£89 down the drain

Bought an £89 bracelet from the store for my boyfriend’s birthday, however 3 months later after he accidentally dropped it ONCE it shattered, the string completely snapped and the beads went everywhere!

The string was nothing but a cheap hair-band-like string, for that price the quality should be better.

Went to the store and asked them if they could fix it, only for them to dismiss it and say there was nothing they could do (not blaming the staff just sucks that all that money went down the drain)

Avoid their jewellery, it’s not worth the price, that was probably about £20 to make tops.

Absolutely the worst customer service…Zero accountability. Zero customer service. Zero respect for customers.

Absolutely the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced — shocking for a global brand like Lacoste.

I returned clothes purchased at the Lacoste store in Stretford, Westfield London, and instead of a proper refund, they gave me an in-store gift card. When I returned to the same store to buy sneakers, the gift card didn’t work twice.

I spoke with the store manager, and instead of helping, they just pushed the issue to the call centre, saying “we can’t do anything” — even though the card was issued by their store.

Since then, I’ve sent 6–7 emails to both:

No response at all.

I also tried calling their customer support lines:

Both are either permanently closed or simply useless — no one answers.

Avoid Lacoste at all costs. They’ve taken my money, issued a faulty gift card, and disappeared when I tried to get help. This feels like a fraudulent trap, not what you expect from a premium brand.

Terrible customer service and an even…

Terrible customer service and an even worse return policy.
I bought a few T-shirts from their airport outlet, and on the very first day of wearing one, a drop of soup fell on it, causing the color to fade. When I went back to the store, I was met with an appalling attitude from the staff, who blamed me by saying the soup contained lemon, which supposedly acts like bleach — essentially making it my fault. I left the T-shirt with them to throw away and decided that this will definitely be my last time purchasing from this brand

Very disappointed with the Lacoste…

Very disappointed with the Lacoste store at Clarksburg Premium Outlets. I returned within 5 minutes of purchase with tags and receipt, only to be told I could only get store credit—not a refund. This policy was never mentioned at checkout and isn’t clearly posted. The staff member, who claimed to be the manager, was rude and more focused on socializing with friends than helping me. I’ve shopped at many stores and never experienced such poor customer service. I’ve lost trust in the brand and won’t be returning.

Extremely Disappointed with Refund Process

I am absolutely appalled by the lack of service and attention to my case. Over three weeks ago, I placed an order with Lacoste, which I ultimately refused upon delivery. Since then, the item has been returned to sender, and despite multiple follow-ups, my refund has still not been processed.

selling defective products/disgraceful attitude towards the customer

Hello, I bought a watch from you some time ago. Which had a manufacturing defect, the watch has a metal bracelet, one of the prongs of the bracelet was badly cut or badly polished, which is why it caught on the silent and devastated a lot of them. The defect caused damage, damaged 3 pairs of pants and I predict that also 2 shoes. They are all from Lacoste because until now I was loyal to the brand until I encountered this situation. The Lacoste hotline does not work, and when I write emails, I do not want anyone to be held responsible for selling jewelry that damages clothes. In your opinion, is such a policy to the customer fair to the customer? Is avoiding responsibility for selling a defective product okay?

I bought a t-shirt and a sweatshirt

I bought a t-shirt and a sweatshirt. and after a few weeks both of them are not good. The sweatshirt is loose in the arms and the t-shirt changed color in some parts.... I already wrote to complaint to them 4 times, and they just keep asking for more photos, when I've sent them good quality ones. For more than 20 years I've been a user of this brand, but over the last year, the products are getting worse and worse. Also it's really frustrating trying to contact the client support and there is always a bot answering, that of course, doesn't understand anything. I really like the brand would have a different way of dealing with it's clients, since the brand is not really cheap..... I will never buy from Lacoste again until I have enough proof things have changed.

Very disappointed with Lacoste’s…

Very disappointed with Lacoste’s customer service –Cannock branch

I arrived at the Cannock Lacoste store at 7:52 PM, knowing exactly what I wanted: three specific polo-shirts, no fitting needed. I told the staff I was a regular customer and had driven 45 minutes from Birmingham. There were still 8 minutes until closing time, but I was told they couldn’t help me because they were “about to close.”

The staff member said he would ask the manager. He came back 6 minutes later, just 2 minutes before closing, and told me again they wouldn’t serve me. I left with nothing. I felt disrespected and ignored, despite being a loyal customer.

Stores should serve customers until closing time — not refuse them early. Extremely disappointed.

All Poplin/Cotton dress shirts are not correct

All Poplin/Cotton dress shirts must have been labeled wrong, Slim Fit are actually Regular Fit & Regular are Slim Fit,

the sizes are even wrong Website sizes are even numbers 38/40/42 etc in store they are odd numbers 39/41/43 etc, can never find a size 38

ho acquistato un paio di occhiali da vista tramite un rivenditore qualche mese fa, pagando oltre 500 euro, purtroppo, ho smarrito le clip che trasformano gli occhiali da vista in occhiali da sole, ho richiesto al rivenditore la possibilità di acquistare A PAGAMENTO il ricambio e mi è stato riferito che l'articolo è andato fuori produzione, ho contattato il servizio cliente che mi ha risposto che non forniscono ricambi, non comprate il marchio Lacoste se vi aspettate serietà da una ditta che sembrava seria, anche nell'assistenza.

I purchased a pair of prescription glasses through a retailer a few months ago, paying over 500 euros. Unfortunately, I lost the clip-on sunglasses that convert the glasses into sunglasses. I asked the retailer if it was possible to purchase a replacement — even at my own expense — and was told the item has been discontinued. I contacted customer service and was told they do not provide spare parts. Do not buy Lacoste eyewear if you expect reliability from a company that seemed serious, including when it comes to after-sales support.

When placing an order, I indicated the wrong color. I got a refusal to change the color because the order hasn't been sent yet. Also, I can't cancel the order because I have to get an order that I don't need first and then make a refund for a fee. That's nonsense. I've never seen a service like this before. I don't recommend buying products on an online platform.

I was sent a defective jacket from Lacoste

I purchased a full price navy quilted jacket directly from Lacoste.com. When I received it, the Lacoste crocodile logo was sewn on wonky, at a angle. I did not expect this from a premium brand. I also read a review on Zalando.co.uk that a customer had bought the same jacket 5 times, and each time the logo badge was not straight and it was tilted. So this was not a one off. It looks like Lacoste has been skipping quality control at those Bangladeshi sweat shop factories. Chasing quantity over quality.

I have bough a Lacoste t-shirt from London Store .I am washing it as manually and it is just colorized as blue mıixed in to the water

I am gobsmocked how a locoste is unquality :(

Shrunk after first wash

Really disappointed. Bought 3 hoodies from the shop. It felt like good quality till first wash. After first wash in low temp, all shrunk. What a waste of money. Each of them was around £100. I want be buying from them anymore

Disappointing customer service experience.

I returned two pairs of shoes to Lacoste, but only received a refund for one. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I was told that their warehouse only received one pair – and that nothing more could be done. There was no effort to investigate or support the customer. I expected better from a brand like Lacoste.

Bought a watch from them 6 weeks ago, worn less than 10 times and the second hand broke off internally. Extremely disappointed with the quality and they won’t do anything other than forwarding me to Movado. I won’t be shopping there again.
