wallpaper sample

I ordered a wallpaper sample and it was sent to me as wrapping of another colour sample. Moreover, it shows the most uninteresting part of this wallpaper pattern.

I did receive the sample pots and they are very nice. However the second wall paper sample with the bluebells never arrived. (was not included in my delivery.) I was a bit disappointed about that.

Other than that the first wallpaper looks good.

Very watery and requires lots of coats.

We bought the paint due to its eco-friendly ingredients and were willing to pay the price because of this. We aren't people who are terribly put off by the price of things if they're of good quality and environmentally friendly. The emulsion paint is very runny and requires more coats than normal, okay fair enough - just makes this paint more expensive than normal alternatives but okay we accepted it is what is. However the wood paint - intelligent satinwood is absolutely awful. It's un-useable, its wet, runny, you need to apply so many coats and due to its wetness its a terrible finish. It's also far shinier than any satinwood I've ever used its more gloss like. Until they improve their paint quality it's a complete no go area for me.

Really Good Customer Service

I ordered two sample tins of paint. First delivery was left, leaking all over my landing. I mentioned to Littlegreene when I contacted them that 1 safety clip was inadequate in my opinion, given that the tins were travelling a fair distance. Second delivery arrived, tins had again burst open and paint was leaking everywhere!! Now you may wonder why I gave them a 4 star rating? It is because Customer Services emailed me back, by return, apologised at this happening for a second time, offered a refund as a gesture of goodwill and asked if I would like sample pots sent out for a third time. Now whilst my experiences were unfortunate at least this Company tried to diffuse the situation and make amends. However I'm not tempting fate with a third delivery, now that the shops will be open soon I'll wait and collect the paint in person!!

Bad customer service, bad paint

This paint is very expensive and requires more coats than much more affordable paint. It does not have a very nice finish. More importantly, when we accidentally ordered eggshell finish for a top up of paint we already had, they wouldn't exchange for matt emulsion, even though we hadn't even opened the pot of paint - it was new and totally unused. Terrible customer service. Will not use them again.

Extortionate, hidden call charges for Customer Service

I called Little Greene Customer Service and although very helpful my 9 min call cost, I now know cost me £12!!!!!. I spoke with my provider and they advised it would be Little Green who set the call rate not them, I know 0845 numbers cost more than local rate, but this is ridiculous. Nowhere on their Customer Service webpage do they give the rate/per min of calls to their 0845 number. BE AWARE don’t get caught like I did.

I was painting my lounge, hallway, landing, dining room and bedroom in their colours, but I will now look elsewhere.

Pretty terrible finish

Pretty terrible finish, with both roller and paint brush. Cutting in was a nightmare with the Intelligent Matt as the paint does not adhere to surfaces if you brush over the area more than once. Seems to only want to stick after a second coat. Paid extra for this paint for a better finish. Don’t waste your money. Or maybe waste a lot more and buy their undercoat also? The absolute matte has a fairly nice chalky finish but is not nice to work with. The intelligent matte is very poor quality and doesn’t dry up any different to a standard wipeable emulsion.
Love the Little Greene colours, such a shame about the poor quality of the paint itself.

'intelligent' paint low quality

Purchased their 'intelligent' paint for some wood indoors. The paint is hard to apply, needs at least 3 coats, and I found it very low quality in terms of durability. For the price (almost 3x Dulux) it is not worth the money at all. Do not buy.

DISAPPOINTED....I’ve spent not far off

DISAPPOINTED....I’ve spent not far off £1000 on little green paint recently for a house renovation, after talking to a little greene customer rep for choice of product advice & suitability, i felt happy to proceed with purchase. I bought locally then from one of their suppliers.
Despite using a long established professional decorator & following procedures prepping walls, mist cost, proper equipment etc I have mud cracking all over the walls it was used on.
Little green say temp too cold or coats not dried properly. I dispute this as weather wasn't even cold enough for heating to go on & the walls were 100% dry between each coat, as a coat was applied one day then work on other rooms in house done before another coat was added, coats weren't done on same day even on same wall. I do still have to provide batch numbers but doubt a refund will occur nor compensation to repay decorator to re paint, thats besides the mess of sanding down! I will update &/or add to my review with outcome.
I’m Extremely disappointed. Ive used little greene off & on for over a decade & spent ALOT of money on their products to date, as i move frequently & have done up numerous properties.
Im now in a position of decorating a whole house again but as no refund nor compensation to rectify cracking issue nor guarantee won’t happen again has been offered, I felt my hand has been forced to go elsewhere for this full house decoration.
Granted this purchase will only be around 150 litres & not effect Little green as a company (but could their supplier) who knows. I'm not prepared to risk this cracking effect again, as reasons given by LG for it don't tally with what happened. So i’ve cut my losses so to speak & have put the other unopened tins in the garage & re-purchased another companies paint, a zero VOC this time which has performed very well.
This last lot of LG paint was no good. The decorator whose been painting for decades & has never had cracked paint before even said it wasn’t great paint & he wouldn’t want to use it again.
Im now left with 4x5litres of little green paint that I'm not prepared to risk using. At nearly £80 a tin thats alot of money wasted!
To note the other paint i purchased to do the other rooms has not mud cracked & was used on the same type of skimmed walls, in the similar temperature possibly a degree or 2 cooler, by the same well respected decorator, with less drying times allowed between coats. Looks great!
While i know drying time & temp can effect paint finish this is extremely unlikely in my situation for reasons previously stated.
Whether i risk trying LG paint again Will depend on how little green responds once they receive batch numbers but to date they are blaming temperature & drying times BOTH of which where more than
adequate. If the decorator was a cowboy or him or myself a novice to decorating maybe i’d buy the drying times but i was there & know over 24 hours was between each coat & was definitely dry.
Be fore warned. Would hate for others to have this problem too & waste ££££.
Instead of moving in before Christmas i’m now forced to wait till decorator has got a spare slot (he's in demand due to reputation & is booked up most of the year) to sand back walls & re paint. Sooo frustrating!
