Treatments were fine. The financing was not. Laser Away pushed a “0% interest” plan that was actually 0% deferred interest—meaning one penny left at the deadline triggers retroactive interest on the entire loan at 35%+. My wife had under $100 left and we still got slammed with ~$1,600 in interest. When I called, they shrugged and told me to talk to the lender.

If Laser Away is pitching the lender in-store and profiting from it, they should own the outcome. Their rep never made it clear that anything short of a $0 balance by the promo end would nuke me with back-interest.

Colorado-Park Meadows location. If the treatments worked, then there wouldn't be the constant upsell to have one purchase additional services. I asked about a refund and was told I had no monetary value left on my account. I call fraud on this. Per the cost of service there was $525 of unused treatments. Rep, Logan claimed she (yes, female) spoke to her manager, but I doubt it as the establishment was still calling me to set up appointments. If she had spoken to them they would not have contacted me. I am a medical professional who purchased laser hair removal from LaserAway—not “reduction”—and completed 26 full treatments across multiple body areas exactly as instructed. Despite perfect compliance, dark hair, appropriate skin tone, no tanning, and fully normal lab work, substantial hair remains, proving the treatments failed entirely.

After spending tens of thousands of dollars, I was only later told LaserAway provides “hair reduction”—a blatant bait-and-switch, false advertising, and deceptive marketing tactic. Corporate has ignored repeated calls, in-person visits, and documented medical evidence, while marketing staff continue aggressively soliciting additional payments for treatments that do not work.

LaserAway demonstrates chronic employee turnover, systemic incompetence, and total lack of accountability. They have been the subject of class action lawsuits and hundreds of BBB complaints describing the same neglect and deception.

I demand immediate accountability, correction, and resolution for the failed services. Until then, I strongly caution all consumers against this company.

Very expensive, I bought a package and half way through they burnt my face and I had to wait three weeks before getting an Hydro facial.
I asked a refund for remaining session and they won't allow it but obviously I would never go back, they are also dishonest.

Poor app and unclear unit reporting history.
Feels like a scam sales tactic.
We never know what brand they’re using on us.
We never know how much product they actually use.
All we know is that it wears off in less than two months.

I’m writing this after months of trying to get someone from LaserAway to take accountability for a terrible experience. I completed all of my laser hair removal treatments and after finishing every single session as recommended, I’ve only seen about 20 to 25 percent reduction in hair growth which is completely unacceptable for the cost and promises made.

What’s worse than the poor results is the unprofessional and disrespectful way the management handled my concerns. I reached out several times to the regional director for the Long Island locations, Ashley, and not only did I receive no meaningful response, but the tone and dismissiveness I did encounter were completely inappropriate for a company of this size. There was no effort to resolve my concerns, no offer to review my case, and no customer care whatsoever.

LaserAway sells a premium service at a premium price, but their results and customer service are anything but premium. Once they have your money, you’re on your own. I strongly urge anyone considering them to stay far away. There are far better providers who stand behind their results and treat customers with respect.

Avoid LaserAway. Don’t waste your money or your time.

I tried to get a quote for laser hair removal for my back. I have been to another company for several years and wanted to get a price for tough-up work. The first thing I noticed was the high pressure sales tactics. This usually reminds me that the price is going to be high. I requested a few sessions as I have no experience with Laser Away. The best I can determine based on the pathetic quote was 3 touch-ups for a single area for $1,347.00. Shockingly expensive - Beware!

I initially chose this laser hair removal business because the social media hype and the initial sales consultants being friendly and convincing during my initial consultation who praised their services and made me feel confident about signing up. Unfortunately, that positive first impression didn’t last.

The biggest disappointment has been the front desk staff and their customer service. Instead of focusing on making clients feel welcome and valued, they pressure you into buying additional services on the spot. It’s either buy now or nothing at all — and if you say no, the tone completely changes. The friendliness disappears, and suddenly you’re treated like you’re no longer important. That’s not the kind of atmosphere a professional business should foster.

It’s also clear that many of the glowing reviews aren’t genuine. They push clients to leave five-star ratings in exchange for a free underarm treatment, which explains why their online reputation doesn’t reflect the actual experience.

To be fair, some of the technicians are wonderful—kind, patient, and skilled, and they make the sessions much more comfortable (like Lisa who isn't with them anymore). But others have such nasty, unprofessional attitudes that I honestly feel they shouldn’t be working in this industry at all. Consistency is everything in a service business, and sadly, this place doesn’t deliver it.

Overall, while there are a few gems on their team, the pushy sales tactics, poor front desk service, and inconsistent technicians outweigh the positives. I regret committing to them and would strongly encourage anyone considering this place to proceed with caution.

I was excited to come to the Beverly Hills LaserAway — the location is beautiful and I initially felt like I was in good hands. As a model, I take my treatments seriously, and I was ready to invest long-term.

But after a few visits, I saw the same pattern I experienced at other LaserAway locations: selling products they didn’t have, substituting treatments without my consent, and making appointments at locations that turned out to be closed when I arrived. When I questioned it, I was treated poorly and made to feel like it was my fault.

I also experienced serious red flags, including a fraudulent call pretending to be corporate and attempts to open financing accounts in my name without consent.

This location, like the others, uses predatory sales tactics, bait-and-switch practices, and scam-like behavior. I’ve since moved to a reputable plastic surgeon/medspa where I know I’m getting what I pay for.

Waited 45 minutes for my appointment. The technician knew very little. Refused to refund what I hadn't used and then ripped me off $150.

When we talked about financing for procedures, I was promised (and I told them multiple times), I was assured that the first pass would not incur any credit check. It is only if I chose a specific vendor, would I be subject to a credit check. Alas, this was not the case. I’ve been a loyal customer of LaserAway for a long time, but my most recent visit was deeply disappointing and honestly quite distressing.

The technician seemed rushed from the beginning and skipped essential steps that are typically part of the process — like properly marking my arms. When I tried to give polite feedback, she brushed it off with, “This is how I do it,” and later said, “This is my style,” when I questioned why she wasn’t repositioning herself as other technicians have always done.

What was even more upsetting was how she handled the conversation. I remained respectful throughout, but she accused me of being disrespectful — which felt completely uncalled for and frankly unprofessional.

The worst part? I was burned during the session. The pain was immediate and has continued since. I’ve been in significant discomfort, and I honestly don’t understand how something so serious could happen at a professional clinic like this.

I didn’t want to leave a negative review, but the experience — both physically and emotionally — left me with no choice. I reached out to customer service, hoping for real concern or resolution. Instead, I was simply told to apply Vaseline. There was no acknowledgment of the pain I experienced or the emotional toll the incident caused.

When it was time to pay, I paid in full without hesitation. But when it was time to receive quality service, I was met with carelessness and disappointment. I expected better from LaserAway, and I sincerely hope no other customer has to go through what I did.

I need a better resolution than what I’ve been offered so far. This deserves to be taken seriously.

I do not recommend this place. If you’re a color person bad Customer Service do not give you correct information, front desk rep will lie to you about your appointment time so they can get out of their shift early, especially on the weekend and when you request a cancellations, loserAway will give you the runaround and will not cancel until over a month later.

STAY AWAY FROM LASER AWAY. I would give negative stars if I could.

In July of last year, I became interested in LaserAway's RF Microneedling treatments. After submitting my info online, I was contacted by a representative who immediately launched into high-pressure sales tactics--pushing promotions and urging me to book before understanding my needs. I explained I wanted to address skin tightening, hyperpigmentation, and acne. She assured me I was a perfect candidate. I told her I was going to see my dermatoolgist next week and she discouraged me from speaking with my dermatologist, and repeatedly followed up with texts and misleading photos stating this was a relative of hers and look at the wonderful results, which was completely and utterly false.

Regrettably, I purchased a 6-treatment RF Microneedling package for $4,298.75. After my first session, my acne significantly worsened. I was told this was normal and encouraged to continue. After a second session, my skin declined further. At my third appointment, I was informed that I could no longer be treated in key areas due to active breakouts--making the treatments essentially unusable.

In February, I contacted customer service and was offered a refund or store credit. I agreed to consider credit but needed confirmation on what I could safely receive. After submitting photos and weeks of follow-up, a nurse finally contacted me in May and confirmed I wasn't a candidate for RF Microneedling or Thermage due to my skin. She said Botox or filler were my only options, which I already receive elsewhere.

Since then, I've reached out multiple times and have had to explain my case from scratch to a different person every time. The responses have become increasingly inappropriate, dismissive, and manipulative. I'm continually told I will "lose my investment" if I don't move forward--yet I'm being offered services I've already been told by Laseraway nurses, I can't receive, nor am I a good candidate for. Today, I spoke with someone who admitted they couldn't help, pushed services I'm not eligible for, and ended the call saying, "expect no one to answer you."

Is this seriously how you treat customers? You're asking people to make significant financial investments, then responding with unethical behavior, zero transparency, and blatant disrespect. It is not only unprofessional--it's alarming.

I emailed customer service on July 10th, and nothing. It says on their website they will get back to you in 24 hours. Not to mention, if. you just do a quick search on LaserAway, you'll find multiple class action lawsuits against the company. So ask yourself, is this all really worth it?

LaserAway is not the only game in town and I would recommend going to an actual MedSpa before purchasing any of their services

I had 10 sessions of laser hair removal on a section of my face and saw no noticeable results whatsoever. When I reached out to express my concerns, I was told I’d need to purchase six more sessions—costing even more money. At this point, it feels like a total scam.

The sales tactics were very aggressive from the beginning, and now it’s clear they’re more interested in upselling than delivering real results. When I asked to meet with one of their nurse techs to show the persistent hair growth, I was flat-out refused. It was obvious the person I spoke to was reading from a script, which makes me think this complaint is not uncommon.

For a service that costs thousands of dollars, I expected better customer service, some accountability, or at the very least, a willingness to follow up and take a second look. Instead, I was met with indifference and zero flexibility.

Please think carefully before committing to this company. I regret spending so much money for nothing. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I hope this helps someone else avoid the same mistake.

As a customer for years and going through many laser hair removal packages, my last purchase was a maintenance package of 5 laser hair removal treatments. I completed 3 treatments and when I returned for my fourth session, they would not honor my remaining treatments because the salesperson that sold me the package no longer works there. Despite having documentation and a receipt emailed to me from the sales representative that added on the two additional sessions as a “promo” at the time they were selling me this package, they would not honor the two remaining sessions. This is a business that lacks integrity and operates in an unethical and unscrupulous manner.

I took a phone consult and genuinely wanted to buy a laser facial package. The sales person originally quoted me 3,000$ for a 12 month package.
I told her I would like to purchase a 3 session package and spend no more than 1,000. Looking at the prices on the invoice she sent me- it was clearly an option.
When I said that, her tone became annoyed- and she sent me a new quote with the 3 session package- 1,000$ plus a 500$ add on I didn’t ask for. She then told me to “ask my husband again” for the extra 500$ and hung up. Even tho I genuinely wanted to buy the 3 session package I didn’t feel comfortable after that interaction.
Left feeling gross.

I had to cancel my service due to financial difficulties, but this company refused to work with me in a reasonable way. Instead of offering a fair resolution, they pushed merchandise and additonal services that I simply could not afford. Their approach felt money-drive rather than customer-focused, and I was disappointed by their lack of empathy. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for ethical business practices.

Stay away especially from cherry creek location. I paid approximately $6,000 and I still have over approximately 80% of my hair and they are not willing to issue any refunds and claimed my hair is fine and hard for the machine to pick it up the follicles only that didn’t inform me that before I paid. One of their technicians also burned me with laser which she was preforming the session. Seriously star away!!!! If you are smart enough to come to the reviews listed to the people, unfortunately I wish I did my research before.

I’m filing this complaint after an extremely disappointing experience with LaserAway’s corporate team. I want to be clear that the staff at the Tampa location were respectful and even helped process a refund. However, the way I was treated by Candie, a sales rep, and Gina, a corporate representative, was beyond unprofessional.

I recently had a baby and purchased a package hoping to do something for myself. I told Candie I was in pain after the procedure, and she kept texting me things like, “Well, that means it’s working,” with zero concern or empathy. Her tone was dismissive and condescending, especially considering I had just given birth and was still recovering.

Then I received a call from Gina at corporate. From the very beginning, she was rude. At one point she said, “Are you over 18? Did your mommy buy this package for you?” I was stunned. I’m a grown woman, a teacher, and a new mom. That comment was completely inappropriate and deeply offensive. I explained that I was experiencing pain and discomfort, and instead of listening or showing any empathy, she mocked me.

Thankfully, the Tampa team refunded my unused portion, but that doesn’t make up for the emotional distress caused by these women. As someone healing from childbirth, I felt dismissed, disrespected, and humiliated. No one should be treated this way, especially when they’re already in a vulnerable state.

I’m asking for a formal apology and accountability for the behavior of both Candie and Gina. LaserAway needs to ensure that their corporate and sales reps treat clients with the professionalism and respect they deserve.
