The fact that our account is FDIC insured was an important selling point along with the $200 sign on bonus. The nearly 4% interest was higher than my previous bank .

SBA Express Loan Win
Recently closed on an SBA Express loan through Live Oak and the customer service I received from Live Oak was phenomenal.
Ellison, Brandon, and Caleb had my back through the entire process, which proved critical when we encountered some issues from the SBA. I spoke with folks at the SBA as we were resolving some of these issues and they also had only positive things to say about Live Oak. Thanks again to the whole team for their responsiveness and professionalism.

Interest rates are usually competitive.
Instructions for processing mature CD’s always are presented well in advance of maturity date and options fully explained.

I love how easy it was to open a high yield savings account! The linking of my other accounts to transfer money was so smooth too! I also appreciate how simplistic the app is. I don't need to many fancy things for a place to simply store my savings. Thank you for making it so easy!

Venue is terrible
Venue is terrible. No slope on seating makes it very hard to see. Will never buy a lawn seat again because of the obstructed views.

Customer Service Great; Interest Rate Not So Much . . .
The good news is that when my account was hacked and $20,000 stolen, Live Oak Bank worked diligently to retrieve it and succeeded. It is an act for which I will be eternally grateful. But their interest rate has continued to fall ever since I opened my account.
