Placed an order with a local Fish and chip shop at 17:45, initial estimates delivery time was 17:25-17:45. It was then delayed to 18:00-18:20 and then again 19:00 - 19:20 and finally to 19:40 - 20:00. At this point I cancelled the order as the food was for my 5 and 1 year old children and cooked for them.

I contacted the restaurant who said it wasn’t there fault as they can’t start preparing the order until a driver is assigned, when this was put to just eat they refused to issue a refund as the food has “begun preparation, and this was to reimburse for wastage.”

Refused a refund after it wasn’t delivered offered cctv footage off the time it was apparently delivered but not interested and refused the money there goes my last shop for a month not mention this was ordered with credit after my previous order was completely wrong and sent good that I was allergic to and to make it better I was robbed off the shopping that I placed in replacement off the food I could not eat horrendous if you want to loos your money and just not get your order by all means order but you will be chucking your money down the drain I will now have to rely on food banks because just eat refuse to refund for there own mistakes

I pre-ordered at around 10:30 for my food to arrive at 12:10, it was 29 minutes late, food was cold, I ordered it to come at 12:10 so I could eat before work, it arrived so late that I couldn’t even finish eating my food before leaving.

I am super happy 😊 for this App. It doesn't only have food but also I think everything. One thing I love as well as McDonald's is Ben & Jerry's ice cream 🍨. And they have several places I can buy this just in my area. I mean they have everything you need to have a good cozy day with some food and snacks. So for that I am grateful. Not only that the customer service I have had today and yesterday was great. And I got listened to and understood we're I also got my money back for a transporter that could not find my apartment and the time was not acceptable so I got a full refund. And it was not a struggle to get some recognition for the fault instead they are very much caring and believe in their brand and don't want anyone being unsatisfied for a fault that was made. And that showed me how much they appreciate each and every one of their customers and that you always can contact them with a problem. For me this is a big thing 🙏 and a proof that they are doing everything they can for everyone. I have so many nights were I don't want or can't go out because I am sick were I have used Just eat to order 1 liter Ice cream or a Ben & Jerry's. And that have made my whole night. So we're lucky to have this App that can give you what you want when you want it. 5 stars well deserved. I will continue using the app and enjoying it's service's.

Dear Just Eat, we gave you a last chance, after last lousy delivery. We shouldn’t have done it. Once again, your lousy drivers cannot find the way nor read instructions. We don’t live on the moon, we live in the middle of damn Lyngby! We gave the driver extremely detailed instructions, to avoid same issues as last time. The driver still can’t find the address and drives around like a headless chicken for 10 minutes. The only thing he had to do once he left the restaurant, was turn to the rigth, that’s it, nothing else. Instead again, WE had to go out looking for him and when he finally arrived, starts complaining that he lives in Glostrup and doesn’t know Lyngby. Let me be very clear. We couldn’t care less where the man comes from or lives by. This is not OUR problem, this is JUST EAT’S problem, fix it! Once again cold mushy pizzas. And this was it. No more chances. We hope the restaurants who prepare delicious food just to be ruined by your lousy service, drop you and use another option. Just Eat, you are useless and don’t deserve clients.

Never mind the fact that theirs and the restaurant charges are simply unjust… There is no customer service to put forward your complaints and worst still…., what avenue is provided, is all impersonal and redundant. This will be the last time I use Just eat. Why you ask? Well. I live in SW London and my order is coming from Waltham Forest (North East London) if I’m not mistaken… Someone needs to explain this nonsense to me because, it was my understanding that the restaurant is local to my home and not the other side of London Ultimately if it’s cold or late (which it is by the time of my post) I will/be demanding a refund. Easy to order, but it is more expensive to order through Just-eat compared to directly from the restaurant.

Would give zero starts if It was possible !!!!! Absolutely disgusting service , contacting just eat hasn't helped at all and ive also sent an email . My daughter's happy meal was missing from our order and our meal had been destroyed by spilled drink but have been refused a refund ??? I would never order through just eat again , not only do they whack the prices up if you order through them their delivery drivers do not understand simple English . I would advise people to not use this service and to order directly from the restaurant it's self , it will save you money and disappointment

I would give no stars if possible....so many problems... I ordered takeaway, pizza shop called me over an hour later saying there gas wasn't working so couldn't cook food so can't deliver and would refund.... they marked as 'delivered' so 2 days later got intouch with both justeat and restaurant but no response, then received email back off justeat saying looked into my issue but unfortunately cannot issue a refund...I paid £23.50 for NO food....disputed it and they kept coming back with we've looked at all policies and no refund to be given! I asked if they had contacted the restaurant they avoided the question saying we have followed all policies!! Shocking service! Clearly havent!

Didn't recieve a coffee. Driver said he notified Just eat. They refused to give me a refund or even try to investigate. The coffee was only £2.60. Will not be using Just eat again as customer service was not good.

Very disappointed in Just eat!
Ordered my very fussy early teen his customised Big Mac meal with a McFlurry Sat night only to receive someone else’s order. Finally received my returned email today but to say I’m not getting a refund even though l have photo evidence. Can they just steal your money like this?

Ordered some groceries at 09:30am today Sunday 5th January.
Never left our home, no footprints in the snow on the front garden (only access) yet received a delivered status at 12:38pm.

Tried in vain to contact them to just get AI chat whom cannot deal with my enquiry.

So ultimately I am £34.43 down with no shopping……
Has this happened to anyone else?

I have many orders.. the retairant cause of issues but never Just eat.dk.... they have all been proffesional and helped me fully.. theu even gave me a voucher for the inconvinient...

JUST EAT yet again robbing people !! I made an order from sainsburys delivery by 15.05 at 16.05 im still waiting and the app is telling me order is still being picked and driver is there , i complain to just eat with in seconds it changes to order delivered IT WAS NOT ! guessing this new give the driver a code thing is a load of old rubbish . I also have doorbell camera to prove no one delivered to my door . Stop offering a service if you cant provide !!!

Stay clear of this scamming delivery service. Your order may never arrive and refunds are impossible. Either drivers are taking the food and claiming as their own, which is a common scam with most Just Eat drivers I have been told, or the orders have not been submitted at all. Order from other delivery sources like Uber Eats and Deliveroo or support local businesses, who are a trusted source and have a customer service that are helpful.

Just eat may be the worst service I think I have ever used. Their drivers have no quality control and it seems they just let anyone work for them, on the rare occasion that food actually arrived to my house the drinks are usually spilled which in turn soaks all the rest of the order or it’s freezing cold. The rest of the time it just usually doesn’t arrive but will tell you it has been delivered, you then wait around four days for a refund after having to go back and forth with customer service. Usually with me this is them telling me that the driver made several attempts to contact me and left my food outside the in a safe place called “main door” to which I reply that I’m more than willing to send screenshots of all my activity logs to show them that absolutely no one tried to get in contact with me and then offering my ring doorbell footage to prove no delivery driver has been outside. Utterly useless and incompetent service with zero quality control. I’ve deleted the app and would recommend everyone else to do the same. Uber eats and Deliveroo are much better alternatives

Absolutely a joke of a company my order was missing items can't contact the restaurant coz it's McDonald's and the help page none existent waited over two and a half hours for a incomplete order and cold food but I can't send the food back just had to bin my order wasn't edible and I'm out of pocket coz there isn't anyway to contact McDonald's and it's through them I hope they go out of business at this rate just eat are a bunch of clowns

Food never arrived. Showed as delivered to the hotel but never came. Pretty confident the food was given to the wrong people as zero vetting by the driver. No response from the restaurant or the just eat app. Will never use again!!! At this point I see it as theft!!!

Ordered some gifts for xmas via just eat. Received a call from the driver to say he had been given my order but he thought another driver had my actual shopping. Told me he would try to rectify but he needed me to confirm my code so he knew it was definitely my order. long story short my shopping was never delivered the driver claimed my order was delivered by using the code he had asked me for. clearly just kept my order or wanted it off his system not that this company are bothered they won’t refund me because the code was used the code that their staff asked for so obviously i gave as I wanted to get my order sorted. Company isn’t bothered I have been ripped off by their driver. No xmas gifts now for my family but it’s okay for me to pay for them for their driver to keep. won’t bother even risking to use this company again not sure what’s worse their rip of drivers or their rip off customer service
