Listia used to be ok to trade your old stuff for new. Watch videos for credits and it changed. For one thing has inxk currency this may or may not be a plus for you. The shipping is always the cost in these type sites, and the Post Office costs has gone up ! I remember sending a shoebox sizedabout 1 yr. ago.. ( Literally was a shoe box wrapped) to another state and it cost 5.$ I sent a smaller package 2 days ago was over *8.$ And went to only a few miles away. So Seems to have gone up quite a bit ! Listia used to be a little more homestyle but it went well just different visit the site you will see. Maybe it will be for you but not for me anymore.

XNK is a scam worth nothing. 1 year of credits lost.

I have been a member and a seller for over 4 years and there has been one problem after another but now that I am no longer listing and trying to get the last of the cash owed me from selling credits. I am owed $19.92 and they won't deposit that to my acct because it is not $20.00. That was one excuse and being as I always sign in through Facebook . I just didn't change my email on Listia when I moved and my email address changed. I tried , They sent me to a link that kept sending back to the same site , No instructions just kept sending me back to the same site over and over. I have written them several times about my problem but after 2 months still no resolve and I don't expect one. I think they have just cheated me out of my money .

I have been on listia for over two years.. When it used to be credits it was very good. I could win up to 20 or 30 items a week.. Now they that switched it to ink I'm lucky if I can win two a day.. If you have say 60.25 in ink and win an item for 20. Listia will give it the seller and take there's and you are left with 5. And you lose out on a ton of auctions because it takes about a week just to build ink back.. Then you have people attacking it so that you can't bid.. And if you win a auction over 80. And don't have enough.. Listia will try and charge money to cover it unless you ask the seller for more time. And some sellers are selling for really high so there's no chance of getting it.. Then you have other sellers like a billiejo19: who will buy others people stuff wait a few weeks and try to get double the ink.. It's become bad. Sellers have left.. And the items aren't worth it

Had listia for one week then got an email saying my account had been banned. Excuse was I had multiple accounts. I only be had the one account. They lied.Listia admin can not be trusted. My sis was on it five yrs then out of the blue her account was banned. They said she too had too many accounts. That was a lie also. They seem to just look for reasons to throw people off listia. Very bad experience. Not worth the trouble.

Been a member for several years and used to enjoy dealing other members and exchanging goods. With this new XNK crap they are forcing us to use, its not the same and we are losing more money than we can make. Not that we ever made "money". This XNK crap is so not the way to go LISTIA. Go back to the way it was and stop over valuing credits so we can go back what was once a great system. Listia sux now. I'm gone.

I have been a member for many years. In the beginning it was a really good site, and I thought the new XNK currency would be a good thing to do, but once I got an ewallet and transferred all my credits into XNk and put it in my ewallet, i can't access it and lost $104. It is very confusing and I don't like using this sight anymore.

PLEASE ANYONE WHO IS THINKING ABOUT JOINING LISTIA DON'T DO IT BEWARE OF THIS SCAM.THEY HAVE CHANGE THE WHOLE LISTIA SITE TO SOME BULL CRAP CALL INK SOME MORE SCAM THEY TOOK ALL MY CREDITS AND MONEY AFTER I SOLD ALL MY ITEMS ON THIS SITE AND BANNED ME BECAUSE I DIDN'T SHIP OUT MY ITEMS AT A FAST PACE.I HAVE REPORTED THEM ASAP THIS IS FRAUD ONLY PEOPLE MAKING MONEY AND STEALING CREDITS IS PEOPLE ON THE INSIDE WHICH IS THE STAFF BEWARE

I'm member since 2011. I did pretty well, till they did so many changes. They use to sell Amazon gift cards with GIN, then they switch to auction to bid on. Because so many has nothing else to by with credits, they would buy $15 gift card for credits worth to $60. So only Listia team was making money. The we use to be able to sell credits for cash but they sold so much gift cards for huge amount, then they would make it restriction for sellers to sell only 1.000.000 at the time, and that was around $29. They told us it will be always for sale only a few days, then end up to be 35 days. So I stop selling. Just before they change to that new currency, number of days lower to 3-5 days. So I sold all my credits that I had and would not use Listia ever anymore. They took 10% on all your sales, then when you sell credits, they took additional 20% for them. So you end up with nothing for all your work. They would give you some bonus credits, only if you give a free shipping. So I left all this nonsense behind. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!

I have been a member since 2012. Everything was going good, bidded and won many great items. Also enjoyed, but they made these changes and I hate it. Where did my credits go and can't purchase any more credits. I don't like it, not one little bit. Thinking about leaving.:( It makes me sad.

THEY REALLY SHOULD NOT EVEN ALLOW SOME MADE IN CHINA JEWLERY, REASON BEING IT IS ILLEGAL IN USA TO SILVER PLATE AN ITEM & THEN STAMP IT925 OR AS GOLD KNOWINGLY MISLEADING PEOPLE. IF ITS ILLEGAL HERE, IT SHOULDNT BE SO NONCHALANTLY TRAFFICKED IN VIA LISTIA. ITS MIND BOGGLING THAT THIS IS ALLOWED. ALSO, WE SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO CHARGE ANY AMOUNT WE WANT TO FOR S&H...THEY SHOULD ALLOW US TO CHARGE NO MORE THAN WHAT A FLATRATE BOX WOULD COST. AND IT WLD BE NICE TO RECIEVE A SHIPPING BADGE THAT WHEN A CERTAIN LEVEL IS REACHED , LISTIA PAYS 1/2 OF S&H FOR US MAYBE ONCE A WEEK. I SPENT 389$ FROM 01/01/18. TO NOW! AND HAVE EVERY RECEIPT TO PROVE IT. I LOOK AT IT LIKE THIS: WE MAKE THIS SITE POSSIBLE. WE MADE IT THE SUCCESS IT IS TODAY. WE MAKE IT PISSUBLE. ALL 10-15 MILLION LISTIANS PLAYED A ROLE IN LISTIAS SUCCES. CAN WE GET A BREAK SOMETIMES' IF FOR NO OTHER REASON, TO SHOW US THE LOVE WE SHOW THEM. BUT ALL IN ALL, I LOVE IT MORE THAN I HATE IT...NOT SURE HOW INK IS GOING TO WORK OUT & THATS MY NEXT COMPLAINT...CUSTOMER SERVICE/HELP SUCKS BIG TIME. SUCH. A RUN AROUND TO CONTACT WITH UR QUESTIONS/CONCERNS, AND WILL HAVE U GOING TO THE SAME PAGE OVER& OVER W/ HARDLY ANY DETAILS...SO FRUSTRATING..

just a heads up for anyone thinking of trying this now..they just adopted new currency TODAY, and a lot of sellers who have been there for years are leaving..theyre using a concurrency called ink and they arent even sure what we can do with it yet..they say we'll be able to use it on other sites, but no other sites are taking it..they also say we'll eventually get cash but it is a severalll step process, involving e wallets/bitcoin and some other stuff, that no one can even do yet and they wont say FOR SURE that we'll be able to once they get everything straight anyway..pretty much EVERYONE is confused on how to listing things bc we dont know how to convert credits to know what to start auctions at..
its not going well there now..i wouldnt try to being buying or selling here right now...

I am still on Listia I love the concept but with the XNK digital currency being worth less than 1/2 a penny down from 20 cents a token, no one wants to sell anything of value on this site. Would love for it to be fun like it use to.

Listia is a SCAM!!!!! A WASTE OF TIME AND OVERPRICED CRAP!! Was user for 2 years with 100% feedback and never any issues both selling and buying, until user jenny12726. I was sent an EMPTY box in the mail, but just because it had tracking and made its way to my door, the scammer, jenny, was rewarded all the coins (25 bucks worth)! Jenny was only a member for a month with two feedbacks and already one unhappy buyer. They are a Mickey mouse organization with incompetent admin!! The admin accused me of lying after sending 18 emails and pics...yeah I'm sure trying to scam :/. They are no good for business and actually want scammers on their site!! If you enjoy giving away free money and receiving empty boxes in your mailbox,, this is for you!!

My experience was average. Some cases easy to bid on things in some other cases denied to post things that I don't understand the reason why not. Other times people complaining about their shipping material when arrived something that I don't have control when leave my hands. Later Listia gave them the credit and I lost my things. Anyone can say it is my fault to trust them. I am not to fan of Listia.

Excellent way to reuse things therefore also very good for the environment as you are reducing production by reusing!

I bought a $15 Amazon gift card from them and it's been DAYS. I have tried "everything" to get their attention. Tomorrow I can ask for a refund, but I doubt they'll even respond. They also don't respond when I ask general questions, but they are quick to tag my sales and take them down. I don't know who works there or what their problem is, but this is ridiculous. I spent probably $25 on shipping alone (not to mention the products themselves) just earn the almost 2 million credits to get the gift card, and they won't even give me my CODE!!! I have emailed them a million times. I have commented to try to get their attention. I have submitted requests. What is the deal? They wouldn't allow another seller to ignore me like this, and yet they have treated me like diseased swine. I cannot believe I even thought they were going to fulfill their end of the bargain. I use them a lot and they almost always take forever to respond, almost always take the other person's side. Recently I lost nearly 100k credits because this one lady was not forthcoming in saying what the shipping would be on a deck of cards. When I didn't want to pay up $7, I lost all my credits because I was the bad guy that didn't want to pay that. The listing said " exact shipping"... I go to the post office all the time and the shipping for that could not have exceeded $3 and I wasn't budging so I LOST. Who is in charge of Listia? Why can people sell condoms but not coupons? Chinese sex toys but Americans are not allowed to sell a vibrating massager? I am so hot mad at Listia right now. I cannot believe how unimportant I am as a seller, buyer, customer, and person. And if they want me to take this down they owe me an apology and something for my troubles.

I've been on their site for years. At first it was great as long as you never purchased points. 1000 points was a $1. But Listia never capped of the inflation, so it went crazy. Every month in the last few years the ratio of points to $ went higher and higher. When they finally introduced turning your points into real cash, they heavily taxed it (20 % Transaction Fee). Which meant you had to sell much higher just to make a profit and if you didn't transfer the points to cash quickly... by the next month the inflation would go up again and the value of those points would go so low that you would actually lose money. Even a veteran like me couldn't handle the ever changing prices. When I realized I was gonna lose money I quit. I have 80,000 points in my account. Last time I checked that was like $20. Now it's worth only $3. Unless you stay on your toes, you will lose money on this site. Its glory days are over.

Listia has a large selection of items, the prices are all over the place.

You have to pay close attention to the economy. For example Listia sells credits for 27,500 per $1 but to buy gift cards on the site you would be paying around 100,000 per $1.

The site has a lot of inflation, too many people with too many credits only buying and not selling which caused all prices to raise over the past years.

Used to be 100 credits to a $1, then 10,000 credits to a $1, 40,000 credits to a $1, then finally fixed to 27,500 credits to a dollar by Listia itself.

I'll keep using Listia but I only list when I need credits and spend credits quickly so I dont get hit with inflation.

Its an okay mix with the other sites I use on a day to day basis like eBay, SwapCaps, and Amazon.
