Shocked at awful service

Meds ordered through app not processed for over a week before they were ready to a customer who has a serious condition. Telephone nor emails are not answered so queries are not dealt with. If you call queues are long lots of staff have left something seriously wrong.

Dreadful experience this morning in…

Dreadful experience this morning in Lloyds Nutgrove when I requested an emergency inhaler for my daughter who was having an asthmatic episode. Explained I could sent the prescription in later to no avail. Very disappointed that the staff could not respond in a human manner to an emergency situation. Thankfully I got sorted in another pharmacy who we able to respond appropriately and then got the prescription from my GP surgery. Will not be supporting McCabes again

Terrible experience this evening

Terrible experience this evening - went in to get 2 items of over counter medicine. No other customers in shop - sales assistant sorting something behind counter - she then had conversation with (out of view) pharmacist - despite my coughing, having already made some shuffling noises - sales assistant didn’t even bother to turn around !! So left the item I was planning to buy back on shelf and left… went next door to Magners where the service was top notch !! So if in killester in need of a pharmacy - go to Magners & avoid appalling service in Lloyds - disgraceful !

Avoid unless you like disappointment so many better online shops available that can be trusted to fulfil their order.

I ordered some items online and waited patiently for delivery but after a week I contacted Lloyds through their online website and they replied and told me that my items were not yet sent out. So after waiting another 3 days for the items to be posted I received an email stating my funds were refunded due to the fact that they were out of stock. I returned to their website and reordered a lesser amount of the same items that were still available online for purchase and paid in full and once again I waited for the postage notification but yet again the money was refunded to my account stating that they were out of stock. How can you order something that's not in stock? I contacted Lloyds to ask the question but got no reply. I will not order from this site again as it's unreliable and untrustworthy and I'd advise everyone else to do the same. It's a joke of a company. Avoid avoid avoid.

Helpful and patient

I had difficulties with transferring my prescription from my pharmacy to Lyods in the parkway and despite all kinds of problems the lady, whose name I didn't get, was patient and persistent and I got the insulin I urgently needed.

Very poor responsiveness

Baltinglass store, Co. Wicklow

Very poor responsiveness. Stood in the pharmacy as 8 others came after and left before me. Would not recommend unless you have an hour to spare and even then, I would go elsewhere in future.

AVOID

Left me, a cancer patient without medication for my holiday. Prescription dropped in the day before, they have all my info and never bothered to contact me so I went to collect my prescription the next morning and they said oh it will be tomorrow before we have it. I was flying abroad the next day and had no medication. This was in the supervalue Lucan store. I took a picture of the confirmation to say my email was sent from their website also. I contacted their customer service to complain in writing on 11/6 and no one bothered to respond.

Kilbarrack Shopping Centre

Absolute shambles since Gareth left branch, prescription was sent @ 9am, I went to collect @ 2pm, told me I collected last week, I then explained it was only sent this morning, she then asked was Junior or senior (senior passed away 5 years ago) shocking!!!

basically you have to go in to make sure they've printed the emailed prescription then come back two hours later to collect actual medication.

Condescending pharmacist

I called in to the Grand Parade on my lunch break with a horrific toothache I'd had since during the night. Having tried ibuprofen max and paracetamol, I decided to get some Nurofen plus to get through the weekend. Earliest dentist appointment I could get was the following week. Anyway, after the 100 questions from the OTC girl ( which I totally understand and believe is necessary) she went to ask the pharmacist who then came out and proceeded to talk to me in the most condescending manner asking the same questions. She told me if paracetamol wasn't working, it's South Doc I should go??? For a toothache? Now I know from previous experience ( 10 years ago) a doctor will simply tell you go to the dentist and tell you try Nurofen plus combined with paracetamol. They don't deal with teeth obviously! I physically couldn't go to the dentist until the next week number 1 but what about people who can't afford a 100€ dentist appointment and just want the pain gone. I explained it was just to get through weekend but she told me Panadol 4 times a day would do the same as Nurofen plus. It doesn't, hence why the pack specifically says toothache on the packet on Nurofen. I simply said no problem, walked out the door across the road to boots. Lovely girl who asked the questions, said you poor thing and asked the pharmacist there. He was lovely, understanding and said yeah the Nurofen would definitely help more than paracetamol. He gave me 12 with the precaution of no more than 3 days which is appropriate. The pharmacist at Lloyd's said it was a restricted item which I get but it's restricted so no one can buy multiple boxes. It's meant for situations like mine to take for a couple days max. She was condescending and simply on a power trip. This conversation was had right in middle store in front of everyone, no discretion had and I was made feel like a criminal. You can assess a sale without this attitude. She obviously doesn't like giving them out for any reason cause if a pain is bad enough paracetamol doesn't work, her attitude is to see a doctor. That isn't always necessary or practical. I also might not be able to afford south doc but that's a different point altogether. Another pharmacist confirmed I met the criteria, I wasn't a regular customer of Nurofen plus either. If I was, again, I would understand. Perhaps staff need more training on when to sell Nurofen plus? Ultimately, I'd get over her decision if she wasn't so condescending in the process. It's her right I understand and I do appreciate they must exercise caution but I fell under the criteria as was confirmed in Boots. I told them the exact same thing. I just don't understand her logic thst South Doc was the answer. Needless to say, I will never be in there again to buy anything which is a shame as I bought load of skincare in there over the years as it's close to my work. She literally shamed me right in the middle of the store. I can never go in there again!! Thank god for Boots. The pharmacist in there is so lovely for anyone in Cork.

Leopardstown branch

Leopardstown branch . The new pharmacist is an absolute nightmare. She seriously needs to go on a communication course . She makes you feel like you are begging for your child's life long illness medication? She can't for the life of her get an order right & when you question something that had been order over 3 weeks in advance she has the nerve to speak to you like its your own fault the medication isn't ready ? Her manner & attitude is disgusting. I will never set foot in this place again. She seems to think its okay to leave a child with a life long illness without tubing & the medication needed to survive. Absolutely shocking .

The Donnybrook branch is the worst…

The Donnybrook branch is the worst pharmacy you could ever step into. 25 mins waiting on a prescription they will go out of their way to make you go away and come back later. The girls in the shop are badly trained and don't know where anything is when you ask. They opened at 11am, my prescription for my child was on their system I was the first person here and they said come back in 10 mins which I did, which is a mistake because they actually then didn't start the prescription preparation until I said it to them when I came back they had me last in the queue even though I was there at 11am. They look at you like you are mad when you ask them a Q. Can see the frustration on other customer faces, especially elderly customers. Would never return.
