Wrong clasp was sent. Everything smelled like mold. Shipping was 31,5 euros for small order. It wasn't even delivery to home but to parcel shop. For that amount of money this is un acceptable.

Damaged goods

Damaged goods
I ordered a stitching pony, but it arrived damaged and wet due to poor packaging. The cardboard box was damaged and the plastic bag inside was torn.

As a result, one of the clamping screws that locks the tilt angle is broken (the wooden part), making the tool unusable.

Please advise how this issue can be resolved. I can provide photos if needed.

Amazing

As a leathercraftsman throughout 25 years, I've found myself to be piggy, and hard to please, yet skindhuset (leather house)) managed to do so anyway,,, I sit with this feeling now, since I'm from Denmark but live abroad,,, was this a one-time thing, did I just accidentally struck 'gold'
My skilled knowhow in this area tells me there are more to come from this store,, I highly recommend it

I placed two order

I placed two order, the first on was pretty much fine but with the second one, one of the leathers received came with a lot of stains scratches making it very difficult to use it for upholstery products

Thank you for your response, but I must respectfully disagree with several of your points. I would like to clarify a few facts to ensure there’s no misunderstanding:

Unsuitable Terminals for Leather: The gauge was sold with terminals that are not appropriate for measuring leather. Leather is a compressible material, and any professional in the field should know that using a pointed terminal concentrates pressure and leads to inaccurate readings. A flat-surface terminal is the correct choice for measuring leather thickness, as it reduces compression and provides more consistent results. This basic principle should be known by anyone selling gauges intended for leatherworking.

Lack of Options at Purchase: When I bought the gauge, there was no option to choose the type of terminal. I assumed a professional supplier would include the correct one for measuring leather, especially since the product is marketed for that purpose.

Replacement Terminal Problems: I eventually purchased the correct flat terminal separately. However, when installed, the gauge could not be zeroed correctly — suggesting the part was either incompatible or defective. Worse still, while trying to adjust the gauge, one of the screws broke and became stuck, rendering the gauge unusable. This added yet another layer of frustration to an already disappointing experience.

Passing Responsibility to the Customer: Suggesting that I contact the manufacturer myself is, in my view, unprofessional. I purchased the product from you, and it is your responsibility to liaise with the manufacturer and provide a solution. Telling a customer to deal with the problem on their own, after months of ineffective support, is not acceptable.

To sum up: this situation could have been avoided with better product knowledge, clearer options at the point of sale, and more proactive customer service. I hope this feedback helps you improve future interactions with customers — especially professionals who rely on quality tools and proper support.
