive for a DIY couch

Ordering was simple enough and we liked the versatility you get with the rearrangeable pieces. It IS very comfortable and nice quality. Our biggest issue was with delivery. My husband and I both work full time and needed to coordinate when the couch would arrive. We live in a walkup on a busy street in a big city. We don't have the luxury of time or space with deliveries. Since we ordered our couch through a retail location, I wasn't able to check up on our order through the website. I spoke to customer service for updates and was assured we would get tracking info once our pieces shipped.

We never got tracking. One random day FedEx called and said they were downstairs with our delivery. It arrived earlier than the estimated 8 to 10 weeks which could be considered a win but without tracking or even knowing it had shipped, we were not at all prepared. I was home to receive the order but my husband was not. The FedEx driver at least helped pack the boxes in our tiny entry way but it was up to me to get all 12 up the stairs and into our condo. The packages are bulky and HEAVY. It was a disaster. For the amount you're paying you'd think it would be delivered fully assembled with white glove service. This is the main reason my rating is so low.

We originally bought a couch through Interior Defined, but after 2+ months of waiting we were told they were bought out and we would not be getting our order. At that point we just needed something and placed an order through lovesac. If we weren't desperate, we would have kept looking since lovesac is so expensive for what you get.

The most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever…

The most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever had. I need about 5 other pillows to make me feel even remotely comfortable…. Do Not Buy!! Not only is it uncomfortable but impossible to move. Trying to place a rig or even simply clean under it takes so much effort. I honestly can’t wait to finally throw this in the trash. I don’t even want to resell because I feel bad taking money for something so terrible.

After spending 12k on the Lovesac…

After spending 12k on the Lovesac sectional, I am completely disappointed! We received 26 boxes and it took 5 adults 2.5 hours to assemble. There was nothing easy about it! Oh yeah and now hooking up the sound and charging system that’s a whole other story…(after 2 days of trouble shooting and disassembling and reassembling which is a pain in the rear still not work correctly) .I see why they don’t offer assembly. Do not buy this sectional if you don’t have a team of athletes to assemble it and an IT guy. It not as easy as they say or make it look on TV. Definitely not worth the money!

DO NOT BUY

Horrible. The sac is HUGE. It flattens out in the most uncomfortable way and has to be fluffed every few days. Well me fresh after having a baby wasn’t told that. Try flipping a 75 pound sac around 2 days after labor. OW. We’ve had ours for 3 years now and the seam of the cover is ripping. They claim to allow you to replace foam but they won’t allow you more than two boxes of foam at 10 pounds a box. My sac is 75 pounds. Make that make sense. So i now cannot use my sac due to ruined foam. Can not replace it despite being told it’s a “lifetime warranty”. But hold on, it’s not lifetime with accidents or normal wear and tear and the covers for the sactional warp and look like bubble wrap after a few washes. Will they replace that? Nope! So the 6k you spent on a sactional and a sac because wow their floor employees sure know how to lie their way into an upgrade, is wasted! So beyond thrilled we made this purchase and SO happy we’re stuck with it now! 🙂

Do better LoveSac. You’re disappointing.

Full body workout

Lovesac does an incredible job on their marketing. They do videos, and commercials of couples re-arranging their couches so easily, and it almost looks fun! The spill red wine, and with a breeze you can take it off and wash it. That part is true. You can take the covers off and wash them. However there's a lot of other couches on the market where you can do the same. It's the putting them back together part that is a divorce waiting to happen! These things are ridiculously hard to put back together! I shouldn't have to skip a day at the gym, because I know I'm going to get my full body workout putting the covers back on. Not worth the aggravation. I own 3 airbnb's and in those I put a pottery barn couch which the covers can be washed as well, in my opinion it is superior to the lovesac.

La-Z-Boy was better, cheaper, and had every advantage over LoveSac

I didn't actually buy LoveSac, so ignore me if you just care about actual customer experience. What I can tell you is this: LoveSac customer service is abysmal, and the paltry quality of the furniture (at least based on the showroom) is far below what it costs. We toured a LoveSac store and it took us a solid 20 minutes to be approached by staff, who even after approaching, felt entirely disinterested in our needs. Eventually, the poor reviews, bad feel and look, and poor service caused us to leave and explore other options. We settled on a La-Z-Boy couch, which we anticipated would cost double the price of a similar LoveSac. Little did we know, we saved about 30% by choosing superior quality. That 30% mark even includes the 5 year warranty and waterproof treatment for La-Z-Boy (didn't see either of these options in the LoveSac store).

We first explored LoveSac with the assumptions that (1) they were affordable for a customizable couch and (2) they were washable and easy to adapt. Our discounted, superior La-Z-Boy was more affordable, and entirely customizable and washable still. If you think these are "pros" for LoveSac, please do thorough research on other companies because many offer these exact same advantages along with better prices and quality.

Can you do negative stars

Can you do negative stars? If you have trouble you will be told you can return it? Great, I spent over 1K on a beanbag chair. Turns out the online dimensions aren't quite right (as it squishes out so much) and it was huge. I wanted the next size down. They send you a garbage bag and tell you to use a vacuum cleaner to shrink the thing into a tiny bag (and it isn't happening). I don't know what to do with this thing.

DO NOT BUY FROM LOVESAC WILLOWBEND- PLANO TX

We purchased our dream sofa during the Black Friday awake in November 2022 not realizing we were purchasing what would turn into a soured experience dealing with Ryan and the Willowbend store.

First, they no long offer in-home set up for a product that cost $10K-$15k. Let me say it’s a nightmare that will leave you in tears if you live alone as it’s practically impossible to assemble this by yourself and the directions do little to nothing for you. Now Jar-Mar was amazing helping me navigate this. His professionalism, compassion and customer service mentality embodied leadership, yet he is just a team member.

Now for the nightmare. The subwoofer which is installed under the sofa before building it was defective. Please not this is a $3-5k product alone. I reached out to the store and after it was determined it needed to be replaced another was order but no communication was provided to us so we just had to wait. At the end of last week we finally got a call to set up the swap out. Ryan came over to swap this out and in the process broke a clamp which now we are waiting for a replacement under warranty. When I expressed the frustration on just how the process has gone but that I still desired to purchase pillows to match our dream-nightmare sofa I asked what concessions could be offered?

Ryan and his DM offered us $21.10 of the matching pillow which cost $422.18….. yes you read that correctly. We were offered $21.10 off for a product costing us $9K. Today I made my first payment on a sofa that was just made functional yesterday. Ryan has shown us that he and his DM do not value people…. They are about sales sales sales!!!

While we were able to enjoy our first movie last night using the sound system I must warn you about dealing with the Willowbend Lovesac store. We do not recommended this store and would encourage you to find another store in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area to purchase from just in case you have any warranty issues! You want to spend your money where they not only value your sale but also your satisfaction which this store does not. I have attached Ryan and his DM’s views of customer service.

As a person in leadership and in management myself… this is not customer service and I’m sure this does not reflect the value of this company as a whole. Willowbend needs new management and the District needs now leaderships if this is what we call acceptable for such a high dollar item.

I will not be purchasing from this location again. We will find another store in hopes of a better experience!

I paid a lot of money because they offer a life-long warranty. Now they do not honor it as they refer to small print that limits warranty to 3 years.

Waste of money

This company does an incredible job at marketing and buying positive reviews to cover its' poor products online. This is the most expensive couch I've ever bought and the most uncomfortable to sit or lay on. This is one of the things you buy and feel it was the worst investment ever. There are much better couches available for half the cost. Buy this couch and you'll regret it.

Ordered a 9 piece sofa online

Ordered a 9 piece sofa online, called the next day to confirm our order and the service rep changed it from a 9 seat to a 4 seat, charged the same price. We are missing half our order weeks later and their service is pathetic. Disputing all charges. For a $10k sofa to have to be assembled by me and the cluster this has become is beyond aggregating.

I recently ordered new Lovesac Sactional covers. Per the Lovesac.com site, the color was titled “Graphite” and came with no further product color description. The picture displayed a cover colored as dark ash gray. The delivery time frame indicated that they were in stock and could be delivered within 1-2 weeks. I called after roughly five weeks of not receiving the product and finally received the merchandise the following week. This totaled a 6-week delivery time frame rather than the advertised 1-2 week.

Upon opening the boxes, the cover material was light brown, not the Graphite color that had been advertised.

I immediately called Costumer Service and as requested, sent a picture of the product. I also offered to take the merchandise in to our local Lovesac Showroom so they too could see the discrepancy. However, each blindly repeated that clearance items are non-returnable even if the item is not what was advertised. The Show Room Manager (Sierra of the Spokane WA River Park Square location) was particularly rude and dismissive and replied that this was not a Show Room problem. It was only after I pursued the complaint that she offered to escalate my issue but then threatened not to unless I was more “co-operative.” Keep in mind that my “lack of co-operation” consisted of a grave concern that neither she nor anyone I have spoken too has used ethical common sense to resolve the issue and that I needed someone who would.

I have fallen victim to bait and switch advertising by Lovesac. My only conclusion is that various covers were incorrectly dyed and in order to sell them, they were sold at clearance using the correctly dyed product picture. Once the item is received and the customer calls attention to the discrepancy, Lovesac claims no liability due to the non-returnable clearance policy.

Its not the most comfy couch and the fabric that we chose is junk. I do not think its worth the purchase price. If you have a warranty issue, you have to send the piece back and they will send you a new one THREE WEEKS LATER. What a joke.

A Class Act

We went to the Columbia MD Lovesac mall store on a Saturday purchased our sactional (with the Stealth Tech) and it showed up on my front porch the next Thursday in 19 boxes.
Yes, putting it together is a bit tiring & the covers can be problematic if you don't put them in the right way. You'll have to figure that out. Once you start to put them on the finished sactional you'll see what I mean. Customer service has been fantastic, more than helpful. I've even gotten texts from the store manager about our order. From what I've experienced this company is a class act, I am super satisfied & impressed with our overall experience.
I only have 1 complaint... I wish that the back cushions were more supportive. We chose the Lovesac fill and they are just not as supportive as I remember them being in the store. We also chose the deep seating option and LOVE this! I totally recommend this option with it you'll have plenty of room to snuggle down with a fluffy blanket.
