There is no option to put a lower star

There is no option to put a lower star. Dreadful bus service. I have waited on several occasions for a Diamond bus No 21, they regularly don't turn up. Today as a pensioner I stood with my 3 year old great granddaughter in the wind and rain. The bus didn't arrive again. We got a taxi in the end and still didn't pass a bus. Shameful service.

Kept repeating
THE BARRIER IS DOWN
THE BARRIER IS DOWN, OVER AND OVER..HER IGNORANCE WAS DISGUSTING...SHE NEEDS SACKING OR LOT OF TRAINING..ALL YOUR STAFF ARE BAD .
BUT SHE IS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

Very disappointing experience

Very disappointing experience with Diamond Buses. My daughter was made to feel uncomfortable and threatened by a driver on the 7A service simply because she was paying cash and the driver didn’t have change. She was told she may not be allowed on the bus in future for paying this way.

I raised a formal complaint and received a generic response explaining their change policy, which did not reflect what actually happened. When I replied explaining this and raising concerns about the driver’s behaviour towards a young passenger, my email was completely ignored.

Poor customer service and very unprofessional handling of the situation.

Disabled Concessionary Cards Aren't Welcome With Diamond

I live in South Yorkshire and hold an English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) card. I visit my sister in law in Worcestershire regularly and have no end of problems using my ENGLISH NATIONAL card on Diamond buses. Their machines do not scan it and their drivers don't know what the concept of an ENCTS is. I only try to use it when valid nationally (not before 09:30 or after 23:00 on weekdays), however the drivers all give me grief and say it's not valid. I've made several complaints to Diamond with no rectification. One driver said "at least I'm not disabled", obviously digging at my disabled. I even went to the Kidderminster depot and the controller said ENCTS isn't valid outside of the issuing authority. They have no concept of what ENCTS is. Worcestershire holders are able to use theirs on our buses down in South Yorkshire with no problems, so why is it so problematic the other way around? Shame on Diamond.

Worst bus company ever I have had…

Worst bus company ever I have had problems with them buses turning up late or never turning and now they charge £4 no matter even to go one mile paying £4 is beyond greedy.

Diamond you are disgusting other bus companies don't charge this much diamond you are shameful doing this to vulnerable customers

Totally unreliable…

If it were not so unreliable the 16A in Greater Birmingham would be very useful to me. I'm fortunate to have alternatives and not depend on it, as it is totally spurious whether buses on that route will ever appear, let alone observe the timetable

Yet again the number 76 Tamworth to Sutton Coldfield didn't arrive

Yet again the number 76 Tamworth to Sutton Coldfield did not turn up in Curdworth. It should have arrived at 10.11am. I phoned the office to be told it passed through at 17 minutes passed, I assured the lady I spoke to that I had been waiting at the bus stop since 9.55 and no bus had passed through. She said th driver must have taken a different route???????
Recently I went to Ventura park, went to get the bus home which didnt arrive. I phoned the office to be told the bus would not be running, after a few words it was suggested I phone a taxi get a receipt from the driver and send it in to be reimbursed. The service is a joke, but I have no choice it is the only bus service we have.

I’m on the 21 bus and there’s is a driver with pink hair who lets his girlfriend get on for free and at every stop, he’ll get out with her to make out and vape, i just think this is really not professional. It is a traumatic experience because no one wants to see a bus driver and a 1st year college student kissing it is unethical

Terrible bus service

Terrible bus service. I get the 19 and time after time buses don’t arrive. Often when they do arrive drivers switch to ‘Not In Service’ and drive off again with no explanation.

We pay our fare just to be left stranded or to arrive at work/home late. Sort it out!

When i rung in the bus company up…

When i rung in the bus company up regarding why theyre time tables being 1 year out of date in Staprnhill Burton on Trent Staffs, their company said it is up to the high ways to change the timetable.

Highways stated we only maintain the bus stop, not the timetables that is Dimond bus Company responsibility to change the time table in the bus shelter.

When you ring them up they make pity-full excuses so they avoid answering your inquiry why theres no time table up to dare time table showing in the bus shelter.

So I rung them back and said, I suggest you check your timetables , what are in the bus shelters and stop making pityful excuse, what is good going going on? Because highways of said it is your people that have to Maintain the bus timetables and the male answered Well we will after look that that further.

The 99 bus service from Solihull…

The 99 bus service from Solihull station to Kinghurst frequently goes past the bus stop at the station without stopping despite people putting out their hand. It frequently is very late or doesn't turn up and the real time on their app is hopeless as it doesn't match what actually happens. I have emailed to complain but received no reply after a month. The previous company that ran this service Stagecoach were great and we had no problems.

Log an issue and get lied to

If I was you avoid at all costs, I have raised a very valid complaint regarding a bus stopping at the wrong stop, so we all had to get off again by which point the correct bus had gone passed. I have requested a refund for my day ticket as I had to then drive myself to work and have been lied to and refused a refund. The Bus driver even admitted fault as we all got off the bus.

Terrible customer service, too be honest the amount of emails I have received its probably cost them more to reply to me all those times than refund the £5.20! I was shocked reading all these negative reviews how can they continue treating paying customers this way i do not know.

Everything about this company is a…

Everything about this company is a joke. I rely on the 4H service to get to college and I am late by half an hour every morning. Drivers just don’t show up for their shift to change over in the bus station so buses are put out of service. If they do show up they’re usually late. They’re always delayed and often just drive past you in the complete wrong lane, clearly not having a single intention of stopping anyway. I was waiting for a bus for over an hour the other day and could see them going a different way, with no changes to bus services released online or signs in the bus stop. Today I had a bus driver that was parked in the wrong stand and as I walked over shut the door in my face and just left. I am completely fed up as I have no alternative route to college and am getting in trouble repeatedly for my punctuality. Drivers are also rude and swear a lot, can tell they’re fed up with this company too. Not to mention when you try to complain they just come up with excuses like traffic or keep asking for more details until you just give up wasting your time.

Times always late
Drivers very rude swearing,using phone while driving.
Services customer service put down phone on you when call for help

Time for gover to look for another companies.
