No love for Lovesac
In my life buying Lovesac rates as the second worst purchase I made , next to my waterbed. Considering I could have had an expensive RH sofa for that money stings me always. The essence of the matter is it’s the most uncomfortable sofa I ever sat. I am not blaming anyone. I failed to do my due diligence and got caught up in the convenience aspect!!!

I recently seen Love Sac at a roadshow. I asked a gentleman working the road show about the angled cup holder. He said the ones that he had there were for display but the store had some marked down 60%. I googled them and I found that they were $45.50. He was kind enough to call the store for me and ask them to hold two of them and that I would come in and purchase them at the Rochester hills Michigan location. When I got there and tried to purchase them they were $67 marked down 60%, so out the door would have been $27. I didn't realize that they were floor models and that they were scratched and I told one of the girls working at the counter that I had found them online for $45.50. And I showed her my Google search on my phone. She said can I take your phone into the back room and show my manager he's on an conference call. I explained to her no she couldn't take my phone into a different room that she could Google it herself and show him on her phone. Before he came out I tried to purchase this scratch and dent 60% off cup holder I was informed I had to give them my name My address My phone number and my email to create a profile. I couldn't just purchase the cup holder. I told them I didn't want to create a profile I just wanted to purchase the cup holder. Well Mike the manager came out from his conference call and said I don't know what the problem is here You're already getting this cup holder at a markdown price of 60% off. I tried to explain the problem was I shouldn't have to give my name my address my phone number and my email just to purchase a cup holder I didn't know that that was a membership type of business. Mike inform me that I had to create a profile I said I'm not giving you my personal information . I said when you go to JCPenney's when you go to Kroger when you go to meijer's you don't have to give all that personal information. He said if you want to use your rewards card you do. He said they needed all that information for tax purposes. I explained to him no you don't. Needless to say I went home without my overpriced scratch and dent 60% off cup holder. The manager Mike at the Rochester hills Michigan location has probably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life

Worst company and customer service. Products and photos are misrepresentation and don’t match specs online. You will be stuck with a product they will not return, I recommend you find another option or you will be out 100s of dollars on a cheap product.
Overpriced and Extremely Difficult to Assemble
Was misled about the ease of assembly and laundering. We loved the look and comfort of the Sactional. I will say they are expensive but we were fine with that until we received the 27 boxes and had to assemble. We did inquire about set-up and delivery and even offered to pay for the service but they do not offer it. They insisted it was very easy to assemble and would take us a couple of hours. LMAO That could not be further from the truth. It took my husband 12-14 hours and even so, the covers are not perfect because it is so difficult to get them on smoothly. Our Sectional looks nothing like the one in the showroom. They did offer to provide us packaging to return at no charge but that would involve breaking it all down again and hauling to a shipper. We would never make another purchase at from this company unless they offered delivery/set-up. It was a huge expense for a piece of furniture that we are not happy with.
First off
First off, putting the couch together took all day and was a wrestling match to say the least. The couch cushions are Velcro to the couch and you get gaps in between the individual cushions about 1/2 inch so your constantly feel like your falling in-between these spaces in between the couch cushions. Once you get the couch together you better not try to rearrange it because your in for a whole day of fighting with the wooden blocks that you have to put the couch pegs in. Big waste of money over $3500 and it's too late for me to get a refund but if I could help you not get suckered into buying this piece of garbage I will. I wouldn't even walk into the store if I knew what I know now.
canceled my order without refunding money or communicating with me & left me without a couch for weeks
Well 9 weeks ago I ordered a couch from Lovesac at the pinnacle hills show room because they had a specific color I was wanting for my living room - I had spent weeks searching for the perfect couch and was happy to find this store locally- I was told it would take 8-10 weeks for it to come in because it was a custom order. No problem- I can do that. Well today (9 weeks later) I called to check on it and was told my order had been rejected & canceled a week after I placed my order and no one ever bothered to call & tell me or refund my money. I am livid that no one bothered to call and at least try to reorder my couch- apparently whoever placed the order made a mistake. I would Not recommend this company if you’re in the market for a couch, especially a custom one.
I even called the store first and they didn’t say anything about the order being canceled or rejected just that I needed to call the main office for the order status.
Now I am back to square one for a couch because it would take another 8-10 weeks to order and after this ordeal they are not
getting my business.
This store manager needs to be reported to headquarters for incompetence. This should absolutely not be allowed to happen. We moved into a new house, Had gotten rid of all our old furniture and have been without a couch for 9 weeks. A simple apology just isn’t enough- This is not acceptable.
NOT “Designed for life” with PETS
They advertise to be “Designed for Life” and to be kid and pet friendly. Warranties do NOT cover PET damage - we understand if a dog chewed up the couch that it shouldn’t be Lovesac’s responsibility. However, for them to claim to be kid and Pet friendly then it should handle spills. Cushions and covers are NOT waterproof! Why not?! Whether from my dog or from someone spilling a drink, if it can soak through the outer and inner cover into the cushion then the washable feature is worthless and makes this big investment a bad one. The upper cushions don’t even have a removable cover and are too big for the washer. I have waterproof covers on all my mattresses and pillows that don’t feel like plastic or make noise when using them. Would be an easy fix for Lovesac to put them on all the cushion inserts. Very disappointing. The ability to clean up messes was the reason we chose Lovesac in the first place.

They will take you for the ride of your life. They'll lie the whole time until you spend 9K you didn't plan to spend to in order to finally have a couch you can use. There is no continuity in customer care and you will always get a new person with no way to escalate. They will aways pitch you to buy more and their lies result in more sales for them, with no end in sight. "sectional couch" lol
Buyer Beware
First of all the store tried to sell it for the regular price when we knew about the sale. Delivered it with all different pillow. Hard n smash down to nothing pillows. By the time we put the covers on our hands are bleeding from trying to get the pillows into the covers. Thought I could rearrange it that's why I bought it. It's so heavy n you have to take it apart to do so. I call it THE COUCH FROM HELL. Nobody was comfortable on it. So buyer beware don't waste your money it's Garbage! Big waste of $8000.00.
I never got to the poor sitting/comfort…
I never got to the poor sitting/comfort experience that some reviewers have described here. I placed an order for a rather expensive Lovesac sectional. The order went thru, no problems. Two hours later, I get a cryptic email that looks like a phishing email that says nothing more than click here or call - your order has been cancelled. No logo, no idea who sent it because the domain was odd. So I ignored it as spam.
Later in the day my wife asks when the couch will be delivered. So I log on to Lovesac.com, only to find they cancelled the order I placed. No explanation. I called my credit card company to see if there was a problem. They said the merchant cancelled the order. It was approved.
So I get on chat with Lovesac. When I finally get to a human, the rep cannot explain what happened or why. First she looks up the wrong order, corrects that, yet still cannot explain why they cancelled my order.
A ticket was created. Nobody followed up. Not yesterday or today. So I'm done. The order can stay cancelled and I'll buy a couch someplace else.
This kerfuffle inspired me to check on their reviews, which I should have done first. It may have been a stroke of luck that this mystery cancellation happened because there seems to be an awful lot of consumer complaints about the product and the service/support.
I can't comment on the quality of the product but my buying experience suggests to me they are a great marketing company but not so good at managing business operations. Lovesac has lost me as a customer. I'm ordering an expensive couch from another company I trust. I'm not confident that if anything else were wrong, Lovesac would quickly make it right.

To be fair I posted a complaint about waiting for months. Customer service was very supportive and helpful. My original order was placed four months ago. I was told I would have it within two weeks. I am still waiting past the two weeks they told me but I think it’s coming soon. It is an excellent product if they could just get it to you in a timely manner I think they would get a lot of four and five star reviews. Don’t hesitate to buy the product if you can wait.

If I could give our experience with Lovesac 0 stars, I would. Buyer beware you will spend $6,000 on a couch to receive bottom of the barrel customer support and an attitude of "not my problem".
After a lot of research on the best deep seat couches on the market, we decided to proceed with Lovesac, especially because we lived very close to a showroom and could try it for ourselves.
On March 10th, we purchased a Lovesac couch with a price tag of $6,000. We were not closing on our new home until 03/29 and informed our associate that we would not need the couch before then. Not to worry, he said, even if the couch was ready, they could hold it in their warehouse and release it a few days before we needed it. When we left, we inquired again to make sure the hold was in place, and signed paperwork confirming we were going to hold the couch until we contacted Lovesac to release it.
Lo and behold, we get a notification from the store that our couch had shipped and was released, due to deliver on the 23rd - a full week before we needed it.
We contacted the store to advise that there was no way we could receive the couch because we do not have access to our new home. Not to worry, Lovesac said, we will have it rerouted to our warehouse. I had to call 3 times to confirm that they would not be delivering the couch because there is no way we could receive it.
Much to our dismay, but not much of a surprise, the couch was LEFT ON THE SIDEWALK in front of our new home.
Once I called Lovesac to inform them of this, it was a Sunday and they couldn't do anything with their carrier to come and get it. I advised them to forget it, we will figure something out on our end to resolve it.
You would think this is where the saga ends, but the hits just keep on rolling from Lovesac.
There was one part of our shipment of the couch that was outstanding. Wouldn't you know, they rerouted it back to their warehouse when we explicitly told them not to. Now, we don't have all the pieces to put the couch together.
When I called today to voice my frustration, I was met with a manager named Alex, who couldn't have given less of f*** about our situation and said he would need to "contact someone above his pay grade" to handle our situation because I requested that they expedite the remainder of the couch so we could have it on the day we were promised. When he said he would need to request that from his superior, I asked if I would get a call back confirming that the shipment was expedited and potentially receive some compensation for this headache, his response was "it's up to my supervisor if they want to deal with you further".
When I say this is the WORST customer service I've ever experienced, it's not an overstatement. This store is clearly uninterested in doing anything other than making the customer feel that the mishaps they caused are the customer's fault. 0/10 would not buy again.
DONT PUT ON SIDE PIECES FIRST
The covers and cushions itself are great. However....it's super tedious and annoying to put together. Easy to change your layout? Ya right. Easy to wash the covers? ya right. Oh and super fun they don't tell you nothing will fit properly if you attached the sides first. Spent hours trying to figure out what was wrong. 8k$ couch, nightmare to put together. BUT the couch itself when all said and done is fantastic. my lord what a pain
Disappointed
I had some high hopes for my lovesac couch. I was excited about all the options we had in configurations. After 3 month, one of the cushions started to lose its firmness. I contacted lovesac and they didn’t do a thing. I sent them pictures like they asked but no response. Here we are 3.5 years later and every other cushion we have has lost its firmness. For the amount of money we spent on this couch you would think it would have better quality cushions. On top of that, changing the configurations is NOT as easy as they make out to be. I’m pretty disappointed. Wished I spent my money elsewhere.
Worst customer service
I ordered a couch during the summer...it was custom covers so it took till oct to receive it. When i did they messed up and sent a regular side instead of the deep side. When i spoke to the store - it was like they were blaming me for the mistake. Instead of right away sending the correct piece they had me wait till i sent the extra side back. Which was difficult-My area is not the best for packages. They gave me the option of pick up fedex from my place or bring to a ups store. It was a battle just to get my new piece. I just got the new piece DECEMBER. They would not release the piece till the incorrect one was sent back (sending it back another catastrophe) . Other companies i have dealt are quick to correct errors. LOVESAC was the worst customer service ever. I will never buy from them again

I've purchased sectionals in the past and the attitude is usually "figure it out" from the companies. Lovesac has a lot of support materials included with the purchase and it has made the process very smooth. Good job Lovesac! Thank you again. The kids love the couch!

Literally, the worst $6,500 purchase I’ve ever made.
Frumpy, ugly looking after you sit on it. None of the cushions match up after you sit on them. The back cushions are ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. They do not look nice, but rather crammed together and bulky. I don’t even know how to describe them. I’m embarrassed that I spent so much money on these couches that look like absolute crap. I’m shocked this company is still in business.
Side note, you’ll never want to wash these covers because they’re absolute HELL to put back on. What a scam.

Stay away
Stay away. Don’t buy into the hype. The fabric isn’t sown properly and will show the inserts. Pain to get the legs to fit in the holders. Highly overpriced for the hassle. It’s hard to rearrange, so if you’re never going to do that, there is no point. Skip this. Worst purchase I made. At least this way you can expect to have a crappy experience.

Need to leave good review here because I agree with another... the bad reviews are USER ERROR!!! these are amazing!!! The people at the retail locations are AWESOME and helped me place my order for the new angled sides. I was ready to buy the other one, but was convinced to wait a few weeks and I'm so happy I did. This couch is awesome. I had to put it together alone and I'm a small woman. I was sweating for sure by the end... but it is doable. I do wish they at least offered it to be delivered and assembled with white glove service... the task of getting rid of that much cardboard alone was a feat! But I'm SO happy with my couch. I've heard issues with the lovesoft fill so I went with the original and its great. Maybe a tiny stiff at first but these things are built to last and the one I sit on the most, after a few weeks, is already wearing in so nicely. They recommend keeping one shipping box incase you want to return one or exchange.. maybe one cushion is weirdly not totally filled right and you want to exchange. I didn't have that problem but I got that advice. I love my couch. Its massive (I have it going three deep seats and an ottoman on one side. This couch is awesome. THey should offer a delivery option but whatever. Im so happy! I never want to move and will be sitting in this spot for the rest of my life.
