We were tenants with KFH property managing for four years during which time we found their service to be incompetent. Serious issues (leaking roofs, lack of working shower) took months to fix, and we had a serious mouse infestation for 9 months which lead to personal item and property damage (which could have been resolved with contractors coming in to block up large holes in the property as the mice were mainly residing in the flat below us - instead a man on a bike came round to glue the smaller holes temporarily). We could seemingly never get a straight answer from whichever current property manager was working on our property, and they always seemed to have no idea what they were doing or how to move the issues forward to resolve. We were often treated like we didn't know what we were talking about and had to spend significant time dealing with numerous contractors for these issues. KFH were never timely with updates on the problems or communications from the landlord - we always had to chase. I would not advise renting a property where they are property manager, it is not a well run organisation.

Very bad service from KFH. requests were not done and no follow up to emails and calls.

found a leak in my kitchen april 25 i called in a plumber he found the leak and told me it was coming from the consumer soil stack i informed kfh they came in june25 to remove asbestos found in the flat dismantled the kitchen so its not useable we are now in november 14 and the kitchen is still dismantled and i cant use it they are a bunch of amateurs and liars

I would like to provide feedback specifically related to rent accounting service provided by Kfh, Tish Kunaratnam has been great with answering all queries and providing timely updates, and generally been great!

Lee KFH have been very supportive and quick to respond re any queries regards I have had in selling my leasehold flat. With their help it has been a relatively smooth process.

I hated my experience with KFH Dulwich. I bought a flat through them 6 months ago and forgot to write a review until a friend who is currently selling asked if I recommend them - I don’t.
My EA was unresponsive and wouldn’t reply to emails for weeks, refused to let me have a second viewing after having my offer accepted, lied about a few things he had ‘checked’ about the leasehold, and on the day of completion was on leave without telling me so I couldn’t pick up the keys. I’ll never use KFH again.

Used KFH mortgage brokers when purchasing a flat. Emma Marsden and Heather Jones were absolutely amazing, Emma was soo incredibly supportive throughout the process, going above and beyond and at the end of the process Heather was constantly checking in with me to know where we were at within the process. Will be recommending them to everyone I know who is looking to purchase a property.

Really good experience. KFH sorted out a sale quickly where our housing association had failed. And then provided excellent support throughout the sale to make sure we completed.

Overcharge for everything

After months of mismanagement, overcharging, and broken promises, KFH have now gone one step further — quietly deducting unauthorised fees after confirming in writing that no further charges would be made.

They re-labelled their management fee as a “4% rent collection fee” for November, despite acknowledging their management role had ceased, and added new “Rent & Legal Protection” charges we never agreed to. These deductions were made after we had made clear in writing that no further fees were to be taken.

Although earlier management fees were finally refunded, KFH continue to act in bad faith by introducing new, invented costs. Their conduct has been deceptive, contradictory, and utterly unprofessional.

We will continue to post updates until all unauthorised charges have been refunded.

Had the good fortune of dealing with Cleo McKay, who was thorough in her advice regarding the complexities of being a landlord, offering solid advice without the waffle. I’ve yet to meet anyone in the industry as clued up and genuine in her field.

I wasn't looking forward to the whole selling the house thing, but I needn't have worried. Laura, Harry, and the rest of the team were professional, efficient, and hugely importantly kept me informed as to what was going on. There are always delays, or periods where you wonder if anything is happening but I had regular emails and phone calls from the team keeping me up to date with the progress.
I can recommend them without hesitation.
