Lawcomm was both competitevely priced amd efficent in supporting me in my first property purchase. The solicitor that was assigned to the case, Natalie Chan, was knowledgable, responsive and precise.

1 star is too much for this law firm. I have unfortunately had to be involved with this law firm via my buyers. however, this transaction that has been in process since Aril 2025 is about to fall through today due to their sheer lack of competence. They send the file for "review" then come up with different reasons as to why they cannot proceed. they then asked me to pay £524 indemnity insurance to cover the final enquiries only to then go back to an older enquiry from months ago they they themselves were supposed to chase with their own search provider that they seemingly cannot seem to do and seemingly completely forgot about the issue altogether until it came to the day of deadline. Not to mention the extent of unanswered email and telephone calls made by my buyer and solicitor. I would never with the amount of stress and frustration i have had to endure caused by these people on anyone. My advice would be to simply stay away from this law firm.

“ Cheapskates “ They quote you a good internet price then mess up all the admin. Especially the land registry documents. Took me over a year to sort out my freehold because they made a mistake on registration. Once they have had your money they give you the blank. Very bad admin and don’t answer the phone , just recorded messages. Take a bit of advice and steer clear of” Dopey Dave” their head of private clients. Very slippery!

Our conveyancing had all the usual bumps along the way including our buyers Solicitor going off sick and leaving nothing done for 3 weeks (MUVE - do not use).

Natalie Chan provided my partner and I with outstanding client service. We had a particularly difficult case with our sellers initial property falling through just before Christmas and then an incredibly tight stamp duty deadline to meet.

The process lasted almost a year and Natalie was calm, responsive and composed throughout. We completed before the stamp duty deadline and couldn’t be happier with the service provided.

I would happily recommend Natalie and Lawcomm to anyone buying a property.

We worked with Lawcomm Solicitors for the third time, now sold our London property. Excellent service from Surinderpal Ghataora: efficient, punctual and straightforward. Managed to do everything remotely (we moved out of the UK) and our side never caused any delays.

Good on line service. Regular updates as to how the conveyancing was proceeding. Whilst an online service we had access to advice over the telephone and via email. There was always someone to talk to if we needed it.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Lawcomm Solicitors and my solicitor Natalie. My estate agent tried to tell me to go with someone local but I took the chance and was pleased I did.

You get what you pay for, Lawcomm was low cost budget service which was reflected in the service performed. Lack of communication and numerous mistakes in corresponds, letters appeared to be written via AI and not read through, so appeared unprofessional.

Additional cost added to final bill, with no justification or explanation given.

I would neither recommend or use this service again.

(Just to add to my review you did find me with the additional information provided, to clarify I was not advised of any additional costings, I wrote a letter expressing my discontent to date I have not received a response addressing my concerns. However, I did receive a half hearted apologise for poor service).

After paying Lawcomm Solicitors for conveyancing in Feb 2022, they failed to diligently check that HTB had removed their charge from my title deeds correctly.

I informed Lawcomm of this failure on 22/05/25 when it was brought to my attention and as it stands, on 03/07/25 this still hasn’t been removed.

Lawcomm have failed to offer a formal response to my formal complaint within 28 days, as per their complaints procedure, further destroying any confidence in this firm to carry out their duties effectively.

I would not use this company for any conveyancing needs in the future due to the levels of incompetency they have repeatedly shown throughout this process.

Excellent experience in the purchase of my new home. Lawcomm took the pain out of the process and I always felt they were looking after my best interests.
