I have at least received a response from Kwik Fit which ask me to contact them with more information . Was it reviews by AI or a robot because I am so upset at whole experience - a reply by a human being would be needed - Kwik fit have my email and mobile number so that would be easily done if a real person saw my complaint.
The first review explains everything in clear English - I have tried contacting Kwik Fit - cannot find correct app etc
A real con job - people have to be aware why £890 !!!! And no idea of why original quote was for Mot + Full Service £340 approx if all was ok. Then after a phone call it went to £530. On collection it was £890 ! Plus NO certificate given!!!!!!’ And the yellow light is now on permanently!!!
Absolutely dreadful - do not believe or trust Kwik Fit Temple Fortune , Lindon NW11. Never used Kwik fit before , - do not want to ever again - having gone local independent, honest garage - I would appreciate a proper response please to sort out this problem - £500 extra is a huge amount for any body let alone an 83 yr old pensioner….!

Once again Kwik Fit Giffnock provided me with first class service. Martin explained about my exhaust and also gave me great advice about my car going forward .

I went to Kwik fit Caterham today and again have to thank Tommy and Scott for being very professional and accommodating. I phoned for an appointment this morning and was given a slot on the same day due to a cancellation. Work all done to a high standard as usual. Both Tommy and Scott are a pleasure to deal with and a credit to Kwik fit, so friendly and easy to talk to. I have been going to this branch for years now and are never disappointed. I can’t recommend this branch enough, They make you feel at ease from the minute you walk through the door, all the staff are excellent. It’s like a little community branch as all the customers chat together while waiting too. Gets 5 stars from me l!

Am bitterly upset at an MoT test + full service yesterday 11th July 2026 . The car is 15 yrs old , one careful driver ,never an accident . 38000 approx mileage , regular service record, never a problem. . Was recommended to Keir Fit Temple Fortune London NW11. Quote was £340
Appointment made 8.30 am , seen promptly . Promised car for 2.30pm. Took a bus home 35 mins . Had phone call later that morning - car failed MOT , urgent repair- 2 LAMBUR sensors needed ,+ minor issues could be done or bring another time .
In order for MoT I said yes - cost bottom line ? Approx £530 . I said yes , asked how much would minor repairs cost - manager replied approx over £1000 elsewhere but it will be at Kwick fit £800 approx . But
I said no , could not pay that , to go ahead with urgent one . Photo sent in Color + others which were black /white .
On collecting - was given bill £800 approx !!! Why You said £530 a few hours ago . The £800 was only for the sensors to get rid of dashboard yellow light which was urgent - but in 15 years the light only went when ignition was switched on - it goes off .
Manager said no - it’s a definite fault which needs repair .
One of worst part is that after feeling sick at the invoice but needed car - the yellow light is NOW permanently on .
I called manager on reaching home - he said bring it back ,
. At 83 I cannot just bring car ( 1 was going away later that day ) . Bring back on return he responded .
I do not trust them - I have now read this has been complained about before . .
I shall not let this go , - help lines , social media etc, spreading it wherever I can It’s a disgusting thing to do.
I felt conned by the seemingly friendly welcome but I think the manager knows how dissatisfied I was when I drove off . ‘Bring it back another time and we shall sort it out ‘. I could sense there was something not right -
And how would I know the colour photo of faulty parts were from my car ? All the other photos , information on health check were in black/ white . This one could be from AI or someone else’s car .
I have been in business, have grown up family, a marriage of 60 years , expert in other things - not car engines . I categorically know know nothing about cars .
Bottom line that is why I chose a supposedly reputable company . Kwik Fit in my experience now - certainly does not come in that catergory . More like Nickel & Dimed - take people for fools.

The big chunky guy at kwikfit osmaston road is unhelpful and a rude arrogant worker who brings a bad reputation to kwikfit, we had a blow out and mobility scheme told us to go there and he said no availability but took other walk in customers orders for tyres I will never us them again

I booked my motability car in last week with no trouble at all for a next day appointment when I noticed the pressure was much lower on one tyre suddenly and wanted to check the tyres before returning my motability car soon.
Turned out there was a slow puncture in a different tyre and the low pressure one was in need of replacing. It was a thorough inspection and the car was ready for collection in a matter of two hours. Very happy once again with Kwik Fits support in Canton. Diolch!
