I ordered on 12/30/25 at 10 pm

I ordered on 12/30/25 at 10 pm, the order processed without the promo code. I tried to contact lands end to cancel and they said it must be within 30 minutes. but they have no one there to answer and no auto cancel button. I called the next day and she said she could not cancel but would issue promo credit if I provided the promo code. she said credit would be forthcoming. the package came on Jan 9th, the account was charged, no credit was issued. I disputed with PayPal. They have not responded to them either. I called again today 1/10 to lands end. They also charged 10 to ship and 9 to return. I won't be returning it as that would mean 20 bucks for nothing. so now I wait for the credit. The call , of course was answered overseas and difficult to understand the representative. He sat on the line just saying mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. I asked for his name and he put me on hold. This is not the Lands End of years gone by. This is just another rip off, steer clear. The product is also not the quality of the previous lands end .

Lands End quality really declined!

I purchased a winter jacket from Lands End online as they closed the store in my area. The quality of the jacket is lacking and not worth the sale price let alone the full price. I have to now drive to a return center and pay $8.95 to return it. I am done with Lands End - very lacking in quality and in customer service. Cheaply made products for higher end prices - such a shame!

Heat-sealed jetted pocket on winter jacket came apart

I purchased a winter jacket that had heat sealed jetted (chest level) slit zippered pockets. The edges weren't finished.

Heat sealed failed. So now I have a hole where the pocket is and the zippered pocket is hanging by a thread. Also the fabric edge is fraying as it was never finished.
Land's End won't stand behind their product.

Get ready to be spammed with 2x daily e-mails

I created a profile on the Lands' End website so that I could redeem some reward points from my employer. Since signing up 12/06/25, I have received 80 spammish e-mails from them.

The item I ordered took four days to ship and was locally nearby with the normally reliable UPS for two weeks before finally being delivered 20 days after being ordered. Now that I have received my item, I will unsubscribe.

Listen to your customers

Listen to your customers, before there aren't any! Very simple, quality way down prices up. Not a good formula for success.

The whole process of making a purchase has become a shell game. Ridiculously exaggerated "retail prices along with even more ridiculous discounts. Disappointing.

Disappointed by LE Customer Service experience

Contacted LE Customer Service via chat and email re: a workmanship issue. The adhesive on the seams of the upper pockets of a Squall coat I purchased about 9 years ago is no longer sticking. The inside loft is now exposed. The zippers should have been stitched in place instead of using glue to avoid this issue. The chat response was disappointing, and I have yet to receive an email response. A friend bought the exact same model around the same time as me (based on my recommendation), and she had similar workmanship issues. If this were an LL Bean coat, they would have taken it back. Unfortunately, LE's returns are good for 90 days only. This will be my last LE purchase, based on their customer service.

Bad Policy and Customer Support

I orded an item online and immediately realized it was going to the wrong shipping address. I tried to call they were closed; tried "chat" they were not available; sent email. When I didn't hear back, I called the next morning and was told that any changes on orders must be completed within 30 minutes. This is not only too strict a policy, but absolutely impossible if you order something any time after 9pm. Instead of really helping, the representative told me there was nothing they could do and to either contact the person who lives at the shipping address and have them return it or call back tomorrow. I have now spent more time trying to fix a simple problem (that could be done on almost any other retailer's website) than the item is worth in terms of my time. Suffice it to say, I won't be ordering from Lands's End again. They have lost a customer.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Disappointed.

I ordered four longsleeve tops for my husband for Christmas. He told me his size was a LT. We opened our gifts today. What he needed was a MT. Before returning, I called customer service and the person I spoke to.Said, bring back and they would reorder same for an even exchange. …NOT! He drove 29 miles to the store,and all they would do,isREFUND ME. I had to re order at a higher price and pay for delivery!! NOT HAPPY.

STUPID PRODUCTS, IDIOTIC SIZING, CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE

I made an online order. Not happy with the items (terrible design and not as pictured).
My main issue is that of the return process. Returns cost $8.95 (+ tax), so I found a drop off location that does not charge the $$8.95. BUT ... Lands End DOES NOT return the original sales tax that they collected. That is not legal and I will be reporting them to my state's department of revenue and NEVER EVER EVER buying from this retailer again.
** Update: The drop off location return was CANCELLED by Land's End, and now the option to drop off OR mail both cost $8.95. I mailed. The summary of my $ return did not include sales tax, but the actual return did include my original sales tax. The whole process was terrible from start to finish. I have had at least 20 sweaters from Land's End in the past 15 years due to carrying tall sizes. I have been very happy with them until a few years ago. This new non communication, terrible design of products, crap sizing (the "tall" was 31" inseam????), rip off return process, and overall stupidity of "customer service" will ensure that Land's End is blocked from all my feeds and I WILL NEVER PURCHASE A THING FROM THEM EVER AGAIN.

Rip off warning! Run away

I used to love this brand. Ordered several items, all were very poor quality and not as they were represented on the website. Frustrated, I went to return them and see they now charge $9 for returns. And unless I go to some very inconvenient location it takes 3 weeks.

Unable to deliver on promised date and wrong monogram

I ordered two personalized terry cloth robes from Land's End on November 25, 2025, as Christmas gifts, expecting delivery in the first week of December based on their checkout promises.

Major Delivery Failure
A week later, Land's End notified me the items were backordered and wouldn't arrive until after Christmas—unacceptable for a holiday purchase made a full month early. How does a retailer run out of stock on popular gifts this far ahead, ruining customers' holiday plans without warning?​

Monogramming Error
I quickly reordered new robes, paying an extra $10 per item for custom monogramming. Yet they shipped with the wrong embroidery, despite the bag and invoice clearly showing my correct request. This sloppy execution demands a full refund and apology from Land's End.

Overall Recommendation
Avoid Land's End for gifts—their poor inventory management and quality control make them unreliable. Steer clear until they fix these systemic service failures.

Bah Humbug!

The recent change in return policy is not at all customer friendly. To be billed $8.95 for returning goods to a drop off site is unacceptable. There is no brick and mortar store less than 15 miles away, although I reside in a very densely populated area, with a well known shopping mall. I will not order anymore from Land's End, as the quality has diminished, and online buys cannot be readily returned without a cost to the customer. This recent change is terrible!

Buyer Beware!!

Place an order and tried to cancel one hour later. Cancellation must occur within 30 minutes of placing an order. When the package arrive the one tee shirt felt like I was wearing rubber and the two were very large. Had to pay to return the items as well as shipping to me. Return had to be to a specific post office. The shipping charges were about $20 for items I did not want. Lands End had gone down hill over the years. Will never buy from the again!! Buyer beware!

The decline of a once stellar American brand

I’ve been a customer for decades. This brand has been destroyed. Once stellar customer service and customer loyalty is in the toilet. Ridiculous $8.95 return fee. Constant problems with the website trying to use the credit I have after returning ill-fitting, ugly items. Prices keep increasing while quality and consistency plummet. Even the tags on clothes now look cheap. LE used to be a reliable, classic brand with Midwestern friendliness and common sense. Now it feels like it’s run by analysts just desperate to make a profit and zero commitment to what the brand stands for. Shame on the business leaders who made bad decisions leading to this downfall.

Don't Believe What You Read

Purchased Man's WRINKLE FREE BROADCLOTH Shirt.
Arrived wadded up in a plastic bag. CREASES were so deep it took me well over an hour to steam press the shirt. Some crease lines are still there. Label inside the shirt collar says, “WRINKLE FREE BROADCLOTH.” It absolutely is not!

I e-mailed Lands’ End Customer service. Their reply:

"When reviewing this shirt, the broadcloth shirt does not have the no iron finish and will not be wrinkle free. We do see that the material is "naturally wrinkle resistant". You may return the shirt, and we can waive the return fee."

I'll keep it. Spent all that time pressing it. Certainly was disappointed. This shirt was NOT AS ADVERTISED.
