Incredible experience from start to finish. The team took time to explain every step of the process and products. There is even competitive rate finance packages which allowed me to complete this project I otherwise would not be able to do.
The sheer knowledge of the teams is outstanding and now I know what to look out for if a company isn't legitimate.
The 15 year guarantee backed by The Home Improvement protection scheme means I have no worries on my investment and I was shown how to check on the NFRC to see if a company is legally able to install a roof.
Installation was completed in days with no disruption or damage and my roof is now the envy of the street with so many compliments.
Thanks to everyone involved in this journey. Such a professional company. You won't be disappointed!

Great roughcasting job, team were friendly, polite and very efficient. Lomond were really flexible in finding a suitable weather window and kept me updated throughout and turned up on time.
Team were very helpful and even dismantled wall brackets etc for me prior to starting the work.
Professional job including thorough clean up, would certainly recommend.

The house looks great and all the neighbours are commenting on how good it looks. The only down side is the lack of communication from the company as to when the work will be carried out and what is going on. A tip for you, communication is essential when conducting any type of contract or works.

Lomond fitted new gutters and soffits for me. One gutter leaks in two places. Over 18 months later and Lomond has not rectified and clearly isn't interested. This was reported before the warranty expired. To be fair, someone did come out to fix it at that time. However, the leak remained. Lomond phoned me and claimed it was the style of house that was the problem despite the previous gutters having held up for over 50 years.

Despite saying it was working with us, Lomond never contacted us at all after it posted that reply. The gutters now leak so badly, they need to be ripped out and replaced.

Seriously folks, avoid this company like the plague.

I found Lomomd Improvements very helpful and quick to respond to calls. My father had a roof completed over a year ago and we had to call the office for some assistance. They were quick to respond which I'm very grateful for. Super aftercare.

Worst company I’ve dealt with replaced roof tiles but not the gutter board and gutters take it from me avoid this company I had a member of staff come to see me bringing the salesman who wanted to charge me £1,200 to replace gutters over the huge price of replacing the roof.

Great company to do business with. Lewis the sales rep very knowledgeable and helpful. All materials and scaffolding arrived when they said it would and only bad weather delayed start. Work carried out looks well done, only time and the great Scottish weather will tell. Thanks

The rep, Lewis, who came had an excellent knowledge and spent a long time with us explaining everything. The work was carried out in the exact timeframe given. The guys from Lomond have done a really nice job ,the new roughcasting makes my house look like new . Lewis who gave me a quote and explained everything step by step, was really nice . The polish guy who did the survey was quick and nice too . The roughcasting was done in a day and then the scaffolding and the rubbish was taken within 4-5days so overall a really good experience, going to use Lomond in the future again.

We had roughcast work carried out recently and cannot thank the guys enough on the work they carried out. Bad weather held them up on the first day . The team worked without a break to completer the works the following day. Work carried out to a high standard . Roughcast has made a massive difference to the property. We'll done to all involved

The roofing was absolutely first class but the setting up and clearing away stopped this from being a 5* experience as our drive was out of action for a fortnight due to the skip being delivered early and then stillnot picked up days after the roof had been completed.

They replaced roof on my neigh ours property... illegal scaffolding abusive workers deliberately harrassed my dog deliberately banging on scaffolding with metal pipes and barking at him exacerbating an already serious heart condition. I was verbally abused and physically threatened by their workers and send video evidence of this to their employers and abuse continued. They wrecked my property in the process of carrying out neigh outing works and the chaos and debris they left behind them was appalling. 3 out of 4 neighbours punctured tyres shortly afterwards on nails screw etc just been dumped, drains blocked with horsehair and soot that they took off the old roof.... photographs sent to company as evidence and to date not been responded to....criminal behaviour from start to finish wouldn't have them anywhere near me.... came out 6 weeks ago and fried up a tarpaulin as neighbour and myself getting flooded from the "new roof" and no sign of anyone since to actually repair it

After someone knocked out door asking if we wanted an no obligation quote, we agreed to someone visiting give one. The man who quoted for us was really good and personable, I think his name was David. We got our quote and our neighbours heard we were getting a new roof and they signed up too at the same time. The organisation was a bit of a mess at the beginning, delivery showing up day before we expected it. Skip showed up too soon before scaffolding so didn't have skip for a few days. The roof team were good and we were happy with the end result of how the roof looks. We had slate tiles removed (they appeared to sell or recycle these - we weren't notified of which). The opted for getting our gutters done too, from cast iron to plastic as the salesman said the steepness of our roof needed deeper gutters. After all finished, took ages for them to remove the scaffolding. A lot of mess and nails in our garden. I had to move various pallets etc from our driveway so we could get our car in. We signed off as happy at this stage.

Then the gutter started leaking massively when raining heavily, they took months to get back to us, didn't send anyone to see but said they didn't. (We have a ring doorbell). The guy who dealt with us throughout Stephen Gowan (or similar name) was terrible, kept saying they ha been out, they were ordering parts or anything to put us off. They never contacted us to give updates, always us chasing them. Terrible aftercare service. They tried to charge us more money for an inspector to visit. In the end we asked Stephen didn't deal with our issue anymore and he still called my husband at work etc. Lindsay took over but we didn't hear from her. In the end for our own mental health!! We asked a friend to replace the downpipe and all seems to be fine now. I may add that downpipes were listed in our original quote and removed when decided might not be needed.

I was kept informed of every stage (when units had been built, to when skip would be delivered & fitters on site). Had a weeks delay due to Covid, but any questions were answered promptly.

Charlie & Bob were the fitters & nothing was too much trouble for them. Kept me well informed of what they were going to be doing that day, cleaned up after themselves each night. They answered any questions my young children had about the equipment they were using (without complaint). Nothing was too much trouble for these 2. They went above & beyond. My new kitchen looks amazing & I would recommend Lomond Improvements to everybody. It's not a flatpack kitchen, so does cost that bit extra BUT so worth it when you see the finished product. Well built & sturdy, as well as stylish.
