APPALLING COMPANY RUN BY IDIOTS
Great Company
We went on a recent trip with our youth group, the coach driver was great, very knowledgeable and very funny indeed and always put the safety of our children first. The coach was in great condition, very clean and tidy and looked amazing. Excellent value for money. Cant fault this company at all. Well done
DO NOT WORK FOR LINBURG, MERCIAN OR BM COACHES
Sacked because my well maintained personal car failed its MOT and I was unable to attend work the next day despite TAMWORTH DEPOT knowing I lived 140 miles away return trip.
Short life with the firm as a coach driver - two weeks.
Joined as a tour driver and emergency relief.
Got paid on time hence 2 stars but at writing time short on pay. Jobs given were relaxing but no tour work.
Linburg Coaches own many firms of which I include Solus Coaches (Tamworth Depot - Solus no longer exist), Mercian Coaches and BM Coaches (based near London).
I have since heard from other people that Linburg must be avoided wherever possible.
Compassion and understanding of employees would be nice.
DO NOT WORK FOR THE TAMWORTH DEPOT.
London depot is fine to work in but parking is a problem and colleagues there are decently nice.
Work allocated is on an as and when available basis agency or direct staff.
My only offence with the firm - MOT failing.
My car was fixed the next day.
My time with the firm was good.
Having your employment terminated for something as petty as an MOT failing has made me mad.
I gave up my stable job to work for Linburg of which I do not regret. My regret is the way I was given the boot by Linburgs.
Monday morning email. Your job was terminated last Friday. Thankfully I was not given reason to go to the (TAMWORTH) office that Monday morning.
Company is known and registered under Coach Pro UK Limited brand.

Very dangerous driving on M25. Tailgating and aggressive flashing of lights in a 50 mile limit area.

Terrible driving
Had the misfortune of being followed by one of their coaches along the A6 at 6am. Our line of traffic got stuck behind a slow-moving lorry. We couldn't go any faster, but this didn't stop the Linburg Coach driver from weaving around the road, going between the white line and the kerb, and being right up the back end of the car, trying to intimidate us into going faster, even though we couldn't. He went through red temporary traffic lights in Matlock Bath too.
If we'd have had to do an emergency stop, there's no way he would've stopped in time without crashing into the back of us - and when it's a large vehicle like a coach vs. a car, we wouldn't have stood a chance.
We were also stuck behind one of these coaches a few weeks ago, also on the A6 and it was churning out terrible fumes and literally falling to bits with a sharp piece of metal sticking out from one of the rear wheel arches. Hardly roadworthy.
An absolute danger to other road users.

Poor drivers!
Disgraceful driving from the coach driver that dropped off school children at New Mills Primary School yesterday afternoon. Assuming the coach has come from the Buxton branch. Parked illegally and across a junction. Then to top it off turned around (in a road that is not suitable for coaches) and pulled onto a road in front of another vehicle (instead of waiting for a clear road) and proceeded to drive along the pavement. Should have their licence taken off them.

If you are going to travel with this company - DON’T! They don’t look after their coaches so you’ll be risking your life just stepping foot on one. They expect drivers to work too many hours so it’s illegal and you are expected to put your own safety and customers at risk.
If you are going to work for this company - DON’T! Sarah and John will treat you like something they have stepped in and deduct money out of your pay without telling you and for pathetic reasons when you do ask why. They think they are doing you a favour for paying you for working your hours and expect you to be thankful. They are the worst company I have ever worked for and the management is shockingly bad. They rarely speak to you without swearing at you and barely give you any notice for what you are working, as well as making you work illegally. I hope someone has the guts to put them under as they deserve nothing less. I hope the company goes bankrupt as it is run by idiots and they do not value anyone decent and have favouritism on staff members who break the rules rather than those that try to do a good job. Saw it time and time again and it became boring. You are also not allowed an opinion on anything as it is either John or Sarah’s way or nothing. If anyone has any ideas to make things better, they are shut down.

Worked for linburg or coachprouk as they are also known for 6th month's some days we're good but not very often, coaches are sheds, poorly maintained and not very clean.
The Paris good, includes a bonus that they threaten to take off you for the pettiest reason.
I submitted my notice which is 2 weeks. When I got my final pay my bonus had been deducted because I had put my notice, also had another £100 deducted just for not fueeing a vehicle on return to depot.
Laws are broken regularly.
Please avoid at all costs, there are better jobs to be had.
Managers are barely contactable but they soon find you if you even so much 1 step out of line

Disgraceful response from the OWNERS of Linburg Coaches in relation to an accident which occurred in Ireland in which the company are liable. Owners have now blocked the phone number of the person trying to contact them in relation to the accident and are refusing to return calls directed to the offices or answer the numerous emails which have been sent in relation to this. AVOID this company!

Hey Linburg any chance you could reply to numerous emails you have received in relation to a recent accident one of your coaches was involved in while driving in Ireland??? Drivers are required to drive…
Drivers are required to drive unsuitable coaches across Europe.
This was identified on the ski tours I took out. When I highlighted the problems with the owner he dismissed any claims that the vehicles are unsuitable.
I argued that the air conditioning didn't work he said that you don't need air conditioning on a full bus for 20 hours. Really??
Coaches broken down all the time.
Your be lucky if you get to your destination on time without issues
School trip
The bus arrived to take a group of school children skiing, however it was rather on the small side for luggage. Some if our suitcases were a bit big, but the luggage capacity was small. The seating on the bus was cosy, even a staff member who is 5ft complained. The driver who did the first leg couldn't get all our luggage in so there were suitcase blocking the side door, this driver wasn't happy about this and says it always happens with the ski company. We picked up the next 2 drivers, one was lovely and we felt very safe with him. The other driver stopped every 2 hours for a cigarette break, stood in front of the bus and then got on and the stench was horrendous. There were times I didn't feel safe with the one driver. Our bus also nearly broke down and there was a broken down bus stranded for the week in France. I hope that this bus company are not used again

My wife has just returned from a tour using one of you coaches the driver who started the journey had to stop because of sciatica which company lets a driver who is obviously not fit to drive the coach putting peoples lives at risk to carry on???
The pathetic, un-respected, disliked owner
The owner of this company is one of life's disliked, morally corrupt characters who is happy to rip anyone off as long as he gets what he wants. The way he treats his staff there is no wonder no one has a nice word to say about him and why we all took pleasure in ripping him off for hours and not doing our jobs to his satisfaction. In this world you reap what you sew, if this is true the owner of this company will die a lonely man, that makes me smile.

And it only a 1 start as I couldn't give none.... don't work for these if you go on sick as u have a sickness bug they just don't pay u and assume you left as you not gone in and don't call you to give you ur work in few days time expect you to work over the hours management Sarah needs a course in public speaking and how to deal with public as I wouldn't speak to a dog the way she speaks to people she has no manners and everywhere you put a negative feed back regarding this or her ypu get blocked from that page why if it all true which it is they swop and change who you need to speak to and you can not speak to the director John apparently as I have just been informed

Absolutely disgusting management (Sarah) my partner has just rang in saying I can’t make it in today as I’m unwell she then started arguing with my partner over the phone she then asked that I went into see them them at 4 on Mandy to see them my partner said if he is well enough he will and the response was well if he not well he needs to go hospital all I got is a bug that picked up through family having the same bug all week. She then proceeded to say we will ring at 10 in the morning to speak to me. Well won’t be speaking to them as they can shove the job where the sun don’t shine. For anyone wanting to go and work for them or coach travel I would stay away from this firm whilst working there for last 8 weeks I’ve had nothing but bother of them working 15 hour days and then have to make way home from Scotland in car

As an ex-driver of Linburg I can easily believe all of the other horror stories on here are true. The drivers generally do try their best, they really do, but John Hadaway is the worst manager you can imagine (and will barefaced lie to cover things up).
