Friendly staff. Noisy exam conditions

The staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable and at ease. However, during the exam I could not hear the examiner. I was taking the exam with others who were in very close proximity to me and some of them were shouting their answers which caused me to struggle to hear the examiner.

Very poor experience from start to…

Very poor experience from start to finish. I was placed in a small room with at least six people taking the exam online at the same time. Although we were using headphones, we could still hear one another, which was distracting and made it difficult to concentrate.
The most concerning part was that my examiner was not a native English speaker and had a very strong accent, to the point that I had difficulty understanding her. This affected my performance in the listening section.
For context, I have lived in the UK for more than 13 years, and I am a qualified professional whose work depends on listening and communicating effectively with people. I am also used to a wide variety of accents. However, in this case, the examiner’s accent created an unnecessary barrier.
I made a complaint because this approach introduces variability depending on the examiner assigned, which may disadvantage some applicants for reasons beyond their control. This raises serious concerns about equal testing conditions, fairness, and consistency.
